Objective and Impact *** is a need to develop platforms delineating inflammatory biology of the distal human *** describe a platform technology approach to detect in situ enzyme activity and observe drug inhibition in the distal human lung using a combination of matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)optical reporters,fibered confocal fluorescence microscopy(FCFM),and a bespoke delivery *** development of new therapeutic agents is hindered by the lack of in vivo in situ experimental methodologies that can rapidly evaluate the biological activity or drug-target engagement in *** optimised a novel highly quenched optical molecular reporter of enzyme activity(FIB One)and developed a translational pathway for in-human *** demonstrate the specificity for matrix metalloproteases(MMPs)2,9,and 13 and probe dequenching within physiological levels of MMPs and feasibility of imaging within whole lung models in preclinical ***,in a first-in-human exploratory experimental medicine study of patients with fibroproliferative lung disease,we demonstrate,through FCFM,the MMP activity in the alveolar space measured through FIB One fluorescence increase(with pharmacological inhibition).*** translational in situ approach enables a new methodology to demonstrate active drug target effects of the distal lung and consequently may inform therapeutic drug development pathways.

Knowledge on potassium ion(K^+) release from soils makes K fertilizer recommendation more efficient and *** of K^+release under continuous fertilization of no fertilizer(CK), urea(N), triple superphosphate(P), and urea + triple superphosphate(NP) without K fertilizer was investigated in calcareous(chloritic and kaolinitic) soils on the Miandarband Plain in Kermanshah Province of *** results showed that the kinetics of K^+release included an initial reaction and a slow *** phosphateand NH_4^+-induced K^+release followed the same rate process during the rapid(2–192 h) and slow release periods(192–1 090 h).There were no significant differences in the cumulative K^+released from the chloritic and kaolinitic soils among all the *** cumulative K^+released was positively correlated with P adsorption capacity for the chloritic(r = 0.461, P r = 0.625, P rrelated with K fixation potential for the chloritic(r = 0.720, P r =-0.513, P re was a significant(P ractive effect of K fixation potential × P adsorption capacity on the cumulative K^+released for both soil *** initial release rate(Irr) index(a·b, where a and b are the rate coefficients of the power function equation) for the chloritic soils was significantly(P r under applications of P and NP than N and *** Irr index values among different fertilization treatments were in the order of NP = P > N = CK for the chloritic soils, and N =P > NP > CK for the kaolinitic *** study showed that K fixation potential and P adsorption capacities controlled K^+release from *** information will be helpful for precise fertilizer recommendations for the studied soils.

In the present paper we discuss the magnetohydrodynamic （MHD） peristaltic flow of a hyperbolic tangent fluid model in a vertical asymmetric channel under a zero reynolds number and long wavelength approximation. Exact solution of the temperature equation in the absence of dissipation term has been computed and the analytical ex- pression for stream function and axial pressure gradient are established. The flow is analyzed in a wave frame of reference moving with the velocity of wave. The expression for pressure rise has been computed numerically. The physical features of pertinent parameters are analyzed by plotting graphs and discussed in detail.

Six dicarboxylic acids 3a-3f were synthesized dianhydride 1 with L-aminoacids 2a-2f in a solution of glacial new poly（amide-imide）s PAIs were synthesized from by the reaction of 3,3＇,4,4＇-benzophenonetetracarboxylic acetic acid/pyridine （Py） at refluxing temperature. Then six the direct polycondensation reaction of [N,N＇-（4,4＇- carbonyldiphtaloyl）-bis-L-amino diacid]s with 1,5-bis（4-aminophenyl）penta-l,4-dien-3-one （APPD）. The polymerization reactions produced a series of new optically active PAls with high yield and good inherent viscosity. Also these PAls are optically active and soluble in various organic solvents chromatography for the separation of enantiomeric mixtures. In engineering practice,it is often necessary to determine functional relationships between dependent and independent *** relationships can be highly nonlinear,and classical regression approaches cannot always provide sufficiently reliable ***,Machine Learning(ML)techniques,which offer advanced regression tools to address complicated engineering issues,have been developed and widely *** study investigates the selected ML techniques to evaluate their suitability for application in the hot deformation behavior of metallic *** ML-based regression methods of Artificial Neural Networks(ANNs),Support Vector Machine(SVM),Decision Tree regression(DTr),and Gaussian Process regression(GPr)are applied to mathematically describe hot flow stress curve datasets acquired experimentally for a medium-carbon *** the GPr method has not been used for such a regression task before,the results showed that its performance is the most favorable and practically unrivaled;neither the ANN method nor the other studied ML techniques provide such precise results of the solved regression analysis.

Ancient subduction zones are characterized by metamorphic and orogenic belts. The Zagros Orogenic Belt comprises almost all sections of an ancient subduction zone along which Neo-Tethyan oceanic crust was subducted beneath central Iran. The Eslami Peninsula, as a part of the Zagros Orogenic Belt in Azerbaijan province, northwestern Iran, is situated between the Lake Urmia fore-arc basin and the Sahand Magmatic Arc. This region contains Eocene leucite dikes, trachyte, tephrite, phenolite, basanite and syenite. Volcanic features related to the Sahand are located in the eastern part of the Eslami Peninsula. In view of its relative age and composition, the Eslami Peninsula proposed as an outer arc of the Sahand Magmatic Arc that formed within the post-collisional setting of the central Iranian and Arabian plates. After subduction and contact of the two plates, a symmetric pop-up structure has been created by thrusting in the Zagros belt as a result of the collision processes. The injesction of dikes in the Eslami Peninsula is also a result of the continent continent collision.
