Maize(Zea mays)endosper. is an impor.ant food sour.e for.humans and *** addition,it is consider.d an excellent model for.r.sear.h on seed development because of its r.latively lar.e size for.both embr.o and endosper. compar.d to those of other.cr.p species,such as r.ce(Or.za sativa)and wheat(Tr.ticum aestivum).After.double fer.ilization,ear.y maize endosper. development includes thr.e stages:(i)a multinucleate coenocyte stage;(i)a cellular.zation stage,in which the cellular.endosper. is for.ed;and(ii)a stage of differ.ntiation into distinct *** ear.y differ.ntiation,four.major.cell types with specific functions differ.ntiate within the endosper.:star.hy endosper.,aleur.ne layer.basal endosper. tr.nsfer.layer.BETL),and embr.o sur.ounding *** subaleur.ne,conducting zone,basal inter.ediate zone,and endosper. adjacent to scutellum ar.se in late differ.ntiation(Sabelli and Lar.ins 2009).After.the main cell types ar. established,maize endosper. under.oes intensive cell pr.lifer.tion,which mar.s the tr.nsition to the endosper.-filling *** the endosper.-flling stage,the mater.al sucr.se pr.ducts ar. tr.nspor.ed to seeds thr.ugh the BETL r.gion,wher. they will act as the main car.on substr.te for.stor.ge pr.ducts such as star.h and pr.teins(Chen et al.,2023).In fact,the endosper. of maize seeds accounts for.appr.ximately 90%of the total gr.in weight,ser.ing as an impor.ant nutr.ent r.ser.oir.Flint-Gar.ia et al.,2009).

Two chr.mium r.moval exper.ments wer. per.or.ed in bior.actor. with and without a magnetic field under.the same *** r.lease of the chr.mium pr.sent in the biomass was tested in two exper.ments one with the initial pH of the medium and one with pH *** objective was to r.move Cr.Ⅵ)and total Cr.fr.m the effluent,this was car.ied out by placing biological tr.atments of synthetic effluent contaminated with 100 mg/L of Cr.Ⅵ)in a bior.actor.with neodymium magnets that applied a magnetic field(intensity85.4 mT)to the mixed *** r.moval of Cr.Ⅵ)was appr.ximately 100.0%for.the bior.actor.with a magnetic field and 93,3%for.the bior.actor.without a magnetic field for. hr.of r.cir.ulation of the synthetic effluent by the *** r.moval of total Cr.was61.6%and 48.4%,with and without a magnetic field,r.spectively;for.24 *** desor.tion of Cr.VI)in the synthetic effluent was 0.05 mg/L,which is below the limit established by Br.zilian legislation(0.1 mg/L)for.the dischar.e of effluent containing Cr.Ⅵ)into bodies of *** r.sults obtained for.the r.moval of chr.mium in synthetic effluent suggested that ther. was no significant influence on the viable cell count of the mixed *** desor.tion of Cr.Ⅵ)in synthetic effluent after.bioadsor.tion of chr.mium by the mixed cultur. in the pr.cess of r.moval of chr.mium in bior.actor. with and without a magnetic field was not significant in either.of the exper.ments with differ.nt initial pHs.

Few studies have analyzed climate change per.eptions in the disaster.r.sk management *** r.sear.h aimed to under.tand how civil defense exper.s ar. dealing with the climate change topic:what they lear. and think *** online sur.ey was conducted between October.and December.2021 with 1,063 par.icipants fr.m civil defense agencies in *** findings indicate:(1) most(80.6%) civil defense officer. completely agr.ed that climate change will cause additional challenges to disaster.r.sk management,while 10.1% stated that they ar. pr.par.d to deal with it;(2) one quar.er.of the r.spondents(26.3%) completely agr.ed that they easily under.tand the infor.ation about climate change,but tr.st in the sour.es of infor.ation is a challenge-52.4% completely agr.ed and 40.5% par.ially agr.ed with infor.ation pr.vided by scientists,but the levels of tr.st wer. r.duced when r.fer.ing to gover.ments and pr.ss;and(3) about 30% of the r.spondents thought that civil defense wor. is associated with the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs),despite SDGs 11 and 13 being r.lated to disaster. and climate *** identification of civil defense’ per.eptions on climate change is an impor.ant step in seeking pathways for.incr.asing capacity building to achieve disaster.r.sk r.duction and climate change adaptation.

Infectious diseases continue to impose unpr.dictable bur.ens on global health and economies, a subject that r.quir.s constant r.sear.h and updates. In this sense, the objective of the pr.sent ar.icle was to r.view studies on the r.le of wild animals as r.ser.oir. and/or.disper.er. of etiological agents of human infectious diseases in or.er.to compile data on the main wild animals and etiological agents involved in zoonotic outbr.aks. A systematic r.view was car.ied out using Pr.SMA guidelines, using the PubMed, Scopus and SciELO platfor.s as data banks. The descr.ptor. used wer. "zoonosis", "human infectious diseases" and "wild animals". The r.sults show that wild animals(mainly bats, bir.s and pr.mates) play an impor.ant r.le in the dissemination of etiological agents(mainly vir.ses, as a new cor.navir.s called 2019 Novel Cor.navir.s) in extensive geogr.phic r.gions. Mor.over. these wild animal or.anisms can act as the site for.essential biotic syner.y among sever.l pathogenic micr.or.anisms, pr.moting a higher.r.te of adaptation, mutation and even genetic r.combination, with consequent stimulation of new str.ins and subtypes, inducing new infectious agents with unknown vir.lent potential. In conclusion, the monitor.ng of these diseases and adequate pr.par.tion for.possible epidemics and pandemics ar. fundamental conditions for.the mitigation of their.futur. impact. The zoonotic thr.at of these etiological agents and the impact on public health can be enor.ous as shown by the ongoing epidemic of 2019 novel cor.navir.s(2019-nCoV) infections.

Chemical pr.ﬁles of non-invasive biological mater.al,such as feces,have gr.at potential to study elusive animals or.those with low population ***,we use a metabolomic appr.ach to evaluate Neotr.pical mustelids as a biological model to descr.be the diver.ity of the metabolites pr.sent in fecal samples,as well as to evaluate the potential of chemical pr.ﬁles for.taxonomic *** collected fecal samples fr.m captive individuals of 5 species of mustelids occur.ing in Br.zil and analyzed them by liquid chr.matogr.phy coupled to high-r.solution mass *** 200 compounds have been annotated;“bile acids,alcohols and der.vatives”was the most expr.ssive class in the metabolome of all the *** successfully discr.minated 3 taxonomic gr.ups:1—tayr.(Eir. bar.ar.);2—otter.(Lontr. longicaudis and Pter.nur. br.siliensis;1);and 3—gr.sons(Galictis vittata and Galictis cuja).Sever.l compounds seemed to be associated with food intake and the digestive pr.cess,while other. wer. found for.theﬁr.t time in Neotr.pical *** concluded that mustelids show high metabolome diver.ity and that species-speciﬁc identiﬁcation thr.ugh metabolomic pr.ﬁles is possible,thus contr.buting to the development and implementation of additional non-invasive appr.aches in the study of mustelids.
