Monitoring of velocity changes based on seismic ambient noise: A brief review and perspective

Over the past two decades,the development of the ambient noise cross-correlation technology has spawned the exploration of underground *** addition,ambient noise-based monitoring has emerged because of the feasibility of reconstructing the continuous Green’s *** the physical properties of a subsurface medium by tracking changes in seismic wave velocity that do not depend on the occurrence of earthquakes or the continuity of artificial sources dramatically increases the possibility of researching the evolution of crustal *** this article,we outline some state-of-the-art techniques for noise-based monitoring,including moving-window cross-spectral analysis,the stretching method,dynamic time wrapping,wavelet cross-spectrum analysis,and a combination of these measurement methods,with either a Bayesian least-squares inversion or the Bayesian Markov chain Monte Carlo *** briefly state the principles underlying the different methods and their pros and *** elaborating on some typical noisebased monitoring applications,we show how this technique can be widely applied in different scenarios and adapted to multiples *** list classical applications,such as following earthquake-related co-and postseismic velocity changes,forecasting volcanic eruptions,and tracking external environmental forcing-generated transient *** monitoring cases having different targets at different scales,we point out the applicability of this technology for disaster prediction and early warning of small-scale reservoirs,landslides,and so ***,we conclude with some possible developments of noise-based monitoring at present and summarize some prospective research *** improve the temporal and spatial resolution of passive-source noise monitoring,we propose integrating different methods and seismic *** interdisciplinary collaboration is indispensable for comprehensively interpreting the observed changes.

Theoretical Chemistry Study of the Hydrogen-bonded Interaction between Acylamine and Chloromethane Compounds

The hydrogen-bonded interaction between acylamine and chloromethane was studied using theoretical calculation methods. Looking the interaction system as a hydrogen-bonded complex, the geometric optimization of the interaction system was performed with HF and B3LYP methods at 6-311＋＋G^＊＊ level. Stable structures of these complexes were obtained. Binding energies and some other physical chemistry parameters of them were computed and compared. According to the calculation results, it can be identified that DMA （DMF or DEF） can form stable complex with chloromethane by the hydrogen-bonded interaction between them. The stable orders of these hydrogen-bonded complexes were obtained and described as： DMF-CHCl3〉DMF-CH2Cl2〉 DMF-CH3Cl, DEF-CHCl3 〉 DEF-CH2Cl2 〉 DEF-CH3Cl, DMA-CHCl3 〉 DMA-CH2Cl2 〉 DMA-CH3Cl, respectively.

Seismic impedance inversion based on cycle-consistent generative adversarial network

Deep learning has achieved great success in a variety of research fields and industrial ***,when applied to seismic inversion,the shortage of labeled data severely influences the performance of deep learning-based *** order to tackle this problem,we propose a novel seismic impedance inversion method based on a cycle-consistent generative adversarial network(Cycle-GAN).The proposed Cycle-GAN model includes two generative subnets and two discriminative *** kinds of loss,including cycle-consistent loss,adversarial loss,and estimation loss,are adopted to guide the training *** from the proposed structure,the information contained in unlabeled data can be extracted,and adversarial learning further guarantees that the prediction results share similar distributions with the real ***,a neural network visualization method is adopted to show that the proposed CNN model can learn more distinguishable features than the conventional CNN *** robustness experiments on synthetic data sets show that the proposed method can achieve better performances than other methods in most *** the blind-well experiments on real seismic profiles show that the predicted impedance curve of the proposed method maintains a better correlation with the true impedance curve.

Theoretical analyses of stock correlations affected by subprime crisis and total assets: Network properties and corresponding physical mechanisms

In the field of statistical mechanics and system science, it is acknowledged that the financial crisis has a profound influence on stock market. However, the influence of total asset of enterprise on stock quote was not considered in the previous studies. In this work, a modified cross-correlation matrix that focuses on the influence of total asset on stock quote is introduced into the analysis of the stocks collected from Asian and American stock markets, which is different from the previous studies. The key results are obtained as follows. Firstly, stock is more greatly correlated with big asset than with small asset. Secondly, the higher the correlation coefficient among stocks, the larger the eigenvector is. Thirdly, in different periods, like the pre-subprime crisis period and the peak of subprime crisis period, Asian stock quotes show that the component of the third eigenvector of the cross-correlation matrix decreases with the asset of the enterprise ***, by simulating the threshold network, the small network constructed by 10 stocks with large assets can show the large network state constructed by 30 stocks. In this research we intend to fully explain the physical mechanism for understanding the historical correlation between stocks and provide risk control strategies in the future.

Mechanical strain triggering flux jumps of multi-filamentary Nb_(3)Sn wires

The composite multi‐filamentary Nb_(3)Sn wire with a high critical current density is a preferred option for fabricating the superconducting magnet beyond the limit of NbTi wire(9–16 T).However,one crucial issue stems from the fact that electromagnetic force in superconducting coils is very strong,and the critical physical properties of Nb_(3)Sn,such as Jc,are more sensitive to mechanical strain than those of other possible low‐temperature *** theoretically investigated the impact of mechanical strain on the thermomagnetic instabilities such as the flux jump(FJ)and quenching of Nb_(3)Sn wire exposed to a static magnetic field and transport *** good agreements with H formulation or H‐φformulation implemented on COMSOL software confirm the validity of our numerical simulations using home‐made *** is discovered that mechanical strain can trigger flux jumps even in a static magnetic ***,the threshold value of mechanical strain to trigger the first flux jump is a monotonic function of the static magnetic field in the case of high transport currents,while it is a non‐monotonic function in the case of low transport *** is attributed to the fact that flux can be released by the mechanical strain,causing smooth flux penetration before triggering the flux *** also present the stable/unstable regions by applying mechanical strain by varying transport current,magnetic field,and working temperature,which helps in avoiding thermomagnetic instabilities while designing the superconducting magnet.

Recently, deep learning processors have become one of the most promising solutions of accelerating deep learning algorithms. Currently, the only method of programming the deep learning processors is through writing assembly instructions by bare hands, which costs a lot of programming efforts and causes very low efficiency. One solution is to integrate the deep learning processors as a new back-end into one prevalent high-level deep learning framework （e.g., TPU （tensor processing unit） is integrated into Tensorflow directly）. However, this will obstruct other frameworks to profit from the programming interface, The alternative approach is to design a framework-independent low-level library for deep learning processors （e.g., the deep learning library for GPU, cuDNN）. In this fashion, the library could be conveniently invoked in high-level programming frameworks and provides more generality. In order to allow more deep learning frameworks to gain benefits from this environment, we envision it as a low-level library which could be easily embedded into current high-level frameworks and provide high performance. Three major issues of designing such a library are discussed. The first one is the design of data structures. Data structures should be as few as possible while being able to support all possible operations. This will allow us to optimize the data structures easier without compromising the generality. The second one is the selection of operations, which should provide a rather wide range of operations to support various types of networks with high efficiency. The third is the design of the API, which should provide a flexible and user-friendly programming model and should be easy to be embedded into existing deep learning frameworks. Considering all the above issues, we propose DLPIib, a tensor-filter based library designed specific for deep learning processors. For sudden expansion pipes, experiments were carried ＇Out to study the cavitation inception for various enlargement ratios in high speed flows. The flow velocity of the prototype reaches 50 m/s in laboratory. The relationship between the expansion ratio and the incipient cavitation number is obtained. The scale and velocity effects are revealed. It is shown that Keller＇s revised formula should be modified to calculate the incipient cavitation number when the forecasted velocity of the flows in the prototype exceeds the experimental velocity.

BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to report the rare case of a pregnant woman with congenital dysfibrinogenemia(CD)misdiagnosed as acute fatty *** was treated according to the principles of acute fatty liver but achieved good clinical *** SUMMARY A 30-year-old woman presented with 39(6/7)wk of menopause and 6 h of irregular abdominal pain and attended our *** surgery was performed due to fetal *** management followed the treatment principle of acute fatty *** sequencing was carried out on the pregnant woman and her *** values of the patient on admission were prothrombin time 33.7 s,activated partial thromboplastin time 60.4 s,thrombin time 45.2 s,and fibrinogen 0.60 g/*** sequencing results showed that the woman carried a pathogenic heterozygous variation of the fibrinogen alpha chain gene(FGA),which is closely related to hereditary fibrinogen abnormality,and the mutation site was located in *** a follow-up period of 12 mo,the mother and her newborn had a good prognosis without bleeding or *** Pregnant women with CD may have atypical symptoms,which can easily lead to *** addition,treatment can be attempted according to the principles of acute fatty liver *** rare pregnant patient with CD was caused by a novel FGA(p.R350H)gene mutation.
