The objective of disaster scenes is to share location-based risk information to a large audience in an effective and intuitive ***,current studies on three-dimensional(3D)representation for dam-break floods have the following limitations:(1)they are lacking a reasonable logic to organize the whole process of dam-break floods,(2)they present information in a way that cannot be easily understood by *** storytelling helps to create exciting experiences and to explain complex relationships of geospatial *** article proposes a three-dimensional virtual representation method for the whole process of dam-break floods from a geospatial storytelling *** creation of a storyline and a storytelling-oriented representation of dam-break floods are discussed in ***,a prototype system based on WebGL is developed to conduct an experiment *** results of the experiment show that the proposed method can effectively support 3D representation of the spatiotemporal process of dam-break ***,the statistical results indicate that the storytelling is useful for assisting participants in understanding the occurrence and development of dam-break floods,and is applicable to the popularization of disaster science for the general public.

Inoculation of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)leaves with wheat powdery mildew fungus(Blumeria graminis ***)induces the cell death in adventitious *** oxygen species(ROS)play a key role in respond to biotic stress in *** study the involvement of ROS and the degree of cell death in the wheat roots following inoculation,ROS levels and microstructure of root cells were analyzed in two wheat cultivars that are susceptible(Huamai 8)and resistant(Shenmai 8)to powdery mildew *** 18 d after powdery mildew fungus inoculation,only Huamai 8 displayed the leaf lesions,while root cell death occurred in both *** 8 had a high level of ROS accumulation,which is associated with increased root cell degradation,while in Shenmai 8,there was little ROS accumulation correlating with slight root cell *** molecular study about the expression levels of ROS scavenging genes(MnSOD and CAT)in wheat roots showed that these genes expression decreased after the leaves of wheat was *** difference between Huamai 8 and Shenmai 8 on subcellular localization of H2 O2 and O2^–·was corresponded with the different down-regulation of the genes encoding for superoxide dismutase and catalase in two wheat *** results suggested that ROS were involved in the process by which powdery mildew fungus induced cell death in wheat roots.

Accelerator database stores various static parameters and real-time data of accelerator. SSRF (Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility) adopts relational database to save the data. We developed a data retrieval system based on XML Web Services for accessing the archive data. It includes a bottom layer interface and an interface applicable for accelerator physics. Client samples exemplifying how to consume the interface are given. The users can browse, retrieve and plot data by the client samples. Also, we give a method to test its stability. The test result and performance are described.

The construction of confidence intervals for quantiles of a population under a associated sample is studied by using the blockwise technique. It is shown that the blockwise empirical likelihood （EL） ratio statistic is asymptotically X2-type distributed, which is used to obtain EL-based confidence intervals for quantiles of a population.

One new mixed-ligand coordination polymer,namely[Co2（btc）（bpdc）（0.5）（py）3]n（1）,was hydrothermally synthesized using biphenyl-2,4,4＇-tricarboxylic acid（H3btc） as a main building block,along with two auxiliary ligands（H2bpdc = 2,2＇-bipyridine-5,5＇-dicarboxylic acid and py =pyridine）.The product 1 was characterized by IR spectroscopy,elemental,thermogravimetric,and single-crystal X-ray diffraction ***-crystal X-ray diffraction studies show that compound 1 possesses an intricate 3D metal-organic framework based on tetracobalt（Ⅱ） *** susceptibility measurement indicates that compound 1 shows an antiferromagnetic coupling between the Co（Ⅱ） ions.

Indian hematite fines are normally characterized by high iron grade and minor impurities, which are usually used for sinter fines. With macroscale operations technology of blast furnace in Indian, pellets, as a kind of high-quality materials, attract more and more attention. However, the hematite fines possess the coarse size. Hence, they inevitably need to be further finely ground for pelletizing before balling. The grinding behavior of Indian hematite fines was revealed by conducting the ball milling tests and determining the Bond ball mill work index （Wi）. The results show that Indian hematite fines have an excellent grindability with Wi of only 7.40-7.73 kWh/t, indicating that ball milling is an economically viable way to pretreat Indian hematite fines. Nonetheless, due to poor sedimentation and filtering properties of wet ground products, the dry ball milling is more appropriate to process Indian hematite fines. In addition, the superior quality green balls can be manufactured with dry ground products under the conditions of 0.5% bentonite dosage, 7.5% moisture and balling for 12 min, which further confirmed that the recommended pellet feed preparation technique is reasonable.

Combining dynamic surface control with backstepping, a robust adaptive neural network control is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems in pure-feedback form with unmodeled dynamics and unknown dead-zones. The restriction of the control gain is relaxed by utilizing integral-type Lyapunov function. Using the radial basis function （RBF） neural networks （NNs） to approximate the unknown continuous functions, and with the help of Young’s inequality, only one learning parameter needs to be tuned online in the whole controller design. The burdensome computation is alleviated. By theoretical analysis, the closed-loop control system is shown to be semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Whether long non-coding RNA myocardial infarction-associated transcript is involved in oxygen-induced retinopathy remains poorly understood. To validate this hypothesis, we established a newborn mouse model of oxygen-induced retinopathy by feeding in an oxygen concentration of 75 ± 2% from postnatal day 8 to postnatal day 12, followed by in normal air. On postnatal day 11, the mice were injected with the myocardial infarction-associated transcript siRNA plasmid via the vitreous cavity to knockdown long non-coding RNA myocardial infarction-associated transcript. Myocardial infarction-associated transcript siRNA transcription significantly inhibited myocardial infarctionassociated transcript mRNA expression, reduced the phosphatidylinosital-3-kinase, phosphorylated Akt and vascular endothelial growth factor immunopositivities, protein and mRNA expression, and alleviated the pathological damage to the retina of oxygen-induced retinopathy mouse models. These findings suggest that myocardial infarction-associated transcript is likely involved in the retinal neovascularization in retinopathy of prematurity and that inhibition of myocardial infarction-associated transcript can downregulate phosphatidylinosital-3-kinase, phosphorylated Akt and vascular endothelial growth factor expression levels and inhibit neovascularization. This study was approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University, China(approval No. 2016 PS074 K) on February 25, 2016.
