Optimal Operation Strategy Analysis with Scenario Generation Method Based on Principal Component Analysis,Density Canopy,and K-medoids for Integrated Energy Systems

The operation of integrated energy systems(IESs)is confronted with great challenges for increasing penetration rate of renewable energy and growing complexity of energy forms.Scenario generation is one of ordinary methods to alleviate the system uncertainties by extracting several typical scenarios to represent the original high-dimensional data.This paper proposes a novel representative scenario generation method based on the feature extraction of panel data.The original high-dimensional data are represented by an aggregated indicator matrix using principal component analysis to preserve temporal variation.Then,the aggregated indicator matrix is clustered by an algorithm combining density canopy and K-medoids.Together with the proposed scenario generation method,an optimal operation model of IES is established,where the objective is to minimize the annual operation costs considering carbon trading cost.Finally,case studies based on the data of Aachen,Germany in 2019 are performed.The results indicate that the adjusted rand index(ARI)and silhouette coefficient(SC)of the proposed method are 0.6153 and 0.6770,respectively,both higher than the traditional methods,namely K-medoids,K-means++,and density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise(DBSCAN),which means the proposed method has better accuracy.The error between optimal operation results of the IES obtained by the proposed method and all-year time series benchmark value is 0.1%,while the calculation time is reduced from 11029 s to 188 s,which verifies that the proposed method can be used to optimize operation strategy of IES with high efficiency without loss of accuracy.

Following the framework of E-N model(Eisenberg and Noe,2001),the authors consider a new clearing mechanism based on net liabilities among financial institutions since the liabilities between the counterparties should be deducted accordingly when clearing in practice.As the basis for systemic risk measurement,similar to the original E-N model,the authors first establish some good properties for the clearing payment vector according to a more general model.Then,the authors investigate how risk spreads among institutions through the liability network forming the risk contagion channel.Finally,the authors illustrate with a specific example that the original E-N clearing mechanism may misidentify the systemic important institutions,and theoretically show that it may also overestimate the risk compared with the netting clearing mechanism.

This paper investigates the exponential stability and performance analysis of nonlinear time-delay impulsive systems subject to actuator saturation. When continuous dynamics is unstable, under some conditions, it is shown that the system can be stabilized by a class of saturated delayed-impulses regardless of the length of input delays. Conversely, when the system is originally stable, it is shown that under some conditions, the system is robust with respect to sufficient small delayed-impulses. Moreover, the design problem of the controller with the goal of obtaining a maximized estimate of the domain of attraction is formulated via a convex optimization problem. Three examples are provided to demonstrate the validity of the main results.

Fatigue reliability-based design optimization of aeroengine structures involves multiple repeated calculations of reliability degree and large-scale calls of implicit high-nonlinearity limit state function,leading to the traditional direct Monte Claro and surrogate methods prone to unacceptable computing efficiency and accuracy.In this case,by fusing the random subspace strategy and weight allocation technology into bagging ensemble theory,a random forest(RF)model is presented to enhance the computing efficiency of reliability degree;moreover,by embedding the RF model into multilevel optimization model,an efficient RF-assisted fatigue reliability-based design optimization framework is developed.Regarding the low-cycle fatigue reliability-based design optimization of aeroengine turbine disc as a case,the effectiveness of the presented framework is validated.The reliabilitybased design optimization results exhibit that the proposed framework holds high computing accuracy and computing efficiency.The current efforts shed a light on the theory/method development of reliability-based design optimization of complex engineering structures.

An essential feature of the subdiffusion equations with theα-order time fractional derivative is the weak singularity at the initial time.The weak regularity of the solution is usually characterized by a regularity parameterσ∈(0,1)∪(1,2).Under this general regularity assumption,we present a rigorous analysis for the truncation errors and develop a new tool to obtain the stability results,i.e.,a refined discrete fractional-type Grönwall inequality(DFGI).After that,we obtain the pointwise-in-time error estimate of the widely used L1 scheme for nonlinear subdiffusion equations.The present results fill the gap on some interesting convergence results of L1 scheme onσ∈(0,α)∪(α,1)∪(1,2].Numerical experiments are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical analysis.

Bioprosthetic heart valve(BHV)replacement has been the predo-minant treatment for severe heart valve diseases over decades.Most clinically available BHVs are crosslinked by glutaraldehyde(GLUT),while the high toxicity of residual GLUT could initiate calcification,severe thrombosis,and delayed endothelializa-tion.Here,we construed a mechanically integrating robust hydrogel-tissue hybrid to improve the performance of BHVs.In particular,recombinant humanized coilagen type Ⅲ(rhCOLⅢ),which was precisely customized with anti-coagulant and pro-endothelialization bioactivity,was first incorporated into the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)-based hydrogel via hydrogen bond interactions.Then,tannic acid was introduced to enhance the mechanicalperfo of PVA-based hvdrogel and interfacial bonding between the hydrogel layer and bio-derived tissue due to the strong affinity for a wide range of substrates.In vitro and in vivo experimental results confirmed that the GLUT-crosslinked BHVs modified by the robust PVA-based hydrogel embedded rhCOliI and TA possessed long-term anti-coagulant,accelerated endothelialization,mild inflammatory response and anti-calcification properties.Therefore,our mechanically integrating robust hydrogel-tissue hybrid strategy showed the potential to enhance the service function and prolong the service life of the BHVs after implantation.

Template matching is a fundamental task in computer vision and has been studied for decades.It plays an essential role in manufacturing industry for estimating the poses of different parts,facilitating downstream tasks such as robotic grasping.Existing methods fail when the template and source images have different modalities,cluttered backgrounds,or weak textures.They also rarely consider geometric transformations via homographies,which commonly exist even for planar industrial parts.To tackle the challenges,we propose an accurate template matching method based on differentiable coarse-tofine correspondence refinement.We use an edge-aware module to overcome the domain gap between the mask template and the grayscale image,allowing robust matching.An initial warp is estimated using coarse correspondences based on novel structure-aware information provided by transformers.This initial alignment is passed to a refinement network using references and aligned images to obtain sub-pixel level correspondences which are used to give the final geometric transformation.Extensive evaluation shows that our method to be significantly better than state-of-the-art methods and baselines,providing good generalization ability and visually plausible results even on unseen real data.

Genesis of ultra-deep dolostone and controlling factors of largescale reservoir:A case study of the Sinian Dengying Formation and the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation in the Sichuan Basin

This paper investigates the origin of ultra-deep dolostone and the factors influencing large-scale dolostone reservoirs,focusing on the Sinian Dengying Formation and the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation in the Sichuan Basin.The study involves petrology,microscale X-ray diffraction,trace element analysis,and C-O-Sr-Mg isotope experiments to provide a detailed analysis.The research findings indicate that the Dengying and Longwangmiao formations comprise six types of matrix dolostone and four types of cement.The Dengying Formation,which developed under a sedimentary background of a restricted platform,contains special microbial and microcrystalline dolostones.The dolomite grains are small(line,and calcite dolostones with coarser and more ordered crystals exhibit similar δ^(13)C and^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr values to microbial and microcrystalline dolostone.During the sedimentary period of the Dengying Formation,ancient marine conditions were favorable for microbial survival.Microorganisms induced the direct precipitation of primary dolomite in seawater,forming microbial and microcrystalline dolostones during the seawater diagenesis period.During the subsequent diagenesis period,dolostones underwent the effects of dissolution-recrystallization,structures,and hydrothermal fluids.This resulted in the formation of dolostone with coarser crystals,a higher degree of order,and various types of cement.The Longwangmiao Formation was developed in an interplatform beach characterized by special particle dolostone.The particle dolostone has a large grain size(>30μm),high order degree(Min=0.7),small unit cell parameters,high Na content(Max=432 ppm),and low Fe and Mn content.The δ^(2
