A Line Complex-Based Evolutionary Algorithm for Many-Objective Optimization

In solving many-objective optimization problems(MaO Ps),existing nondominated sorting-based multi-objective evolutionary algorithms suffer from the fast loss of selection pressure.Most candidate solutions become nondominated during the evolutionary process,thus leading to the failure of producing offspring toward Pareto-optimal front with diversity.Can we find a more effective way to select nondominated solutions and resolve this issue?To answer this critical question,this work proposes to evolve solutions through line complex rather than solution points in Euclidean space.First,Plücker coordinates are used to project solution points to line complex composed of position vectors and momentum ones.Besides position vectors of the solution points,momentum vectors are used to extend the comparability of nondominated solutions and enhance selection pressure.Then,a new distance function designed for high-dimensional space is proposed to replace Euclidean distance as a more effective distancebased estimator.Based on them,a novel many-objective evolutionary algorithm(MaOEA)is proposed by integrating a line complex-based environmental selection strategy into the NSGAⅢframework.The proposed algorithm is compared with the state of the art on widely used benchmark problems with up to 15 objectives.Experimental results demonstrate its superior competitiveness in solving MaOPs.

Epidemiology and genetic characterization of tet(X4)-positive Klebsiella pneumoniae and Klebsiella quasipneumoniae isolated from raw meat in Chengdu City, China

The rapid spread of mobile tigecycline resistance presents a significant public health threat,particularly with the increasing prevalence of tet(X4)-positive Enterobacterales across various species.This study aimed to inves-tigate the epidemic features and transmission dynamics of tet(X4)-positive Klebsiella pneumoniae(K.pneumo-niae)through the analysis of 206 raw meats,including pork(n=182),beef(n=16),duck(n=5),and chicken(n=3).These samples were collected from schools,markets,and restaurants in Chengdu City,China.A total of 25 isolates were obtained from 13 administrative regions.All isolates exhibited resistance to tetracycline,tigecycline,ampicillin,chloramphenicol,and florfenicol.Over half of the isolates also demon-strated resistance to streptomycin(80%),sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim(72%),ciprofloxacin(64%),and ampicillin/sulbactam(56%).Among these strains,14 distinct sequence types(STs)were identified,revealing evidence of inter-regional clonal spread,notably among 9 K.pneumoniae ST3393.Phylogenetic analysis revealed the presence of two K.pneumoniae ST5 closely resembling hypervirulent K.pneumoniae from Jiangsu.Importantly,12 isolates were capable of transferring tigecycline resistance to Escherichia coli J53.Further plasmid analysis showed that the tet(X4)-harboring plasmids in K.pneumoniae could be classified into four types,primarily belonging to the IncFIA(HI1)/HI1A/HI1B hybrid plasmid(n=16)and IncFII plasmid(n=7),which significantly contributed to the cross-species dissemination of tet(X4).In summary,this study highlights the prevalence of MDR tet(X4)-positive K.pneumoniae in Chengdu,driven predominantly by clonal expansion and plasmid-mediated horizontal gene transfer.These findings emphasize the importance of contin-uous surveillance of tet(X4)-positive K.pneumoniae in raw meat and the implementation of effective measures to control their spread.

A naive optimization method for multi-line systems with alternative machines

The scheduling of parallel machines and the optimization of multi-line systems are two hotspots in the field of complex manufacturing systems.When the two problems are considered simultaneously,the resulting problem is much more complex than either of them.Obtaining sufficient training data for conventional data-based optimization approaches is difficult because of the high diversity of system structures.Consequently,optimization of multi-line systems with alternative machines requires a simple mechanism and must be minimally dependent on historical data.To define a general multi-line system with alternative machines,this study introduces the capability vector and matrix and the distribution vector and matrix.A naive optimization method is proposed in accordance with classic feedback control theory,and its key approaches are introduced.When a reasonable target value is provided,the proposed method can realize closed-loop optimization to the selected objective performance.Case studies are performed on a real 5/6-inch semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility and a simulated multi-line system constructed on the basis of the MiniFAB model.Results show that the proposed method can effectively and efficiently optimize various objective performance.The method demonstrates a potential for utilization in multi-objective optimization.

This work presents the nonlinear dynamical system of continuous fermentation from glycerol to 1,3-propanediol. The impulsive control scheme of continuous culture is introduced. By employing impulsive control, Lyapunov's method and comparison technique, sufficient conditions are established for the asymptotical stability and synchronization of the dynamical system of continuous fermentation. The upper bound of the impulse interval is also estimated. An example will illustrate the effectiveness of the results in Sec. 4.

Weighted Sparse Image Classification Based on Low Rank Representation

The conventional sparse representation-based image classification usually codes the samples independently,which will ignore the correlation information existed in the data.Hence,if we can explore the correlation information hidden in the data,the classification result will be improved significantly.To this end,in this paper,a novel weighted supervised spare coding method is proposed to address the image classification problem.The proposed method firstly explores the structural information sufficiently hidden in the data based on the low rank representation.And then,it introduced the extracted structural information to a novel weighted sparse representation model to code the samples in a supervised way.Experimental results show that the proposed method is superiority to many conventional image classification methods.

目的:作为全髋关节置换或全膝关节置换后的严重并发症之一,假体周围关节感染一直是关节外科医师所关注的重点。白蛋白与球蛋白比值是诊断假体周围关节感染的一种很有前途的生物标志物。文章旨在探讨白蛋白/球蛋白比值对假体周围关节感染的诊断价值。方法:系统检索PubMed、Embase及Cochrane Library数据库,检索时间为2023-07-29,根据纳排标准来筛选文献,将白蛋白与球蛋白比值的相关诊断试验类文献纳入研究。用QUADAS-2方法对纳入文献质量进行评价,应用双变量混合效应模型合并纳入研究的敏感性、特异性、似然比、诊断优势比,综合受试者工作特征曲线及曲线下面积,以具体评价D-二聚体在诊断假体周围感染时的准确性,用亚组分析的方法探究异质性的来源。结果:纳入8项符合条件的诊断性试验,文献质量均为中上等。合并诊断的敏感度和特异度分别为0.78(95%CI:0.66-0.86)和0.83(95%CI:0.78-0.88),合并后的阳性似然比、阴性似然比分别为4.63(95%CI:3.43-6.22)和0.27(95%CI:0.17-0.42)。合并后的诊断分数和诊断优势比分别为2.85(95%CI:2.23-3.48)和17.35(95%CI:9.29-32.45)。综合受试者工作特征曲线下面积为0.88(95%CI:0.85-0.90)。结论:白蛋白与球蛋白比值对假体周围感染的诊断具有一定的指导意义,但在临床实践中上不具有普适性,运用时仍要结合具体临床。此外,目前对白蛋白与球蛋白比值的阈值、不同采样类型、不同实验室检测方法、不同种族的研究相对较少,今后应开展更多大样本、多中心、科学设计的前瞻性临床试验来验证。

对变压器油中溶解气体含量进行快速实时监测可以有效对变压器潜在故障做出预警诊断,因此进行了题示研究。利用高透气性的Teflon-AF2400膜组件与高灵敏光声光谱检测器搭建了一套油中溶解气体在线监测系统,系统最短检测时间为2.5 min。构建了理论脱气模型并从气室体积、油温和油中常见变压器故障气体(CO、C_(2)H_(2)、C_(2)H_(4)、C_(2)H_(6)、CH_(4))体积分数角度论证了模型的准确度。模型可在20 min内实现故障气体脱气平衡体积分数的预测,缩小气室体积或升高油温,该时间还可进一步减小。当变压器油中故障气体体积分数急剧变化,20 min内所建模型所得的预测平衡体积分数和实测平衡体积分数的相对偏差小于7.0%。

Pathogenic role of microRNAs in atherosclerotic ischemic stroke:Implications for diagnosis and therapy

Ischemic stroke resulting from atherosclerosis(particularly in the carotid artery)is one of the major subtypes of stroke and has a high incidence of death.Disordered lipid homeostasis,lipid deposition,local macrophage infiltration,smooth muscle cell proliferation,and plaque rupture are the main pathological processes of atherosclerotic ischemic stroke.Hepatocytes,macrophages,endothelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells are the main cell types participating in these processes.By inhibiting the expression of the target genes in these cells,microRNAs play a key role in regulating lipid disorders and atherosclerotic ischemic stroke.In this article,we listed the microRNAs implicated in the pathology of atherosclerotic ischemic stroke and aimed to explain their pro-or antiatherosclerotic roles.Our article provides an update on the potential diagnostic use of miRNAs for detecting growing plaques and impending clinical events.Finally,we provide a perspective on the therapeutic use of local microRNA delivery and discuss the challenges for this potential therapy.

Adaptive Trajectory Tracking Control for a Nonholonomic Mobile Robot

As one of the core issues of the mobile robot motion control, trajectory tracking has received extensive attention. At present, the solution of the problem only takes kinematic or dynamic model into account separately, so that the presented strategy is difficult to realize satisfactory tracking quality in practical application. Considering the unknown parameters of two models, this paper presents an adaptive controller for solving the trajectory tracking problem of a mobile robot. Firstly, an adaptive kinematic controller utilized to generate the command of velocity is designed based on Backstepping method. Then, in order to make the real velocity of mobile robot reach the desired velocity asymptotically, a dynamic adaptive controller is proposed adopting reference model and Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, through simulating typical trajectories including circular trajectory, fold line and parabola trajectory in normal and perturbed cases, the results illustrate that the control scheme can solve the tracking problem effectively. The proposed control law, which can tune the kinematic and dynamic model parameters online and overcome external disturbances, provides a novel method for improving trajectory tracking performance of the mobile robot.
