Implantable artificial muscles are of great importance for muscle function restoration and physical augmentation but are still ***,we report an artificial muscle by soaking-polymerization of polyaniline(PANI)inside a carbon nanotube(CNT)*** in aqueous biocompatible solutions,the yarn muscle generates a large contractile stroke of 17%and high isometric stress of 8 MPa at voltages lower than 2 *** excellent performance can be ascribed to the large actuation volume that is enabled by the fast electrochemical redox of PANI confined in a coiled yarn *** actuation performance outperforms that of previously reported aqueous artificial yarn ***,the yarn muscle can work well and maintain excellent actuating performance in other biocompatible solutions such as normal saline and Na2SO4 aqueous solution,which makes the CNT/PANI yarn muscles suitable for implantable bionic ***,a biomimetic arm was fabricated to demonstrate the applications of the CNT/PANI yarn artificial muscle in implantable muscle,underwater robots,and soft exoskeletons.

Nitric oxide （NO） plays important roles in diverse physiological processes in plants. NO can provoke both beneficial and harmful effects, which depend on the concentration and location of NO in plant cells. This review is focused on NO synthesis and the functions of NO in plant responses to abiotic environmental stresses. Abiotic stresses mostly induce NO production in plants. NO alleviates the harmfulness of reactive oxygen species, and reacts with other target molecules, and regulates the expression of stress responsive genes under various stress conditions.

Innate immunity offers the first line of defense against infections and other types of danger such as tumorigenesis. Its discovery provides tremendous therapeutic opportunities for numerous human diseases. Delving into the structural basis of signal transduction by innate immune receptors, our lab has recently helped to establish the new paradigm in which innate immune receptors transduce ligand-binding signals through formation of higher-order assemblies containing intracellular adapters, signaling enzymes and their substrates. These large signalosome assemblies may be visible under light microscopy as punctate structures in the μm scale, connecting to the underlying molecular structures in the nm scale. They drive proximity-induced enzyme activation, and provide a mechanism for signaling amplification by nucleated polymerization. These supramolecular signaling complexes also open new questions on their cellular organization and mode of regulation, pose challenges to our methodology, and afford valuable implications in drug discovery against these medically important pathways.

A test system was designed to study the parameters affecting the volumetric efficiency of a thick-material pump for coal *** parameters studied included solid concentration,the slenderness ratio of the suction cylinder and the running speed of the hydraulic *** the experiment the concentrations of coal slime were 75.7%,76.3%,74.4%,73.5%,72.1%and 70.63%;the running speeds were 0.23,0.18,0.13,0.10 and 0.08 m/s;and the slenderness ratios of the suction cylinder were 1.63,2.26,2.88,3.50,4.13,4.78 and *** results show that the suction volumetric efficiency decreases gradually with an increase in material *** critical concentration value is 72%;below 72%the suction volumetric efficiency is above 90%,otherwise it decreases *** the solid concentration reaches 76.3%,the suction volumetric efficiency is only 40%.When the running speed of the piston is less than or equal to 0.23 m/s,the suction volumetric efficiency increases with an increase in running speed.

Ram is a very important component of super-heavy-duty computer numerical control （CNC） floor type boring-milling machine, and deformation of ram is a significant source causing errors in machining process. To compensate the deformation error of super-heavy-duty CNC floor type boring-milling machine, based on force analysis theory, the law and compensation measures of deformation of ram are researched. Based on the principle of torque （force） balance of the ram components, the formulas of compensation forces and compensation torques are derived, the relations between compensation forces （compensation torques） and the stroke distance of the ram are given. According to theoretical analysis results and the structural characteristics of super-heavy-duty CNC floor type boring and milling machine of TK6932, rods compensation, hydrostatic pressure compensation and wire rope compensation measures are taken to compensate the deformation error of ram. The experiments and computer simulation results show that the straightness of the ram at its overhanging end meets the national machinery industry standards.

Mononuclear complex {[Cu(N-men)2(cda)2]·[Cu(N-men)2]-(ClO4)2} was synthesized by sodium carbamyldicyanomethanide Na(cda), N-methylethylenediamine and hydrate copper perchlorate. The crystal belongs to the triclinic system, space group P 1 with a = 7.229(2), b = 8.114(2), c = 15.936(4) A, α = 80.511(4), β = 78.993(4), r= 72.118(4)°, V = 867.6(3) A3, Z = 1, C20H44Cl2Cu2N14O10, Mr = 838.68, Dc = 1.605 g/cm3, F(000) = 434 and μ = 1.449 mm-1. The structure was refined to R = 0.0480 and wR = 0.1289 for 2503 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). In the complex there exist two kinds of coordination models for Cu (II) ions. One is that the Cu (II) ion is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms which are from two N-men molecules, and a slightly distorted square planar coordinate environment is formed around the Cu (II) ion; the other is that the Cu (II) ion is coordinated by six nitrogen atoms, of which four are from two N-men molecules and the left from nitrile groups, resulting in a distorted octahedron around the Cu (II) ion. The deposition number of the crystal at CCDC is 161868.

Optimal Integrated Schedule of Entire Process of Dual-blade Multi-cluster Tools From Start-up to Close-down

Multi-cluster tools are widely used in majority of wafer fabrication processes in semiconductor industry. Smaller lot production, thinner circuit width in wafers, larger wafer size, and maintenance have resulted in a large quantity of their start-up and close-down transient periods. Yet, most of existing efforts have been concentrated on scheduling their steady *** from such efforts, this work schedules their transient and steady-state periods subject to wafer residency constraints. It gives the schedulability conditions for the steady-state scheduling of dual-blade robotic multi-cluster tools and a corresponding algorithm for finding an optimal schedule. Based on the robot synchronization conditions, a linear program is proposed to figure out an optimal schedule for a start-up period, which ensures a tool to enter the desired optimal steady state. Another linear program is proposed to find an optimal schedule for a closedown period that evolves from the steady state period. Finally,industrial cases are presented to illustrate how the provided method outperforms the existing approach in terms of system throughput improvement.

A novel dynamic equivalence method for grid-connected wind farm

Dynamic equivalence of the wind farm is a fundamental problem in the simulation of a power system connected with wind farms because it is unpractical to model every generator in a wind farm in detail. In this paper, an Equivalence Method based on the Output Characteristics (EMOC) is proposed, with which the wind farm composed of Squirrel-Cage Induction Generators (SCIGs) can be equivalent to one generator. By considering the diversity of wind generators and special operating characteristics of a wind farm, the equivalent generator based on EMOC responds accurately in various faults. No matter whether the wind farm is integrated in grid or just programmed, EMOC can be used to acquire an accurate equivalent generator. Simulation of the dynamic equivalence of an SCIG wind farm validated the method.

Asteroid exploration trajectories which start from a lunar orbit are investigated in this *** is assumed that the probe departs from lunar orbit and returns to the vicinity of Earth,then escapes from the Earth by performing a perigee maneuver.A low-energy transfer in Sun-EarthMoon system is ***,the feasible region of lowenergy transfer from lunar orbit to perigee within 5 000 km height above the Earth surface in Sun-Earth-Moon system is calculated and *** transfer types are found,i.e.,large maneuver and fast transfers,small maneuver and fast transfers,and disordered and slow *** of feasibility trajectories belong to the first two ***,the lowenergy trajectory leg from lunar orbit to perigee and a heliocentric trajectory leg from perigee to asteroid are patched by a perigee *** optimal full-transfer trajectory is obtained by exploiting the differential evolution ***,taking 4179 Toutatis asteroid as the target,some low-energy transfer trajectories are obtained and analyzed.
