Focal mechanics and disaster characteristics of the 2024 M 7.6 Noto Peninsula Earthquake,Japan

On January 1,2024,a devastating M 7.6 earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula,Ishikawa Prefecture,Japan,resulting in significant casualties and property *** information from the first six days after the earthquake,this article analyzes the seismic source characteristics,disaster situation,and emergency response of this *** results show:1)The earthquake rupture was of the thrust type,with aftershock distribution showing a north-east-oriented belt-like feature of 150 km.2)Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)and Interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR),observations detected significant westward to north-westward co-seismic displacement near the epicenter,with the maximum horizontal displacement reaching 1.2 m and the vertical uplift displacement reaching 4 m.A two-segment fault inversion model fits the observational data well.3)Near the epicenter,large Peak Ground Velocity(PGV)and Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA)were observed,with the maxima reaching 145 cm/s and 2681 gal,respectively,and the intensity reached the highest level 7 on the Japanese(Japan Meteorological Agency,JMA)intensity standard,which is higher than level 10 of the United States Geological Survey(USGS)Modified Mercalli Intensity(MMI)standard.4)The observation of the very rare multiple strong pulse-like ground motion(PLGM)waveform poses a topic worthy of research in the field of earthquake engineering.5)As of January 7,the earthquake had left 128 deaths and 560 injuries in Ishikawa Prefecture,with 1305 buildings completely or partially destroyed,and had triggered a chain of disasters including tsunamis,fires,slope failures,and road ***,this paper summarizes the emergency rescue,information dissemination,and other disaster response and management measures taken in response to this *** work provides a reference case for carrying out effective responses,and offers lessons for handling similar events in the future.

Ammonia pyrolysis oxidation excited by nanosecond pulsed discharge:Global/fluid models hybrid solution

The kinetic characteristics of plasma-assisted oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia are studied by using the global/fluid models hybrid solution ***,the stable products of plasma-assisted oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia are *** results show that the consumption of NH3/O2and the production of N2/H2change linearly with the increase of voltage,which indicates the decoupling of nonequilibrium molecular excitation and oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia at low ***,the detailed reaction kinetics mechanism of ammonia oxidative pyrolysis stimulated by a nanosecond pulse voltage at low pressure and room temperature is *** on the reaction path analysis,the simplified mechanism is *** detailed and simplified mechanism simulation results are compared with experimental data to verify the accuracy of the simplified ***,based on the simplified mechanism,the fluid model of ammonia oxidative pyrolysis stimulated by the nanosecond pulse plasma is established to study the pre-sheath/sheath behavior and the resultant consumption and formation of key *** results show that the generation,development,and propagation of the pre-sheath have a great influence on the formation and consumption of *** consumption of NH3by the cathode pre-sheath is greater than that by the anode pre-sheath,but the opposite is true for OH and O（1S）.However,within the sheath,almost all reactions do not ***,by changing the parameters of nanosecond pulse power supply voltage,it is found that the electron number density,electron current density,and applied peak voltages are not the direct reasons for the structural changes of the sheath and ***,the discharge interval has little effect on the sheath structure and gas mixture *** research results of this paper not only help to understand the kinetic promotion of non-equilibrium excitation in the process of oxidative pyrolysis but also help to explore th

＜正＞Objective To evaluate the clinical outcome of arthroscopically assisted debridement and tibiotalar arthrodesis with half-ring sulcated external fixator for the treatment of end-stage ankle joint tuberculosis （TB）. Type of study: Retrospective study of surgical outcomes. Methods 10 patients of end-stage ankle TB （male, 6;female, 4;mean age, 33 years;range, 28 to 56 years） were treated with arthroscopically assisted debridement and tibiotalar arthrodesis using a half-ring sulcated external fixator. All patients received gold standard of anti-TB drug treatment for at least 3 weeks preoperatively and for at least one year postoperatively. All patients began to walk with partial weight bearing 4 days postoperatively and full weight bearing after the joint was fused. The external fixator was removed at that point. The clinical results were assessed with the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Score. Results All patients were assessed both clinically and radiologically at a mean follow-up of 23.2 months （range, 6 to 46 months）. Clinical and radiological fusion rates were both 100%. The mean time to clinical and radiographic bone fusion was 14.5 weeks （8 - 20 weeks）. The AOFAS score was 66 at the last follow-up. No complications occurred. Conclusion Arthroscopically assisted debridement and tibiotalar arthrodesis with half-ring sulcated external fixator for the treatment of end-stage ankle joint TB is a safe and effective procedure with a high rate of fusion, short fusion time without any complications.

It's a challenge for detecting the therapeutic targets of a polypharmacological drug from variations in the responsed networks in thedfferentiated populations with complex diseases,as stable coronary heart ***,in an adaptive,31-center,randomized,double-blind trial invoving 920 patients with moderate symptomatic stable angina treated by 14-day Danhong injection(DHI),a kind of polyphamacological drug with high quality control,or placebo(0.9%saline),with 76-day following-up,we firstly confrmed that DHl couldincrease the proportion of patients with clinically significant changes on angina-frequency assessed by Seattle Angina Questionnaire(ASAQ-AF220)(12.78%at Day 30,95%confidence interval[C]5.86-19.71%,P=0.0003,13.82%at Day 6C0,95%CI 6.82-20.82%,P=0.0001and 8.95%at Day 90,95%CI 2.06-15.85%,P=0.01).We also found that there were no significant differences in new-onset major vascularevents(P=0.8502)and serious adverse events(P=0.9105)between DHl and *** performing the RNA sequencing in 62 selectedpatients,we developed a systemic modular approach tp identfy differentilly expressed modules(DEMs)of DHI with the Z_(summay)valueless than 0 compared with the control group,calculated by weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA),and sketched out thebasic framework on a modular map with 25 functional modules targeted by ***,the effective therapeutic module(ETM),defined as the highest corelation value with the phenotype alteration(SAQ-AF,the change in SAQ-AF at Day 30 from baseline)calculatedby WGCNA,was identifed in the population with the best effect(ASAQ-AF240),which is related to anticoagulation and regulation ofcholesterol *** assessed the modular flexbility of this ETM using the global topological D value based on Euclidean distance,which is corelated with phenotype alteration(r^(2):0.8204,P=0.019)by linear *** study identified the ant-angina therapeuticmodule in the effective population treated by the multi-target
