An aqueous BiI_(3)-Zn battery with dual mechanisms of Zn^(2+)(de)intercalation and I^(-)/I_(2)redox

The development of aqueous battery with dual mechanisms is now arousing more and more interest.The dual mechanisms of Zn^(2+)(de)intercalation and I^(-)/I_(2)redox bring unexpected effects.Herein,differing from previous studies using Zn I_(2)additive,this work designs an aqueous Bi I_(3)-Zn battery with selfsupplied I^(-).Ex situ tests reveal the conversion of Bi I_(3)into Bi(discharge)and Bi OI(charge)at the 1st cycle and the dissolved I^(-)in electrolyte.The active I^(-)species enhances the specific capacity and discharge medium voltage of electrode as well as improves the generation of Zn dendrite and by-product.Furthermore,the porous hard carbon is introduced to enhance the electronic/ionic conductivity and adsorb iodine species,proven by experimental and theoretical studies.Accordingly,the well-designed Bi I_(3)-Zn battery delivers a high reversible capacity of 182 m A h g^(-1)at 0.2 A g^(-1),an excellent rate capability with 88 m A h g^(-1)at 10 A g^(-1),and an impressive cyclability with 63%capacity retention over 20 K cycles at 10 A g^(-1).An excellent electrochemical performance is obtained even at a high mass loading of 6 mg cm^(-2).Moreover,a flexible quasi-solid-state Bi I_(3)-Zn battery exhibits satisfactory battery performances.This work provides a new idea for designing high-performance aqueous battery with dual mechanisms.

A Line Complex-Based Evolutionary Algorithm for Many-Objective Optimization

In solving many-objective optimization problems(MaO Ps),existing nondominated sorting-based multi-objective evolutionary algorithms suffer from the fast loss of selection pressure.Most candidate solutions become nondominated during the evolutionary process,thus leading to the failure of producing offspring toward Pareto-optimal front with diversity.Can we find a more effective way to select nondominated solutions and resolve this issue?To answer this critical question,this work proposes to evolve solutions through line complex rather than solution points in Euclidean space.First,Plücker coordinates are used to project solution points to line complex composed of position vectors and momentum ones.Besides position vectors of the solution points,momentum vectors are used to extend the comparability of nondominated solutions and enhance selection pressure.Then,a new distance function designed for high-dimensional space is proposed to replace Euclidean distance as a more effective distancebased estimator.Based on them,a novel many-objective evolutionary algorithm(MaOEA)is proposed by integrating a line complex-based environmental selection strategy into the NSGAⅢframework.The proposed algorithm is compared with the state of the art on widely used benchmark problems with up to 15 objectives.Experimental results demonstrate its superior competitiveness in solving MaOPs.

Lithium batteries have always played a key role in the field of new energy sources.However,non-controllable lithium dendrites and volume dilatation of metallic lithium in batteries with lithium metal as anodes have limited their development.Recently,a large number of studies have shown that the electrochemical performances of lithium batteries can be enhanced through the regulation of external physical fields.Especially,it significantly hinders the growth of lithium dendrites and promoting the reaction kinetics.This review summarizes recent innovations in the investigation of various physical fields of lithium batteries.The application of magnetic field in the synthesis of lithium battery electrode materials is introduced.The influence factors and regulation mechanism of various physical fields on the electrochemical performance of lithium batteries are reviewed emphatically.In addition,the current research status and existing challenges,along with future directions for the evolution of lithium batteries,are minutely discussed and prospected.New strategies for the further evolution of lithium batteries have also been provided.

High-throughput genome editing in rice with a virus-based surrogate system

With the widespread use of clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated nuclease(Cas) technologies in plants, large-scale genome editing is increasingly needed. Here, we developed a geminivirus-mediated surrogate system, called Wheat Dwarf Virus-Gate(WDV-surrogate), to facilitate high-throughput genome editing.WDV-Gate has two parts: one is the recipient callus from a transgenic rice line expressing Cas9 and a mutated hygromycin-resistant gene(HygM) for surrogate selection;the other is a WDV-based construct expressing two single guide RNAs(sgRNAs) targeting HygM and a gene of interest, respectively. We evaluated WDV-Gate on six rice loci by producing a total of 874 T_0 plants. Compared with the conventional method, the WDV-Gate system, which was characterized by a transient and high level of sgRNA expression, significantly increased editing frequency(66.8% vs. 90.1%), plantlet regeneration efficiency(2.31-fold increase), and numbers of homozygous-edited plants(36.3%vs. 70.7%). Large-scale editing using pooled sg RNAs targeting the SLR1 gene resulted in a high editing frequency of 94.4%, further demonstrating its feasibility. We also tested WDVGate on sequence knock-in for protein tagging.By co-delivering a chemically modified donor DNA with the WDV-Gate plasmid, 3xFLAG peptides were successfully fused to three loci with an efficiency of up to 13%. Thus, by combining transiently expressed sgRNAs and a surrogate selection system, WDV-Gate could be useful for high-throughput gene knock-out and sequence knock-in.

Uniformity and energy evaluation of equal cross-section ventilation system(ECVS)for long tunnel in underground buildings

Uniform ventilation is important for the safety of long tunnel in underground buildings,it is difficult to install the large size air duct to ensure the centerline of each cross-section of the traditional variable cross-section ventila-tion system(VCVS)superimposed on the same horizontal axis,which is significant to the ventilation uniformity,energy consumption and installation convenience of the VCVS.On the contrary,each cross-section of the Equal Cross-section Ventilation System(ECVS)has the same horizontal axis,therefore,it is more convenient to manu-facture and install the large size air duct in the underground long tunnel and achieve uniform ventilation.This study proposes an ECVS,using computational fluid dynamics(CFD)numerical simulation analyzed the influences of main duct velocity,aspect ratio,and outlet numbers on uniformity and energy consumption per unit air vol-ume(ECPV).It revealed that when each ventilation equalizer’s valve Angle𝛽is given,uniformity of air supply decreases slightly with an increase in the inlet velocity.When the air supply main duct aspect ratio increases,the outlet velocity standard deviation range is from 0.22 to 0.34.When outlet numbers N=7~12 and𝛽are constant,air supply uniformity and resistance coefficient𝜉also decrease with the decrease of outlet numbers.The outlet number has a significant influence on the uniformity of system air supply,main duct velocity,and aspect ratio are relatively small.ECPV is positively correlated with the main duct velocity and outlet number,and is negatively correlated with aspect ratio.

衣钵,是佛教传法的一个重要象征物。来到异文化之地传法的禅宗初祖达摩,为使禅宗传法有个“信体”,不得不“于相”,借助于衣钵这一“外相”,作为法脉正宗的一个物象符号。但物象一旦与权力或名利挂钩,即使佛门也会起争端,甚至起杀心。所以惠能得到真传的衣钵后,几番遗弃这个作为法脉正宗的“信体”,人人追索的法衣宝钵。他试图通过对“外相”的抽离(“离相”),抛弃阻碍“悟入”的迷心之障,不假外物,“以心传心”,进入觉知“本来真性”的境界,从而进入“无相”之道———领悟关于生命意义、社会规律和世界真相。

Zimberelimab plus chemotherapy as the first-line treatment of malignant peritoneal mesothelioma:A case report and review of literature

BACKGROUND Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma(MPeM)is a rare cancer with a poor prognosis at advanced stage,and the standard first-line treatment for inoperable patients is chemotherapy.Although combining programmed cell death 1(PD-1)inhibitors with chemotherapy is generally considered safe and effective in several malignant solid tumors,there are few reports regarding initial immunochemotherapy in advanced MPeM.CASE SUMMARY Here,to our knowledge,we present the first case of a patient with epithelioid subtype MPeM,who was treatment-naïve and benefited from initial PD-1 inhibitor plus standard chemotherapy with a prolonged progression-free survival(PFS)and good tolerance.A 49-year-old man was admitted to our hospital for a persistent burning sensation in the abdomen.Computed tomography revealed a solid mass in the lower abdomen,which was subsequently diagnosed histologically as epithelioid subtype MPeM by core needle biopsy.The patient received eight cycles of pemetrexed 800 mg(day 1),cisplatin 60/50 mg(day 1–2),and zimberelimab(PD-1 inhibitor)240 mg(day 1)every 3 wk.He achieved significant reduction of peritoneal tumors with remarkable improvement in symptoms.The best tumor response was partial remission with a final PFS of 7 mo.No immunerelated adverse event occurred during the combination treatment.CONCLUSION The outcome of the present case demonstrates the promising anti-tumor activity of immunochemotherapy to treat inoperable MPeM in the future.

在国际形势日趋复杂严峻、能源战略转型尚在攻坚、国内农产品自给率明显偏低的背景下,本文立足商品与股票市场探究国际油价跳跃对中国农业部门的冲击效应。结果表明,当期油价跳跃显著降低农产品与农业类股市收益,而上期油价跳跃的影响则恰好相反。在控制市场联动及其他潜在因素影响后,结论依然成立。由于商品与股票市场均具有较强的金融属性,这一结论意味着国际油价跳跃会增强市场投机,从而对国内农产品与农业类股市产生动态冲击。因此,在风险预警与调控机制趋于完备、能源结构转型大体完成之前,仍需对国际油价极端震荡保持警惕;而在事关国计民生的农业领域,资本市场对外开放亦需循序渐进,以确保农产品市场与农业类股市相对稳定。

Electrode materials for aqueous multivalent metal-ion batteries: Current status and future prospect

In recent years,the pursuit of high-efficiency electrochemical storage technology,the multivalent metalion batteries (MIBs) based on aqueous electrolytes have been widely explored by researchers because of their safety,environmental friendliness,abundant reserves and low price,and especially the merits in energy and power densities.This review firstly expounds on the problems existing in the electrode materials of aqueous multivalent MIBs (Zn^(2+),Mg^(2+),Al^(3+),Ca^(2+)),from the classical inorganic materials to the emerging organic compounds,and then summarizes the design strategies in bulk and interface structure of electrodes with favorable kinetics and stable cycling performance,especially laying the emphasis on the charge storage mechanism of cathode materials and dendrite-free Zinc anode from the aspect of electrolyte optimization strategies,which can be extended to other aqueous multivalent MIBs.Ultimately,the possible development directions of the aqueous multivalent MIBs in the future are provided,anticipating to provide a meaningful guideline for researchers in this area.
