Treadmill exercise in combination with acousto-optic and olfactory stimulation improves cognitive function in APP/PS1 mice through the brain-derived neurotrophic factor-and Cygb-associated signaling pathways

A reduction in adult neurogenesis is associated with behavioral abnormalities in patients with Alzheimer's ***,enhancing adult neurogenesis represents a promising therapeutic approach for mitigating disease symptoms and ***,nonpharmacological interventions aimed at inducing adult neurogenesis are currently *** individual non-pharmacological interventions,such as aerobic exercise,acousto-optic stimulation,and olfactory stimulation,have shown limited capacity to improve neurogenesis and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease,the therapeutic effect of a strategy that combines these interventions has not been fully *** this study,we observed an age-dependent decrease in adult neurogenesis and a concurrent increase in amyloid-beta accumulation in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice aged 2-8 *** deposition became evident at 4 months,while neurogenesis declined by 6 months,further deteriorating as the disease ***,following a 4-week multifactor stimulation protocol,which encompassed treadmill running(46 min/d,10 m/min,6 days per week),40 Hz acousto-optic stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),and olfactory stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),we found a significant increase in the number of newborn cells(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive cells),immature neurons(doublecortin-positive cells),newborn immature neurons(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/doublecortin-positive cells),and newborn astrocytes(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells).Additionally,the amyloid-beta load in the hippocampus *** findings suggest that multifactor stimulation can enhance adult hippocampal neurogenesis and mitigate amyloid-beta neuropathology in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 ***,cognitive abilities were improved,and depressive symptoms were alleviated in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice

This study presents a novel method to fabricate metal-decorated,sulfur-doped layered double hydroxides （m/SLDH） through spontaneous redox and sulfurization *** developed Ag/SLDH and Pt/SLDH catalysts with abundant heterogeneous interfaces and hierarchical nanostructures demonstrated outstanding oxygen evolution reaction （OER） and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） performance,achieving low overpotentials of 212 and 35 mV at 10 mA cm-2in 1 m KOH,*** both anode and cathode in water splitting,they required only 1.47 V to reach 10 mA cm-2and exhibited high structural robustness,maintaining stability at 1000 mA cm-2for 300 ***-situ Raman analysis revealed that the synergistic effects of metal nanoparticles and S doping significantly promote the transformation into the S-Co1-xFexOOH layer,which serves as the active phase for water ***,ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy （UPS） and density functional theory （DFT） analyses indicated that incorporating metal nanoparticles and S doping increase electron density near the Fermi level and reduce reaction energy barriers,thus enhancing intrinsic OER and HER *** study provides a scalable strategy for synthesizing high-performance electrocatalysts for water splitting,with promising potential for broader applications.

Location of Asymmetric Ground Fault Using Virtual Injected Current Ratio and Two-stage Recovery Strategy in Distribution Networks

Sparse measurements challenge fault location in distribution *** paper proposes a method for asymmetric ground fault location in distribution networks with limited measurements.A virtual injected current vector is formulated to estimate the fault line,which can be reconstructed from voltage sags measured at a few buses using compressive sensing(CS).The relationship between the virtual injected current ratio(VICR)and fault position is deduced from circuit analysis to pinpoint the ***,a two-stage recovery strategy is proposed for improving reconstruction accuracy of the current vector,where two different sensing matrixes are utilized to improve the *** proposed method is validated in IEEE 34 node test *** results show asymmetric ground fault type,resistance,fault position and access of distributed generators(DGs)do not significantly influence performance of our *** addition,it works effectively under various scenarios of noisy measurement and line parameter *** on 134 node test feeders prove the proposed method is also suitable for systems with more complex structure.

A Special Kind of Interplanetary Coronal mass Ejection

It is generally believed that coronal mass ejections(CmEs) have magnetic flux rope structures because of their helical shapes. However, only about 30%–40% of interplanetary CmEs(ICmEs) have a local magnetic flux rope structure. The usual explanations are that the spacecraft only crossed the flank of the ropes and failed to detect the complete magnetic flux rope structure or that some processes destroyed these magnetic flux rope structures. Several studies suggest that some ICmEs inherently possess disordered magnetic fields and consequently exhibit no magnetic flux-rope structures. We introduce a special kind of ICmE which has a low magnetic field magnitude and stable magnetic field direction, relatively fast expansion speed, and lower proton temperature and density. All three of the measured magnetic field components are relatively stable. We want to know whether these ICmEs also have magnetic flux rope structures or not. We identified 20 special ICmEs and analyzed their evolution based on their observed characteristics. We took a special ICmE as an example, which had an apparent rope configuration at 1 au but evolved to a special ICmE at 5.4 au, to illustrate that this kind of ICmE could come from magnetic clouds(mCs) whose rope structure had been being stretched due to expansion. We inferred that the missing obvious flux rope structure may be due to the expansion of mCs, not the flank crossing effect. However, more than 50% of the events were associated with the dominant x-component of the magnetic field, which indicates a leg ***, the detection of part of these special ICmEs may also be the result of the leg-crossing effect.

PHYSICAL SImULATION OF CONTINUOUS ROLL CASTING PROCESS

A series of simulating experimental studies on the rheological behavior and its influential factors of aluminum alloy in continuous roll-casting process have been explored in this paper with a Gleeble-1500 Thermal-mechanical Simulation Tester and a set of special clamp system. Relevant rheological rules in the process of coupling transient solidification and continuous deformation of roll-casting conditions are obtained. Experimental results indicate that four different characteristic stages exist in the whole rheological process, and relative constitutive models suitable for the given conditions of continuous roll casting process have been established through multivariable linear regression analysis of the experimental data.

EFFECT OF LASER INPUT ENERGY ON AuSn_x INTERmETALliC COmPOUNDS FORmATION IN SOLDER JOINTS WITH DIFFER-ENT THICKNESS OF Au SURFACE FINISH ON PADS

Formation of AuSnx intermetallic compounds （ImCs） in laser reflowed solder joints was investigated. The results showed that few ImCs formed at the solder/0. 1μm Au interface. Needlelike AuSn4 ImCs were observed at the solder/0.5μm Au interface. In Sn-2.0Ag-O,75Cu-3,0Bi and Sn-3.5Ag-O.75Cu solder joints, when the laser input energy was increased, AuSn4 ImCs changed .from a layer to needlelike or dendritic distribution at the solder/0.9μm Au interface. As for the solder joints with 4.0 μm thickness of Au surface finish on pads, AuSn4 , AuSnx, AuSn ImCs, and Au2Sn phases formed at the interface. moreover, the content of AuSnx ImCs, such as, AuSn4 and AuSn2, which contained high Sn concentration, would become larger as the laser input energy increased. In the Sn-37Pb solder joints with 0.9 μm or 4.0 μm thickness of the Au surface finish on pads, AuSn4 ImCs were in netlike distribution. The interspaces between them were filled with Pb-rich phases.

A novel friction stir diffusion bonding process using convex-vortex pin tools

In this work,a novel friction stir diffusion bonding(FSDB)method was proposed to eliminate hook when joining thin *** tools,with several convex-vortex pins were innovatively designed to improve the diffusion bonding effect of the lap *** showed that sound joints,excellently bonded at the lap interface and without hook,were *** lap interfaces on the joints welded using the T-tool and F-tool almost remained intact,thereby indicating that they were formed by diffusion *** material flow behavior was also simulated by FLUENT software and the results showed that the material flow along thickness was significantly enhanced by increasing the pin *** joint welded by the T-tool showed shear fracture *** bonding was formed at the lap interface when using the F-tool and thus the joint showed tensile fracture.

China has been developed into one of the most active regions in terms of both fundamental and applied research on magnesium （mg） and its alloys in the world from a solid base laid by its prominent metallurgist and materials scientists over the past decades. Nowadays, a large number of young-generation researchers have been inspired by their predecessors and become the key participants in the fields of mg alloys, which consequently led to the establishment of China Youth Scholar Society for magnesium Alloys Research in 2015. Since then, the first two China Youth Scholars Symposiums on mg Alloys Research had been held at Harbin （2015） and Chongqing （2016） China, respectively. A number of crucial research inter- ests related to fundamental and applied mg research were discussed at the conferences and summarized in this short perspective, aiming to boost far-reaching initiatives for development of new mg-based materials to satisfy the requirements for a broad range of industrial employments. Herein, four main aspects are included as follows： i） Plastic deformation mechanism and strengthening strategy, ii） Design and development of new mg-based materials, iii） Key service properties, and iv） New processing technologies.

Zonal flows self-generated by turbulence play an important role in regulating turbulence,reducing transport level,and thus improve plasma confinement in fusion *** zonal flows and geodesic acoustic modes have been identified in various *** related issues,such as the poloidal and toroidal symmetries,coupling to turbulence,effects on turbulence and transport,nonlinear energy transfer between turbulence and zonal flows,dependence of the plasma parameters,roles in the confinement regime transitions etc are overviewed briefly in this *** interaction between zonal flows and magnetic islands is emphasized.
