The single-phase face-centered cubic(fcc)-structured Fe_(50)Mn_(27)Ni_(10)Cr_(13) high entropy alloy(HEA)exhibits good ductility but low strength,which presents a *** Mo-alloying and thermomechanical treatments,we have designed the(Fe_(50)Mn_(27)Ni_(10)Cr_(13))_(100-x)Mo_(x)(x=0-6 at.%)alloy series with a wide range of mechanical *** careful control of secondary phases introduced in the cold-rolled and annealed(Fe_(50)Mn_(27)Ni_(10)Cr_(13))Mo_(2) sample resulted in an enhanced tensile strength from 250 Mpa to 665 Mpa,still having~25%*** investigations of this alloy revealed the presence of deformation twins,dislocation cells,and ordered bcc na no-pa rticles embedded in the ductile fcc matrix *** observed deformation structures are an indication of succes s ful cooperation between deformation twinning and precipitation strengthening in enhancing the tensile strength at maintained ductility compared to its cast *** work provides insight into the tunability of the mechanical properties of non-equiatomic HEAs via alloying and thermomechanical processing.

Nondestructive cryogenically thermal cycling has been a simple but effective treatment to enhance mechanical properties of glassy ***,how the structural heterogeneities on nanometer scales are affected by thermal cycling is still an ***,we report the response of spatial heterogeneities in three selected Ti_(41)Zr_(25)Be_(28)Fe_(6),Zr_(56)Co_(14)Cu_(14)Al_(16)and Zr_(42)Y_(14)Co_(22)Al_(22)(at.%)metallic glasses(MGs)with different compositions to the thermal cycling,which show significantly different structure and properties after the same treatments and could be ascribed to the joint contribution of relaxation and rejuvenation induced by thermal *** rejuvenation is initially prevailed in a Zr-Y-containing MG,whereas the relaxation is dominant in a Cu-Co-containing MG,both eventually entering into a dynamic equilibrium *** employing nanometer-scale structural models,the intrinsic correlation between the spatial heterogeneity and thermal cycling is *** discovery could provide the fundamental understanding of the role of spatial heterogeneity in influencing the macroscopic properties of MGs via thermal cycling and help design high-performance glassy materials by tailoring their atomic structures with suitable thermal treatments.

Tensile elastic behavior of bulk Zr46（Cu4.5/5.5Ag1/5.5）46Al8 metallic glass was experimentally investigated. It exhibited linear and non-linear time-independent elastic deformation with a demarcative stress of approximately 500 Mpa within the timescale in the present work, and repeated loading-unloading before yielding did not alter stress-strain relationship. The pure linear elastic strain limit is 0.6%, significantly lower than 2% as generally reported, but still much higher than 0.1% observed for typical crystalline alloys. Deviation from linear elastic behavior at stresses higher than 500 Mpa is explained here as a macroscopic manifestation of local fluctuations in elastic strain, which becomes pronounced at stresses higher than the critical value. The occurrence of non-linear elasticity is possibly also related to the sinusoidal relationship between shear stress and atomic displacement.

In this paper, the authors design a reinforcement learning algorithm to solve the adaptive linear-quadratic stochastic n-players non-zero sum differential game with completely unknown dynamics. For each player, a critic network is used to estimate the q-function, and an actor network is used to estimate the control input. A model-free online q-learning algorithm is obtained for solving this kind of problems. It is proved that under some mild conditions the system state and weight estimation errors can be uniformly ultimately bounded. A simulation with five players is given to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Ultrasound sensors play an important role in biomedical imaging,industrial nondestructive inspection,*** ultrasound sensors that use piezoelectric transducers face limitations in sensitivity and spatial resolution when miniaturized,with typical sizes at the millimeter to centimeter *** overcome these challenges,optical ultrasound sensors have emerged as a promising alternative,offering both high sensitivity and spatial *** particular,ultrasound sensors utilizing high-quality factor(q)optical microcavities have achieved unprecedented performance in terms of sensitivity and bandwidth,while also enabling mass production on silicon *** this review,we focus on recent advances in ultrasound sensing applications using three types of optical microcavities:Fabry-perot cavities,π-phase-shifted Bragg gratings,and whispering gallery mode *** provide an overview of the ultrasound sensing mechanisms employed by these microcavities and discuss the key parameters for optimizing ultrasound ***,we survey recent advances in ultrasound sensing using these microcavity-based approaches,highlighting their applications in diverse detection scenarios,such as photoacoustic imaging,ranging,and particle *** goal of this review is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the latest advances in ultrasound sensing with optical microcavities and their potential for future development in high-performance ultrasound imaging and sensing technologies.

The mechanical response of a single crystal titanium sample against(0001)α surface impact was investigated using molecular dynamics ***,non-uniform plastic deformation was observed in the *** high strain rates,amorphization occurred near the edge of the contact region where severe shear strain induced a large number of stacking faults(SFs)and *** contrast,the central part of the contact region underwent less deformation with significantly fewer ***,instead of amorphization by consuming SFs and dislocations,there was a gradual increase in the density of dislocations and SFs during the process of *** local amorphous regions eventually grew into shear bands.

The multi-wavelength optical switch based on an all-dielectric metastructure consisting of four asymmetric semi-circular rings was designed and analyzed in this *** Fano resonance modes,which can be explained by bound states in the continuum(BIC)theory,are excited in our structure with a maximum q-factor of about 2450 and a modulation depth close to 100%.By changing the polarization direction of the incident light,the transmission amplitude of Fano resonances can get effectively *** on this tuning property,the metastructure can achieve a multi-wavelength optical switch in the near-infrared region(900—980 nm)and the maximum extinction ratio can reach 38.3 d *** addition,the results indicate that the Fano resonances are sensitive to the changes in the refractive *** sensitivity(S)and the figure of merit(FOM)are 197 nm/RIU and 492 *** proposed metastructure has promising potential in applications such as optical switches,sensors,modulators and lasers.

The Maclaurin symmetric mean(MSM) operator exhibits a desirable characteristic by effectively capturing the correlations among multiple input parameters, and it serves as an extension of certain existing aggregation operators through adjustments to the parameter k. The hesitant q-rung orthopair set(Hq-ROFSs) can serve as an extension of the existing orthopair fuzzy sets, which provides decision makers more freedom in describing their true opinions. The objective of this paper is to present an MSM operator to aggregate hesitant q-rung orthopair numbers and solve the multiple attribute decision making(MADM) problems in which the attribute values take the form of hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets(H-qROFSs). Firstly, the definition of H-qROFSs and some operational laws of H-qROFSs are proposed. Then we develop a family of hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy maclaurin symmetric mean aggregation operators, such as the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFMSM) operator, the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFWMSM) operator, the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy dual maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFDMSM) operator, the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted dual maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFWDMSM) operator. And the properties and special cases of these proposed operators are studied. Furthermore, an approach based on the Hq-ROFWMSM operator is proposed for multiple attribute decision making problems under hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment. Finally,a numerical example and comparative analysis is given to illustrate the application of the proposed approach.
