Fire is one of the major disasters in rural communities but evidence of the effectiveness of education interventions against fire risks is limited. This was a 2-year study assessed the effectiveness of face-to-face Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management(HealthEDRM) education interventions for raising fire risk reduction knowledge in a fire-prone rural ethnic minority community. The study was conducted in various pre-set time points of an intervention-based project in a Dongbased community in Nanjiang Village, Guizhou Province in 2015 and 2016 to increase knowledge among the villagers about how to reduce general-and electrical-fire risks. Pre-and post-intervention questionnaires were used to evaluate the effectiveness of increasing fire risk-related knowledge through these interventions, immediately after the 2015 and 2016 interventions, and 17 months after the 2015 intervention. The knowledge of using fire blanket,recalling the correct emergency telephone number,unplugging unused electrical appliances, and not using water to extinguish electrical fires had immediately improved after the interventions. Subjects demonstrated a better understanding that fire blankets can fight a blaze if used appropriately, and that knowledge was sustained for 17 months. The interventions were effective in improving fire prevention and response knowledge. Targeted interventions should be organized according to communities' culture, the evolution of economic prosperity and lifestyle practices.

基于机器视觉的人体粪便图像识别与分类技术研究

功能性胃肠病和慢性消化系统疾病的诊断在临床上很大程度上依赖于对人体粪便进行外观视觉检查。然而,传统常规的人工粪便检测只能在医院内进行,且存在过程繁琐耗时、缺乏客观的测量方式等问题,导致容易造成误诊误判。因此,本文研究的宗旨在于设计一种自动人体粪便外观检测方法,用于初步筛查患者的胃肠道健康状况,一方面能够让患者及早发现疾病,或达到“未病预防”与“治未病”的目的,另一方面可以减轻医护人员的负担。本文以机器视觉技术为基础,运用深度学习领域在图像识别方面的优势,提出了一种人体粪便图像识别与分类技术。该技术是以系统的方式实现对图像中的粪便进行自动识别与分类,具体过程分为三步:首先通过图像语义分割模型U-Net生成掩码,然后与对应的原图合并来提取粪便区域,最后利用深层图像分类模型Res Ne Xt-50基于改良的布里斯托粪便分类法(Bristol Stool Form Scale,BSFS)对预处理后的粪便图像进行性状分类。两个算法模型都是用本文建立的粪便图像数据集进行训练,实验结果表明,U-Net分割算法的平均像素准确度(mean Pixel Accuracy,m PA)可达96.28%,平均交并比(mean Intersection over Union,m Io U)可达93.75%;Res Ne Xt-50分类模型的粪便性状分类准确率可达93.90%,曲线下的面积(Area Under Curve,AUC)最高可达到0.994,在预测能力方面表现良好。最后,结合目前智能马桶的发展趋势,将本文提出的人体粪便图像识别与分类系统应用在多功能护理轮椅床的智能马桶中,方便患者或用户在如厕排便时同时进行粪便外观检测,免去了采集粪便样本的过程,并可有效辅助专业医生制定更合适合理的诊断治疗方案。通过对系统在智能马桶的应用场景中进行模拟测试,结果证明了系统的粪便区域分割模块和粪便性状分类模块在真实环境中可以正常使用,并能够满足可行性、可靠性以及准确性的要求。

应用微阵列-比较基因组杂交（microarray comparative genomic hybridization，aCGH）技术检测基因拷贝数变异（copy number variation，CNV）可对染色体亚微结构异常进行定位，在研究领域和临床实验室中迅速成为一个了解基因和患者遗传病因的有力的工具。由于它在产前诊断上的应用时间较短，目前对aCGH是否可以作为产前诊断工具及其潜在的不确定性存在比较大的争议。此外，对于大多数CNV的表型效应还知之甚少，因此，临床医生向患者进行解释的难度很大，导致许多临床医生拒绝以临床诊断为目的使用aCGH。根据已知的与临床疾病密切相关的一些区域定制的寡核苷酸芯片应运而生，可以降低这种不确定性，在过量信息和信息量不足之间寻求到了一个平衡。本综述的目的是从临床医生的角度探讨aCGH技术用于产前诊断所面临的问题和应用前景。

The SARS-CoV-2 infection causes severe immune ***,it is unclear if disrupted immune regulation still exists and pertains in recovered COVID-19 *** our study,we have characterized the immunephe no type of B cells from 15 recovered COVID-19 patients,and found that healthy controls and recovered patients had similar B-cell populations before and after BCR stimulation,but the frequencies of PBC in patients were significantly increased when compared to healthy controls before ***,the percentage of unswitched memory B cells was decreased in recovered patients but not changed in healthy controls upon BCR ***,we found that CD19 expression was significantly reduced in almost all the B-cell subsets in recovered ***,the BCR signaling and early B-cell response were disrupted upon BCR ***,we found that the reduced CD19 expression was caused by the dysregulation of cell *** conclusion,we found that SARS-CoV-2 infection causes immunodeficiency in recovered patients by downregulating CD19 expression in B cells via enhandng B-cell metabolism,which may provide a new intervention target to cure COVID-19.

Intraocular pressure(IOP) is a major risk factor for glaucoma. Genetic determinants of intraocular pressure can provide critical insights into the genetic architecture of glaucoma and, as a result, open new avenues for therapeutic intervention. We performed a genome-wide association study and replication analysis of 8,552 Chinese participants. In the genome-wide association study, we identified 51 loci that surpassed the significance of P<9×10^(-7), and we formally replicated these loci. A combined discovery and replication meta-analysis identified 21 genome-wide loci that surpassed the genome-wide significance of P<5×10^(-8), including 4 previously reported loci: rs145063132(7 p21.2, ETV1/DGKB), rs548030386(7 q31.2, ST7 near CAV1/CAV2), rs7047871(9 p24.2, GLIS3), and rs2472494(9 q31.1, ABCA1/SLC44 A1). Of the 17 newly identified loci, five were reported to have ocular related phenotypes: PTCH2(rs7525308 in 1 p34.1), LRIF1/DRAM2(rs1282146 in 1 p13.3), COLEC11(rs201143466 in 2 p25.3),SPTBN1(rs4514918 in 2 p16.2), and CRK(rs11078446 in 17 p13.3). The genetic loci identified in this study not only increase our understanding of the genes involved in intraocular pressure but also provide important genetic markers to improve future genetic screening and drug discovery for intraocular pressure disorders.

BACKGROUND Cetuximab in combination with oral fluoropyrimidine(FP)remains controversial in metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC).In view of the regional variation in the tolerability of FP,we conducted a retrospective analysis to compare oral FP with infusional FP in combination with cetuximab in Chinese *** To compare the efficacy and safety profile of cetuximab in combination with oral FP and infusional FP in Chinese population in the real-world *** A retrospective cohort study was done to analyse consecutive patients with Kras wild-type mCRC who received first-line treatment with cetuximab and FP-based chemotherapy in our unit from January 2010 to December ***-five eligible patients were *** median follow-up of our cohort was 65.0 *** The median progression-free survival(mPFS)and median overall survival(mOS)of the entire cohort were 9.66 mo(95%CI:7.72–12.5)and 25.8 mo(95%CI:18.7–35.6),*** oral FP and infusional FP,there was no statistical significant difference in the mPFS[9.79 mo(95%CI:7.49–12.7)vs 9.63 mo(95%CI:6.34–13.4);P=0.72]and mOS[25.8 mo(95%CI:15.2–35.6)vs 26.3 mo(95%CI:18.7–41.2);P=0.63].Grade 3 or above adverse events were reported in 28.4%of patients,being similar with oral and infusional FP,and included 10.5%of neutropenia and 2.1%of diarrhoea *** The current analysis demonstrates comparable efficacy and safety profiles of cetuximab in combination with oral and infusional FP in Chinese *** results expand treatment options for Chinese patients and invite revision of existing treatment guidelines to incorporate oral FP-based chemotherapy plus cetuximab.

Hong Kong female's breast cancer awareness measure: Cross-sectional survey

BACKGROUND In women worldwide, breast cancer is the most common cancer. Breast cancer accounted for 26.6% of all new cancers in females diagnosed in 2015 in Hong *** To examine women's awareness, perception, knowledge, and screening practice of breast cancer in Hong *** We carried out a population-based survey using random telephone interviews to women aged 18 or above using the United Kingdom Cancer Research Breast Cancer Awareness Measure(United Kingdom CAM). The data was analysed using proportions, chi-square test(χ~2-test) and adjusted odds ratios(ORs).RESULTS A total of 1000 participants completed the CAM questionnaire from 1,731 responses(response rate = 57.8%) from September to October 2017. One in five and one in four respondents recalled ≥ 3 early warning signs and ≥ 2 risk factors of breast cancer respectively. The majority(62.6%) reported they were not confident that they would notice a change in their breasts. Among the respondents, 16.8% would have regular mammography at least every two *** general, 4 in 10 women had tried practices on preventing breast *** with better result in recalling breast cancer signs and symptoms were more likely to seek immediate medical help when noticed a change in their breasts(χ2-test P = 0.038), and more likely had tried prevention practice(χ~2-test P< 0.001). Respondents received higher education(secondary school or above) had higher breast cancer awareness(OR = 2.83, CI: 1.61-4.97), more frequent screening(OR = 2.64, CI: 1.63-4.26) and more had tried prevention practices(OR = 2.80, CI:1.96-4.02) when compared to those with lower education.
