Metronidazole(MTZ)loaded Eudragit S-100(ES-100)nonwoven nanofbrous mats were successfully electrospun and evaluated for intestinal drug *** was varied in the range of 1–15%(w/w)in ES-100 nanofbrous mats,the morphological characterization of nanofbrous mats was carried out using FE-SEM and the average diameter of nanofber was found in the range 150–600 *** and DSC demonstrated the amorphous nature of MTZ in ES-100 nanofbrous *** contact angle analysis confrmed the hydrophobic *** mechanical strength of ES-100 nanofbrous mats decreased with increasing MTZ *** drug release profles showed 74%MTZ release from ES-100d within 2 h at pH 6.8 which is the colonic *** activities against gram-positive bacteria(Staphylococcus aureus)and gramnegative bacteria(Escherichia coli)showed that the ES-100 nanofbrous mats loaded with MTZ exhibited good activity.

Objective:To examine the effects of hydroalcoholic extract and fractions of Hordeum vulgare Linn.(***,Da Mai)on streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic nephropathy in Sprague-Dawley rat ***:The study involved preliminary phytochemical screening of extract and fractions,estimation of secondary metabolites,chromatographic studies using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),antioxidant potential using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH),nitric oxide radical scavenging and reducing power methods along with the determination of potential against diabetic nephropathy in STZ-induced rat ***:The phytochemical evaluation of the hydroalcoholic extract of *** and fractions revealed the presence of various phytoconstituents such as alkaloids,saponins,tannins,flavonoids,and *** chromatographic analysis indicated the peak complementing marker compound epicatechin and significant antioxidant activity in the extract and aqueous ***-induced rats showed abnormal levels of serum albumin,creatinine,total cholesterol,blood urea nitrogen(BUN),and triglycerides,and urine albumin and creatinine,which returned to normal after 8 weeks of treatment with hydroalcoholic extract(400 mg/kg)and aqueous fraction(50 mg/kg)of ***:Hydroalcoholic extract(400 mg/kg)and aqueous fraction(50 mg/kg)of *** have significant antioxidant potential and positive effects on diabetic *** fractionation and optimization increase the concentration of polyphenols in aqueous extract,causing a decrease in the dose required for effects against diabetic nephropathy.

Background:Neuroplasticity is a phenomenon exhibited by our nervous system as an indicator of overall development and in response to training,injury/loss of particular function,treatment/drugs and as a result of stimulation from the surrounding ***:The aim of the current study was to assess the auditory working memory capacities in Bharatanatyam ***:The participants comprised fifty-four females with normal hearing sensitivity who belonged to two ***-I consisted of 27 individuals who underwent formal training in Bharatanatyam for a minimum period of three ***-II consisted of the age-matched control group,consisting of 27individuals who were *** auditory working memory tasks included arranging the English digits presented binaurally in forward,backward,ascending,and descending *** maximum values(for the length of sequence arranged),midpoint values(average score),and response time for each task were noted down and compared among ***:The scores were compared using the Mann-Whitney U test,which revealed enhanced working memory exhibited by dancers for maximum values and midpoint scores for all three tasks except ascending *** was also noted that the dancers exhibited a shorter response time compared to nondancers for all the tasks except ascending ***:The current study highlights an enhanced auditory working memory capacity in Bharatanatyam dancers,which could be perceived as evidence of neuroplastic changes induced in the auditory and motor cortex as a consequence of extensive stimulation for auditory processing abilities and motor planning resulting from long-term dance training and regular practice.

Deep learning long short-term memory combined with discrete element method for porosity prediction in gravel-bed rivers

The porosity of gravel riverbed material often is an essential parameter to estimate the sediment transport rate, groundwater-river flow interaction, river ecosystem, and fluvial geomorphology. Current methods of porosity estimation are time-consuming in simulation. To evaluate the relation between porosity and grain size distribution(GSD), this study proposed a hybrid model of deep learning Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) combined with the Discrete Element Method(DEM). The DEM is applied to model the packing pattern of gravel-bed structure and fine sediment infiltration processes in threedimensional(3D) space. The combined approaches for porosity calculation enable the porosity to be determined through real time images, fast labeling to be applied, and validation to be done. DEM outputs based on the porosity dataset were utilized to develop the deep learning LSTM model for predicting bed porosity based on the GSD. The simulation results validated with the experimental data then segregated into 800 cross sections along the vertical direction of gravel pack. Two DEM packing cases, i.e., clogging and penetration are tested to predict the porosity. The LSTM model performance measures for porosity estimation along the z-direction are the coefficient of determination(R~2), root mean squared error(RMSE), and mean absolute error(MAE) with values of 0.99, 0.01, and 0.01 respectively, which is better than the values obtained for the Clogging case which are 0.71, 0.14, and 0.03, respectively. The use of the LSTM in combination with the DEM model yields satisfactory results in a less complex gravel pack DEM setup, suggesting that it could be a viable alternative to minimize the simulation time and provide a robust tool for gravel riverbed porosity prediction. The simulated results showed that the hybrid model of the LSTM combined with the DEM is reliable and accurate in porosity prediction in gravel-bed river test samples.

In the next generation of computing environment e-health care services depend on cloud *** Cloud computing environment provides a real-time computing environment for e-health care *** these services generate a huge number of computational tasks,real-time computing and comes with a deadline,so conventional cloud optimizationmodels cannot fulfil the task in the least time and within the *** overcome this issue many resource optimization meta-heuristic models are been proposed but these models cannot find a global best solution to complete the task in the least time and manage utilization with the least simulation *** order to overcome existing issues,an artificial neural-inspired whale optimization is proposed to provide a reliable solution for healthcare *** this work,two models are proposed one for reliability estimation and the other is based on whale optimization technique and neural network-based binary *** predictive model enhances the quality of service using performance metrics,makespan,least average task completion time,resource usages cost and utilization of the *** as compared to existing algorithms the proposedANN-WHOalgorithms prove to improve the average start time by 29.3%,average finish time by 29.5%and utilization by 11%.

Airway management of morbidly obese patients is challenging due to inherent anatomical and physiological variations.[1]The frequent association of compromised hemodynamics,hypoxemia,or acidosis in an emergency department(ED)setting adds to the difficulty of the *** airway management position(RAMP),awake fiber-optic guided intubation,use of intubating laryngeal mask airway(ILMA),and video-laryngoscope are a few techniques that have been described to tackle difficult airways in these patients.[2]Studies have shown that the availability of fi ber-optic scopes(3%–60%),videolaryngoscopes(39%–88%),and laryngeal mask airways(LMA)(65%–83%)varies in different ED settings.[3,4]Furthermore,a lack of adequate training and the need for time-bound resuscitation make implementation of the above techniques challenging.

The importance of cryptocurrency to the global economy is increasing steadily,which is evidenced by a total market capitalization of over$2.18T as of December 17,2021,according to ***(Coin,2021).Cryptocurrencies are too confusing for laymen and require more *** this study,we analyze the impact that the effective reproductive rate,an epidemiological indicator of the spread of COVID-19,has on both the price and trading volume of eight of the largest digital currencies—Bitcoin,Ethereum,Tether,Ripple,Litecoin,Bitcoin Cash,Cardano,and *** hypothesize that as the rate of spread decreases,the trading price of the digital currency *** Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity models,we find that the impact of the spread of COVID-19 on the price and trading volume of cryptocurrencies varies by currency and *** findings offer novel insight into the cryptocurrency market and the impact that the viral spread of COVID-19 has on the value of the major cryptocurrencies.
