BACKGROUND Hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma(HSTCL)is a rare and aggressive peripheral T-cell lymphoma with historically dismal outcomes,representing less than one percent of non-Hodgkin *** its rarity,the true incidence of HSTCL is unknown and most data have been extrapolated through case *** the best of our knowledge,the largest and most up to date study addressing the epidemiology and outcomes of patients with HSTCL in the United States covered a period from 1996 to 2014,with a sample size of 122 *** To paint the most updated epidemiological picture of *** A total of 186 patients diagnosed with HSTCL,between 2000 and 2017,were ultimately enrolled in our study by retrieving data from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results *** analyzed demographics,clinical characteristics,and overall mortality(OM)as well as cancer-specific mortality(CSM)of *** with a P value<0.01 in the univariate Cox regression were incorporated into the multivariate Cox model to determine the independent prognostic factors,with a hazard ratio of greater than 1 representing adverse prog-nostic *** Overall,the outlook for this rare malignancy is very *** this retrospective cohort study of the United States population,non-Hispanic blacks and the elderly had a higher *** data highlights the need for larger prospective studies to investigate factors associated with worse prognosis in one ethnic group,such as treatment delays,which have been shown to increase mortality in this racial/ethnic group for other cancers.

Planning and scheduling is one of the most important activity in supply chain operation *** the years,there have been multiple researches regarding planning and scheduling which are applied to improve a variety of supply *** includes two commonly used methods which are mathematical programming models and heuristics *** manufacturing systems are seen normally in industrial environments but few have considered certain constraints such as transportation capacity and transportation time within their supply chain.A two-stage flowshop of a single processing machine and a batch processing machine are considered with their capacity and transportation time between *** objectives of this research are to build a suitable mathematical model capable of minimizing the maximum completion time,to propose a heuristic optimization algorithm to solve the problem,and to develop an applicable program of the heuristics *** Integer Programming(MIP)model and a heuristics optimization algorithmwas developed and tested using a randomly generated data set for *** overall results and performance of each approach was compared between the two methods that would assist the decision maker in choosing a suitable solution for their manufacturing line.

Recent laser upgrades at Sandia's Z-backlighter facility in order to accommodate new requirements for magnetized liner inertial fusion on the Z-machine

The Z-backlighter laser facility primarily consists of two high energy, high-power laser systems. Z-Beamlet laser(ZBL)(Rambo et al., Appl. Opt. 44, 2421(2005)) is a multi-kJ-class, nanosecond laser operating at 1054 nm which is frequency doubled to 527 nm in order to provide x-ray backlighting of high energy density events on the Z-machine. Z-Petawatt(ZPW)(Schwarz et al., J. Phys.: Conf. Ser. 112, 032020(2008)) is a petawatt-class system operating at 1054 nm delivering up to 500 J in 500 fs for backlighting and various short-pulse laser experiments(see also Figure 10 for a facility overview). With the development of the magnetized liner inertial fusion(MagLIF) concept on the Z-machine, the primary backlighting missions of ZBL and ZPW have been adjusted accordingly. As a result, we have focused our recent efforts on increasing the output energy of ZBL from 2 to 4 kJ at 527 nm by modifying the fiber front end to now include extra bandwidth(for stimulated Brillouin scattering suppression). The MagLIF concept requires a well-defined/behaved beam for interaction with the pressurized fuel. Hence we have made great efforts to implement an adaptive optics system on ZBL and have explored the use of phase plates. We are also exploring concepts to use ZPW as a backlighter for ZBL driven MagLIF experiments. Alternatively, ZPW could be used as an additional fusion fuel pre-heater or as a temporally flexible high energy pre-pulse. All of these concepts require the ability to operate the ZPW in a nanosecond long-pulse mode, in which the beam can co-propagate with ZBL. Some of the proposed modifications are complete and most of them are well on their way.

在编写《FloraofChina》五加科Araliaceae时,发现两个新种,即拟榕叶罗伞BrassaiopsispseudoficifoliaLowry&***和光华鹅掌柴SchefflerazhuanaLowry&***。前者与榕叶罗伞***很相似,其区别在于,叶裂片数目较多,花序上具较多的伞形花序,花序轴具刺,主要分布于云南,广西偶见。后者与白花鹅掌柴***.相似,其区别在于,子房心皮数目较多,果时具明显的萼缘,花盘扁平,叶质地较薄,局限分布于西藏墨脱县。同时发现越南产的BrassaiopsisgausseniiBui和中国产的细序鹅掌柴***、球序鹅掌柴***均不能成立,处理为异名。

A Multi-match Approach to the Author Uncertainty Problem

Purpose: The ability to identify the scholarship of individual authors is essential for performance evaluation. A number of factors hinder this endeavor. Common and similarly spelled surnames make it difficult to isolate the scholarship of individual authors indexed on large databases. Variations in name spelling of individual scholars further complicates matters. Common family names in scientific powerhouses like China make it problematic to distinguish between authors possessing ubiquitous and/or anglicized surnames(as well as the same or similar first names). The assignment of unique author identifiers provides a major step toward resolving these difficulties. We maintain, however, that in and of themselves, author identifiers are not sufficient to fully address the author uncertainty problem. In this study we build on the author identifier approach by considering commonalities in fielded data between authors containing the same surname and first initial of their first name. We illustrate our approach using three case ***/methodology/approach: The approach we advance in this study is based on commonalities among fielded data in search results. We cast a broad initial net—i.e., a Web of Science(WOS) search for a given author's last name, followed by a comma, followed by the first initial of his or her first name(e.g., a search for ‘John Doe' would assume the form: ‘Doe, J'). Results for this search typically contain all of the scholarship legitimately belonging to this author in the given database(i.e., all of his or her true positives), along with a large amount of noise, or scholarship not belonging to this author(i.e., a large number of false positives). From this corpus we proceed to iteratively weed out false positives and retain true positives. Author identifiers provide a good starting point—e.g., if ‘Doe, J' and ‘Doe, John' share the same author identifier, this would be sufficient for us to conclude these are one and the same individual. There has been a wealth of research that has examined the nature of rework in *** toward addressing the rework problem has been limited-it still plagues practice,adversely impacting a project’s *** all rework studies have focused on determining its proximal or root causes and therefore have overlooked the conditions that result from its *** filling this void,this paper draws upon our previous empirical studies,amongst others,to provide a much-needed theoretical framing to understand better why rework occurs,what its consequences are,and how it can be mitigated during *** theoretical framing we derive from our review provides construction organizations and their projects with a realization that the journey to mitigating rework begins with creating an error-mastery culture comprising authentic leadership,psychological safety,an errormanagement orientation,and *** suggest that,once an error-mastery culture is established within construction organizations and their projects,they will be better positioned to realize the benefits of the techniques,tools,and technologies espoused to address rework,such as the Last Planner® and building information *** also provide directions for future research and identify implications for practice so that strides toward rework mitigation in construction can be made.

Residual feed intake phenotype and gender affect the expression of key genes of the lipogenesis pathway in subcutaneous adipose tissue of beef cattle
