This paper is devoted to the numerical approximation of a degenerate anisotropic elliptic *** numerical method is designed for arbitrary spacedependent anisotropy directions and does not require any specially adapted coordinate *** is also designed to be equally accurate in the strongly and the mildly anisotropic *** method is applied to the Euler-Lorentz system,in the drift-fluid *** system provides a model for magnetized plasmas.

In this article, the analytical homogenization method of periodic discrete media（HPDM）and the numerical condensed wave finite element method（CWFEM） are employed to study the longitudinal and transverse vibrations of framed structures. The valid frequency range of the HPDM is re-evaluated using the wave propagation feature identified by the CWFEM. The relative error of the wavenumber by the HPDM compared to that by the CWFEM is illustrated in functions of frequency and scale ratio. A parametric study on the thickness of the structure is carried out where the dispersion relation and the relative error are given for three different thicknesses. The dynamics of a finite structure such as natural frequency and forced response are also investigated using the HPDM and the CWFEM.

The distribution and marketing of petroleum products are the sources of energy for the various activities of human society and household supply. We spent our time researching the competitive factors to reduce the time of distribution of petroleum products, by setting up a computer system based on Dijkstra’s algorithm our contribution will solve a real problem of delivery with direct targeting of gas stations. We set up a tool to help to map based on the method of operational research starting with the identification of delivery point, mapping and then applying the algorithm. Mainly the graph theory and the optimal path in a network by a short path using the method of Dijkstra for the design we used the UML language, the programming we used the JAVA language with very appreciable results to finish with a conclusion.

Retrospective and Prospective Study on Injuries during Coital Accidents at the Central Hospital of Yaounnde: A Study of 23 Cases

Introduction: A penile fracture is the traumatic rupture of the turnica albuginea of one of both cavernous bodies of an erect penis. It is a urologic emergency in young adults. The objective of our study is to determine the epidemiologic, clinical, and therapeutic aspects and evaluate the complications at the Yaounde Central Hospital (YCH). Methodology: It was a cross-sectional retrospective and descriptive study, carried out for a period of five years, from 2015 to 2020, followed by a prospective phase for a period of 1 year, from December 2020 to 2021 at the Urology Unit of Yaounde Central Hospital. Results: Our study involved 23 patients. The mean age was 34 ± 4 years with extremes of 23 - 65 years. Married men were the most involved, with 16 cases (69.6%). The majority of patients presented for consultation within the first 6 hours (60.9%). The mean delay time before the consultation was 5 [3 - 24] hours, with extreme values of 1 - 72 hours. Sitting position during sexual intercourse was mainly found (56.5% of cases), while alcohol consumption was the main environmental risk factor found (47.8% of cases). Penile pain (100.0%) and deformation of the penile shaft (91.3%) were the most encountered symptom during admission. The frequency of cavernosa involement was 87.0%. The injury was partial in the majority of cases (95.0%), involving both corpus cavernosa (55.0%) and mostly on the right (60.0%). The mean management delay was 5 hours standard deviation [5 - 7], with extremes of 2 - 48 hours. The intra-cavernous hematoma was the essential per-operative finding in all the operated cases (100.0%). Most patients resumed sexual intercourse 2 - 3 months following management (65.3% of cases). After one year of treatment, 78.3% of patients declared satisfactory sexual activity. Conclusion: Penile fracture is an anthological emergency in young adults. The management is essentially surgical. Functional prognosis depends on the promptitude of surgical intervention.

Pygeum africanum （Tadenan） is a popular phytotherapeutic agent used in the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia. The active compounds of the drug have not been identified, and determining the plasma concentration of the drug is, therefore, not possible. Because there are conflicting results on the efficacy of this drug, we aimed to investigate its effect on prostate cell growth in vitro using human serum collected before and after Pygeum africanum intake. We used primary and organotypic cultures of human prostatic stromal myofibroblast cell line WPMY and prostatic epithelial cell line PNT2. We also used fresh benign prostatic tissue. The serum of a treated man induced decreases in the proliferation of primary cells, organotypic cells and WPMY cells but not PNT2 cells. We also analysed the effect of treated serum on the gene expression profile of WPMY cells. The transcriptome analysis revealed an upregulation of genes involved in multiple tumour suppression pathways and a downregulation of genes involved in inflammation and oxidative-stress pathways. The oral intake of Pygeum africanum resulted in serum levels of active substances that were sufficient to inhibit the proliferation of cultured myofibroblasts prostatic cells. Aim: Radical prostatectomy started in TOGO for nearly a decade. We purposed to evaluate the indications, technique and result obtained by this practical in our context. Methods: Descriptive retrospective study over 6 years, involves patients who underwent radical prostatectomy in the urology andrology department of the Sylvanus Olympio University Hospital in Lomé. Results: In 6 years, 24 radical prostatectomies were performed on 209 patients with prostate cancer (prevalence 12.92%). The average age of the patients was 63.8 ± 4.2 years. The average PSA rate was 27.9 ± 21.2 ng/ml. 58.3% were at high risk for d’Amico. The retropubic route with ilio-obturator lymph node dissection was the technique used for all patients. 80.9% of patients were continent and 33.3% had a satisfactory erection 12 months after the surgery. Recurrence-free survival at 1 year was 62.5% and 3 deaths or 12.5% were recorded in the first year in high-risk patients. Conclusion: Radical prostatectomy maintains its place of choice in the treatment of localized or locally advanced prostate cancer. It improves recurrence-free survival.

Introduction: Twisting of the spermatic cord is part of urological emergencies. It can occur at any age with a predilection for children and adolescents. There is no literature on spermatic cord torsion in octogenarians, probably due to its rarity. The majority of recent studies show spermatic cord torsion in patients under 55 years of age. This is why we present a case of spermatic cord torsion in an 80 years old subject. Case Presentation: We present a case of torsion of the spermatic cord in an 80-year-old subject. The diagnosis was made on anamnestic and clinical grounds. The patient presented with scrotal pain, unilateral, of sudden onset, violent intensity without urinary signs with an ascended testicle. The urine dipstick was unremarkable. Management was done surgically and as an emergency. The postoperative course was satisfactory. Conclusion: Spermatic cord torsion in octogenarians is exceptional and should be suspected in the first instance in the presence of any sudden onset, severe testicular pain without urinary signs with an ascended testicle and a negative urine dipstick.
