Breast cancer is a heterogeneous and complex disease with different situations of threat to their patients, which can cause psychological discomfort, anxiety and a depressed state in women. The aim of this study was to analyze the performance of nursing to psychological repercussions on living with breast cancer. This is a descriptive and cross-sectional study with qualitative characteristics. It was conducted with professional nurses in Basic Health Units (UBS) in the municipality of Juazeiro do Norte-CE, Northeast of Brazil, located in the region of Cariri. The study began to be developed after the approval of the Research Ethics Committee, CAAE: 50809315.8. 0000.5624. Data collection occurred through a semi-structured interview. For the interpretation of the results, the technique of content analysis was used. The results showed that nurses realize that emotional support, care and assistance in coping, improve the construction of a good performance of the professional nurse. However, it is possible to realize the need for information and qualified assistance by multidisciplinary team to these patients and even their family members. It was identified as difficulty in assisting the denial of patient to start the treatment, but the facility is in the intimacy that the professional nurse can engage with the customer. It highlighted the care through dialogue and health education. And, finally, the nurse is aware of such importance of his/her role when supporting the patient. Thus, the improvement of professional assistance was evidenced as regards emotional support, reception, qualified listening, health education measures leading to self-knowledge, self-esteem and acceptance of the disease and the creation of bonds with the patients.

Elevation transition of aquatic insects closely matches a thermal feature in the Yungas of Northwestern Argentina

This research investigates the arsenic concentrations in 96 soil samples from a regency in Indonesia using a statistical *** samples were collected from three depth layers(topsoil[10e20 cm],subsoil[50e60 cm],and deep soil[90e100 cm]),with each layer consisting of 32 *** analysis using SPSS was employed to analyze potential arsenic sources based on the proximity of study locations to geothermal system areas,land use,distance from industry,and the presence of study locations on fault *** findings indicate that the potential source of arsenic contamination in the soil are suspected to be associated with geothermal system activities and the presence of soil samples on fault *** arsenic concentration in locations near to the geothermal system(5-10 km)was 45 times higher(oR=45,95%CI=45e362.57,pound to be 3.828 times higher in study areas situated on fault zones(oR=3.828,95%CI=1.507e9.719,ponally,the research suggests that arsenic in the soil may also originate from anthropogenic activities,such as agriculture and industry,as the highest concentrations were found in subsoil or topsoil layers compared to deep *** variation in arsenic concentration from highest to lowest in agricultural soil layers was subsoil>topsoil>deep soil,whereas in residential soil,it was subsoil>deep soil>*** arsenic concentration variation at near distances from industrial areas was topsoil>subsoil>deep soil,contrasting with medium to far distances from industry(subsoil>deep soil>topsoil).Therefore,these findings can be utilized to prioritize remediation efforts and provide input for future research on arsenic contamination in the region.

Halide perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have already demonstrated power conversion efficiencies above 25%,which makes them one of the most attractive photovoltaic ***,one of the main bottlenecks towards their commercialization is their long-term stability,which should exceed the 20-year *** engineering is an effective pathway for the enhancement of device *** applied as organic or inorganic compounds,improve crystal grain growth enhancing power conversion *** interaction of their functional groups with the halide perovskite(HP)absorber,as well as with the transport layers,results in defect passivation and ion immobilization improving device performance and *** this review,we briefly summarize the different types of additives recently applied in PSC to enhance not only efficiency but also long-term *** discuss the different mechanism behind additive engineering and the role of the functional groups of these additives for defect *** emphasis is given to their effect on the stability of PSCs under environmental conditions such as humidity,atmosphere,light irradiation(UV,visible)or heat,taking into account the recently reported ISoS *** also discuss the relation between deep-defect passivation,non-radiative recombination and device efficiency,as well as the possible relation between shallow-defect passivation,ion immobilization and device operational ***,insights into the challenge and criteria for additive selection are provided for the further stability enhancement of PSCs.

Autoimmune pancreatitis has received considerable attention,especially due to the marked effect of corticosteroid therapy on its clinical ***,especially regarding type 1 autoimmune pancreatitis,has significantly increased over the last decades,and despite significant differences in pathophysiology and outcomes,both type 1 and 2 autoimmune pancreatitis are still considered different types of the same *** have proposed a different nomenclature reflecting these *** the term steroid-responsive pancreatitides may be interpreted as synonymous to type 1 and 2 autoimmune pancreatitis,these are not the only pancreatic conditions that show a response to steroid *** pancreatitis caused by vasculitis and connective tissue diseases and acute pancreatitis secondary to checkpoint inhibitors or programmed cell death receptor antibody-mediated blockage cancer therapy may also benefit from steroid *** review presents current concepts on these disorders,aiming to increase awareness,analyze similarities and differences,and propose a new nomenclature that reflects their specific particularities,clustering them under the term"steroid-responsive pancreatitides".

Active control and experiment study of a flexible hub-beam system

The first-order approximation coupling （FoAC） model was proposed recently for dynamics and control of flexible hub-beam systems. This model may deal with system dynamics for both low and high rotation speed, while the classical zeroth-order approximation coupling （ZoAC） model is only available for low rotation speed. This paper assumes the FoAC model to present experimental study of active positioning control of a flexible hub-beam system. Linearization and nonlinear control strategies are both considered. An experiment system based on a DSP TMS320F2812 board is introduced. The difference between linearization and nonlinear control strategies are studied both numerically and experimentally. Simulation and experimental results indicate that, linearized controller can make the system reach an expected position with suppressed vibration of flexible beam, but the time taken to position is longer than expected, whereas nonlinear controller works well with precise positioning, suppression of vibration and time control.

Periodontal and inflammatory bowel diseases: Is there evidence of complex pathogenic interactions?

Periodontal disease and inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) are both chronic inflammatory diseases. Their pathogenesis is mediated by a complex interplay between a dysbiotic microbiota and the host immuneinflammatory response, and both are influenced by genetic and environmental factors. This review aimed to provide an overview of the evidence dealing with a possible pathogenic interaction between periodontal disease and IBD. There seems to be an increased prevalence of periodontal disease in patients with IBD when compared to healthy controls, probably due to changes in the oral microbiota and a higher inflammatory response. Moreover, the induction of periodontitis seems to result in gut dysbiosis and altered gut epithelial cell barrier function, which might contribute to the pathogenesis of IBD. Considering the complexity of both periodontal disease and IBD, it is very challenging to understand the possible pathways involved in their coexistence. In conclusion, this review points to a complex pathogenic interaction between periodontal disease and IBD, in which one disease might alter the composition of the microbiota and increase the inflammatory response related to the other. However, we still need more data derived from human studies to confirm results from murine models. Thus, mechanistic studies are definitely warranted to clarify this possible bidirectional association.

Influence of Aging and 2-hydroxyethyl-methacrylate Content on the Color Stability of Experimental 2-hydroxyethyl-methacrylate-added Dental Glass Ionomers

Color stability of dental resin modified glass ionomer （RMGI） has been a challenge to dentistry; therefore, systematic changes in 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate （HEMA） content were performed experimentally to find an idea to enhance the color stability. Changes in color （△E＊ab） and color coordinates （△L＊, △a＊ and △b＊） of experimental 10-50 wt pct HEMA-added dental glass ionomers （HAGIs） and corresponding RMGIs were determined after 5000 cycles of thermocycling. Color changes of HAGIs were not influenced by the HEMA content while △L＊, △a＊ and △b＊ values were influenced by the HEMA content. Color stability of 30% or 40% HEMA-added HAGIs was not different from those of the commercial RMGIs. Since the influence of HEMA itself on the color stability of HAGIs was limited, compositional modification to increase the color stability of these materials should be developed.

Separation of organic mixture is an inevitable process in most modern industrial processes. In the quest for a more sustainable and efficient separation, solvent-resistant nanofiltration(SRNF) has emerged as a promising answer. This is because SRNF is a membrane-based process which offers the key advantages of high efficacy and low energy intensity separation. In particular, polymer-based membranes can offer compelling opportunities for SRNF with unprecedented cost-effectiveness. As a result, intensive research efforts have been devoted into developing novel polymer-based membranes with solvent-resistant capacities as well as exploring potential applications in different types of industries. In this review, we aim to give an overview of the recent progress in the development of the state-of-the-art polymer-based membranes for SRNF in the first section. Emerging nanomaterials for mixed matrix and thin film nanocomposite membranes are also covered in this section. This is followed by a discussion on the current status of membrane engineering and SRNF membrane commercialization. In the third section, we highlight recent efforts in adopting SRNF for relevant industrial applications such as food, bio-refinery, petrochemical, fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries followed by separations of enantiomers in stereochemistry, homogeneous catalysis and ionic liquids. Finally, we offer a perspective and provide deeper insights to help shape future research direction in this very important field of SRNF.

Automatic Detection of CoVID-19 Infection Using Chest X-Ray Images Through Transfer Learning

The new coronavirus(CoVID-19),declared by the World Health organization as a pandemic,has infected more than 1 million people and killed more than 50 *** infection caused by CoVID-19 can develop into pneumonia,which can be detected by a chest X-ray exam and should be treated *** this work,we propose an automatic detection method for CoVID-19 infection based on chest X-ray *** datasets constructed for this study are composed of194 X-ray images of patients diagnosed with coronavirus and 194 X-ray images of healthy *** few images of patients with CoVID-19 are publicly available,we apply the concept of transfer learning for this *** use different architectures of convolutional neural networks(CNNs)trained on Image Net,and adapt them to behave as feature extractors for the X-ray ***,the CNNs are combined with consolidated machine learning methods,such as k-Nearest Neighbor,Bayes,Random Forest,multilayer perceptron(MLP),and support vector machine(SVM).The results show that,for one of the datasets,the extractor-classifier pair with the best performance is the Mobile Net architecture with the SVM classifier using a linear kernel,which achieves an accuracy and an F1-score of 98.5%.For the other dataset,the best pair is Dense Net201 with MLP,achieving an accuracy and an F1-score of 95.6%.Thus,the proposed approach demonstrates efficiency in detecting CoVID-19 in X-ray images.
