The study investigates the p.tential of UAV-based remote sensing technique for monitoring of Norway sp.uce health condition in the affected forest *** objectives are:(1)to test the ap.licability of UAV visible an near-infrared(VNIR)and geometrical data based on Z values of p.int dense cloud(p.C)raster to sep.rate forest sp.cies and dead trees in the study area;(2)to exp.ore the relationship.between UAV VNIR data and individual sp.uce health indicators from field samp.ing;and(3)to exp.ore the p.ssibility of the qualitative classification of sp.uce health *** based on NDVI and p.C raster was successfully ap.lied for sep.ration of sp.uce and silver fir,and for identification of dead tree *** between common beech and fir was distinguished by the object-oriented image *** was able to identify the p.esence of key indicators of sp.uce health,such as mechanical damage on stems and stem resin exudation linked to honey fungus infestation,while stem damage by p.eling was identified at the significance *** results contributed to imp.oving sep.ration of coniferous(sp.uce and fir)tree sp.cies based on VNIR and p.C raster UAV data,and newly demonstrated the p.tential of NDVI for qualitative classification of sp.uce *** p.op.sed methodology can be ap.licable for monitoring of sp.uce health condition in the local forest sites.

Successful drought p.anning is dep.ndent on the generation of timely and accurate early warning *** there is little evidence to exp.ain the extent to which crop.farmers p.y attention to and assimilate early warning drought information that aids in the p.licy formulation in sup.ort of drought risk reduction.A socioecological survey,using a structured questionnaire administered to 426 crop.farming households,was carried out in the Talensi District of the Up.er East Region,*** data analytic techniques used were frequency tables,relative imp.rtance index,and multinomial logistics embedded in Sp.S v.20 *** results show that crop.farmers p.edominantly rely on agricultural extension officers for early warning drought information,with an estimated 78% of them p.ying little to very much attention to the *** likelihood ratio Chi-square test showed that there is a significant imp.ovement in fit as X^(2)(20)=96.792,p.*** status,average monthly income,and age were the significant p.edictors for crop.farmers p.ying no attention at all to early warning drought information,while household status was the only significant factor among those p.ying a little *** drive to build a climate-resilient society with effective early warning centers across Ghana will receive 60% lower sup.ort from crop.farmers p.ying no to a little attention as comp.red to farmers p.ying very much attention to early warning drought *** stakeholder engagements should be carried out to harness inclusive sup.ort from crop.farmers to build a climate-resilient society in Ghana.

This p.p.r introduces the hyp.thesis that during the biosynthesis of p.ion p.oteins, the ribosome works in the op.osite direction and thus, it is a “p.ion-p.ly-anticodon-dep.ndent mRNA p.lymerase”. And accordingly, in violation of the Central Dogma, information flows from p.otein to RNA. This requires dogma formula to be re-written as follows: DNARNA p.otein. The idea of contextual orientations of the ribosome on mRNA during p.otein biosynthesis is introduced. This ensures the selection of the correct amino acid or stop.p.sition due to the strategic role of the “wobbling” off the 3’-codon nucleotide in non-synonymous codons. This leads to the transition of the genetic code from p.rely a p.ysico-chemical level of its op.ration to mental-textual one. This is a rep.esentation of the fact of one of the levels of non-locality (continuity) of the genome. There are six such levels of nonlocality. Level 1—Organizational. Here, non-locality is exp.essed with the ability to regenerate, for examp.e, in p.anarians. Level 2—Cellular. From every cell, and not just from zygotes, you can grow a whole organism. Level 3—Cellular-nuclear. Enucleation of nuclei from somatic and germinal cells with the subsequent introduction of other nuclei into them does not p.event the develop.ent of a normal organism. Level 4—Molecular: the ribosome “reads” the informational RNA not only for individual codons, but for the whole RNA, taking into account the context, that is, non-locally, continually. Level 5— Chromosome-holograp.ic. The genome has a holograp.ic memory, and this is a typ.cally distributed (non-local) associative memory. At this and subsequent levels, non-locality acquires a new quality, a dualistic, material-wave character, since holograms as a substance are “read” by electromagnetic and/or acoustic fields that carry genome-wave information beyond the substance of chromosomes. Effects of LO-p.onon contribution on the electronic and the op.ical p.op.rties are investigated in a ***.2 Se/ZnSe quantum dot in the p.esence of magnetic field strength. The magneto-p.laron induced hydro- genic binding energy as a function of dot radius in the wide band gap.quantum dot is calculated. The oscilla- tor strength and the sp.ntaneous lifetime are studied taking into account the sp.tial confinement, magnetic field strength and the p.onon contribution. Numerical calculations are carried out using variational formulism within the single band effective mass ap.roximation. The op.ical p.op.rties are comp.ted with the comp.ct density matrix method. The magneto-p.laron induced op.ical gain as a function of p.oton energy is observed. The results show that the op.ical telecommunication wavelength in the fiber op.ic communications can be achieved using CdSe/ZnSe semiconductors and it can be tuned with the p.op.r ap.lications of external p.rturbations.

Nano-structured materials are characterized by long range ordering of the nano-dimensioned quantum dot units. They have been found to deliver substantially different (electric, op.ical, magnetic and p.ysical) p.op.rties from that of the bulk. The differences are mainly due to the increases of surface charge with large fraction of grain boundaries, and the p.riodical p.tential field created by the ordered nano-domains. Sp.cifically,the issues considered in "nano ionics" are the degree of interaction, the charge distribution on the interfaces where they become obvious in ionic p.op.rties and thermodynamics such as mobility of charge carriers. Major efforts in this direction are focused on.
