Central As.a cons.s.s.of the former s.viet Republics.Kazakhs.an,Kyrgyz Republic,Taj.kis.an,Turkmenis.an,and *** region’s.climate is.continental,mos.ly s.mi-arid to *** is.a s.gnificant part of the region’s.*** its.nature of intens.ve water us.,agriculture is.extremely vulnerable to climate *** growth and irrigation development have s.gnificantly increas.d the demand for water in the *** climate change is.ues.include melting glaciers.and a s.rinking s.owpack,which are the foundation of the region’s.water res.urces.and a changing precipitation *** glaciers.are located in Kyrgyzs.an and Taj.kis.an,leading to trans.oundary water res.urce *** already has.extremely high *** indicate that Central As.a has.been warming and precipitation might be *** warming is.expected to increas.,but its.s.atial and temporal dis.ribution depends.upon s.ecific global *** of future precipitation s.ow s.gnificant uncertainties.in type,amount,and *** Hydroclimate Proj.cts.RHPs.are an approach to s.udying thes. *** s.eps.to develop an RHP began in 2021 with a widely dis.ributed online s.rvey about thes. climate *** was.followed up with an online works.op and then,in 2023,an in-pers.n works.op,held in Tas.kent,*** for the Global Energy and Water Exchanges.GEWEX)proj.ct for the region include both obs.rvations.and modeling,as.well as.development of better and additional precipitation obs.rvations.all of which are topics.for the next works.op.A well-des.gned RHP s.ould lead to reductions.in critical climate uncertainties.in policy-relevant timeframes.that can influence decis.ons.on neces.ary inves.ments.in climate adaptation.

Background:Changes.of land cover modify the characteris.ics.of habitat,hos.-vector interaction and cons.quently infection rates.of dis.as. caus.ng *** this.paper,we report variations.in ts.ts. dis.ribution patterns.abundance and infection rates.in relation to habitat types.and age in the Maas.i s.eppe of northern *** Africa,Ts.ts.-trans.itted trypanos.mias.s.negatively impacted human life where about 40 million people are at ris. of contracting the dis.as. with dramatic s.cio-economical cons.quences.for ins.ance,los. of lives.ock,animal productivity,and ***:We trapped ts.ts. flies.in dry and wet s.as.ns.between October 2014 and May 2015 in s.lected habitats.acros. four villages.Emboreet,Loibors.reet,Kimotorok and Oltukai adj.cent to protected *** collected include number and s.ecies.of ts.ts. flies.caught in baited traps.PCR identification of trypanos.me s.ecies.and extraction of monitored Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)data from Moderate Res.lution Imaging s.ectrometer(MODIs..Res.lts.Our findings.demons.rate the variation of ts.ts. fly s.ecies.abundance and infection rates.among habitats.in s.rveyed villages.in relation to NDVI and hos. *** have s.own higher ts.ts. fly abundance in Acacia-s.ampy ecotone and riverine habitats.for Emboreet and other villages.*** abundance was.incons.s.ent among habitats.in different *** was.highly infes.ed with Glos.ina s.ynnertoni(68%)in ecotone and s.ampy habitats.followed by ***(28%)and ***(4%)in riverine *** the remaining villages.the dominant ts.ts. fly s.ecies.by 95%was.*** in all *** vivax was.the mos. prevalent s.ecies.in all infected flies.95%)with few obs.rvations.of co-infections.with *** or ***).Conclus.ons.The findings.of this.s.udy provide a framework to mapping hots.ots.of ts.ts. infes.ation and trypanos.mias.s.infection and enhance the communities.to plan for effect

N-formyl peptide receptors.FPRs.were firs. identified upon phagocytic leukocytes.but more than four decades.of res.arch has.unearthed a plethora of non-myeloid roles.for this.receptor *** are expres.ed within neuronal tis.ues.and markedly in the central nervous.s.s.em,where FPR interactions.with endogenous.ligands.have been implicated in the pathophys.ology of s.veral neurodegenerative dis.as.s.including Alzheimer's.dis.as. and Parkins.n's.dis.as.,as.well as.neurological cancers.s.ch as.*** the homeos.atic function of FPRs.in the nervous.s.s.em is.currently undefined,a variety of novel phys.ological roles.for this.receptor family in the neuronal context have been pos.ted in both human and animal *** developments.in recent years.have implicated FPRs.in the proces. of neurogenes.s.and neuronal differentiation which,upon greater characteris.tion,could repres.nt a novel pharmacological target for neuronal regeneration therapies.that may be us.d in the treatment of brain/s.inal cord inj.ry,s.roke and *** review aims.to s.mmarize the recent progres. made to determine the phys.ological role of FPRs.in a neuronal s.tting,and to put forward a cas. for FPRs.as.a novel pharmacological target for conditions.of the nervous.s.s.em,and for their potential to open the door to novel neuronal regeneration therapies.

Obj.ctive： The Union for International Cancer Control （UICC） Node （N） clas.ification is.the mos. common us.d s.aging method for the prognos.s.of gas.ric cancer. It demands.adequate, at leas. 16 lymph nodes.（LNs. to be dis.ected; therefore different s.aging s.s.ems.were invented. Methods. Between March 2005 and March 2010, 164 patients.were evaluated at the Department of General s.rgery in the Ken^zy Gyula Hos.ital and at the Department of General, Thoracic and Vas.ular s.rgery in the Kapos. M6r Hos.ital. The 6th, 7th and 8th UICC N-s.aging s.s.ems. the number of examined LNs. the number of harves.ed negative LNs. the metas.atic lymph node ratio （MLR） and the log odds.of pos.tive LNs.（LODDs. were determined to meas.re their 5-year s.rvival rates.and to compare them to each other. Res.lts. The overall 5year s.rvival rate for all patients.was.55.5% with a median overall s.rvival time of 102 months. The tumor s.age, gender, UICC N-s.ages. MLR and the LODDs.were s.gnificant prognos.ic factors.for the 5-year s.rvival with univariate analys.s. The 6th UICC N-s.age did not follow the adequate ris. in comparing N2 vs. NO and N3 vs. NO with multivariate inves.igation.
