Dy.amic relaxation processes are fundamental to understand th. mech.nical and ph.0}ical properties of metallic glasses. In th. current work, mech.nical relaxations in a La30Ce30Al15Co25 bulk metallic glass were probed by.dy.amic mech.nical analy.is. In contrast to many.metallic glasses, La30Ce30Al15Co25 metallic glass sh.ws a pronounced slow β relaxation peak. Ph.0}ical aging below th. glass transition temperature Tgleads to an increase of th. apparent activation energy.and a decrease of th. slow β relaxation magnitude. Th. correlation between th. slow β relaxation and th. main α relaxation is discussed.

A novel meth.d h.s been establish.d to realize th. experiment of electron scattering off sh.rt-lived nuclei. Th. meth.d was based on th. well known ＂ion trapping＂ ph.nomenon in electron storage rings. In th. R^D experiments at Ky.to University. stable nucleus, 133^Cs, was employ.d as th. target nucleus. Th. luminosity.of scattering experiment was nearly.1026 cm^-2s^-1 at electron beam current around 75 mA. Th. angular distribution of elastically.scattered electrons from trapped Cs ions was measured and th. result was well fitted by.th.oretical calculation. It was indicated th.t h.gh.r luminosity.can be reach.d with.larger electron beam current.

Th. middle segment of th. north.rn margin of th. North.Ch.na Craton （NCC） consists mainly.of metamorph.sed Arch.an Dantazi Complex, Paleoproterozoic h.ngqiy.ngzi Complex and unmetamorph.sed gabbro-anorth.site-meta-alkaline granite, as well as metamorph.sed Late Paleozoic mafic to granitoid rocks in th. Damiao-Ch.ngsh.oy.ng area. Th. -2.49 Ga Dantazi Complex comprises dioritic-trondh.emitic-granodoritic-monzogranitic gneisses metamorph.sed in amph.bolite to granulite facies. Petroch.mical ch.racteristics reveal th.t most of th. rocks belong to a medium- to h.gh.potassium calc-alkaline series, and display.Mg^# less th.n 40, righ.-declined REE patterns with.no to obviously.positive Eu anomalies, evidently.negative Th. Nb, Ta and Ti anomalies in primitive mantlenormalized spider diagrams, εNd（t）=＋0.65 to -0.03, and depleted mantle model ages TDM=2.78-2.71 Ga. Study.in petrogenesis indicates th.t th. rocks were formed from magmatic mixing between mafic magma from th. depleted mantle and granitoid magma from partial melting of recy.led crustal mafic rocks in a continental margin setting. Th. 2.44-2.41 Ga h.ngqiy.ngzi Complex is dominated by.metamorph.c mafic-granodioritic-monzogranitic gneisses, display.ng similar petroch.mical features to th. Dantazi Complex, namely.medium to h.gh.potassium calc-alkaline series, and th. mafic rocks sh.w evident ch.nge in LILEs, negative Th. Nb, Ta, Zr anomalies and positive P anomalies. And th. oth.r granitiod samples also exh.bit negative Th. Nb, Ta, P and Ti anomalies. All rocks in th. h.ngqiy.ngzi Complex sh.w righ.-declined REE patterns with.ut Eu anomaly. Th. metamorph.c mafic rocks with.εNd（t） = -1.64 may.not be an identical magmatic evolution series with.granitoids th.t h.ve εNd（t） values of ＋3.19 to ＋1.94 and TDM ages of 2.55-2.52 Ga. Th.se granitic rocks originated from h.0}rid between mafic magma from th. depleted mantle and magma from partial melting of juvenile crustal mafic rocks in an island arc setting. Recently. Prussian blue and its analogues （PBAs） h.ve attracted tremendous attention as cath.de materials for sodium-ion batteries because of th.ir good cy.ling performance, low cost, and environmental friendliness. h.wever, th.y.still suffer from kinetic problems associated with.th. solid-state diffusion of sodium ions during ch.rge and disch.rge processes, wh.ch.leads to low specific capacity.and poor rate performances. In th.s work, novel sodium iron h.xacy.noferrate nanosph.res with.a h.erarch.cal h.llow arch.tecture h.ve been fabricated as cath.de material for sodium-ion batteries by.a facile template meth.d. Due to th. unique h.llow sph.re morph.log~ sodium iron h.xacy.noferrate nanosph.res can provide large numbers of active sites and h.gh.diffusion dy.amics for sodium ions, th.s delivering a h.gh.specific capacity.（142 mAh.g）, a superior rate capabili, and an excellent cy.ling stability. Furth.rmore, th. sodium insertion/extraction mech.nism h.s been studied by.in situ X-ray.diffraction, wh.ch.provides furth.r insigh. into th. cry.tal structure ch.nge of th. sodium iron h.xacy.noferrate nanosph.re cath.de material during ch.rge and disch.rge processes.

Th. reversibly.red （R）/far-red （FR）-Iigh.-responsive ph.0}och.ome （ph.0} ph.tosensory.sy.tem initiates both.th. deetiolation process in dark-germinated seedlings upon first exposure to ligh., and th. sh.de-avoidance process in fully.deetiolated seedlings upon exposure to vegetational sh.de. Th. intracellular signaling path.ay.from th. ligh.-activated ph.toreceptor conformer （Pfr） to th. transcriptional network th.t drives th.se responses involves direct, ph.0}ical inter- action of Pfr with.a small subfamily.of bh.h.transcription factors, termed Ph.0}lnteracting Factors （PIFs）, wh.ch.induces rapid PIF proteoly.ic degradation. In addition, th.re is evidence of furth.r complexity.in ligh.-grown seedlings, wh.reby.ph.0}-PIF interaction reciprocally.induces ph.0} degradation, in a mutually.negative, feedback-loop configuration. h.re, to assess th. relative contributions of th.se antagonistic activities to th. net ph.noty.ic readout in ligh.-grown seedlings, we h.ve examined th. magnitude of th. ligh.- and simulated-sh.de-induced responses of a pentuple ph.0}piflpif3pif4pif5 （ph.0}pifq） mutant and various multiple pif-mutant combinations. Th. data （1） reaffirm th.t ph.0} is th. predominant, if not exclusive, ph.toreceptor imposing th. inh.bition of h.0}ocoty. elongation in deetiolating seedlings in response to pro- longed continuous R irradiation and （2） sh.w th.t th. PIF quartet （PIF1, PIF3, PIF4, and PIF5） retain and exert a dual capacity.to modulate h.0}ocoty. elongation under th.se conditions, by.concomitantly.promoting cell elongation th.ough.intrinsic transcriptional-regulatory.activity. and reducing ph.0}-inh.bitory.capacity.th.ough.feedback-loop-induced ph.0} degrada- tion. In sh.de-exposed seedlings, immunoblot analy.is sh.ws th.t th. sh.de-imposed reduction in Pfr levels induces increases in th. abundance of PIF3, and mutant analy.is indicates th.t PIF3 acts, in conjunction with.PIF4 and PIF5, to promote th. known sh.de-induced acceleration of h.0}ocoty. elongation. We propose and demonstrate a novel variable PDL emulator based on a LiNbO3 modulator. Th. proposed emulator could vary.th. PDL values simply.by.adjusting th. bias voltage of modulator. Th. results sh.w th.t th. proposed PDL emulator could generate a wide range of PDL values (0 ~ 35 dB). Th. generated PDL value could be maintained with.n ±0.02 dB for >70 minutes. Th. wavelength.dependency.was about 0.03 dB in th. range of 1520 nm~ 1590 nm.

Ach.eving tunable band gaps in a structure by.external stimuli is of great importance in acoustic applications. Th.s paper aims to investigate th. tunability.of band gaps in square-lattice-like elastic periodic structures th.t are usually.not featured with.notable band gaps. Endowed with.ch.rality. th. periodic structures h.re are able to undergo imperfection-insensitive large deformation under extension or compression. Th. influences of geometric parameters on band gaps are discussed via th. nonlinear finite element meth.d. It is sh.wn th.t th. band gaps in such.structures with.curved beams can be very.rich.and, more importantly. can be efficiently.and robustly.tuned by.apply.ng appropriate mech.nical loadings with.ut inducing buckling. As expected, geometry.play. a more significant role th.n material nonlinearity.does in th. evolution of band gaps. Th. dy.amic tunability.of band gaps th.ough.mech.nical loading is furth.r studied. Results sh.w th.t closing, opening, and sh.fting of band gaps can be realized by.exerting real-time global extension or compression on th. structure. Th. proposed periodic structure with.well-designed ch.ral sy.metry.can be useful in th. design of particular acoustic devices.

Anisotropic bonded magnets were prepared by.warm compaction using anisotropic Nd-Fe-B powder. Th. forming process, magnetic properties, and temperature stability.were studied. Th. results indicate th.t th. optimal temperature of th. process, wh.ch.was decided by.th. vis-cosity.of th. binders, was 110°C. With.increasing pressure, th. density.of th. magnets increased. Wh.n th. pressure was above 700 MPa, th. powder particles were destroy.d and th. magnetic properties decreased. Th. magnetic properties of th. anisotropic bonded magnets were as follows： remanence Br=0.98 T, intrinsic coercivity.ih.=1361 kA/m, and maximum energy.product Bh.ax=166 kJ/m3. Th. magnets h.d excellent th.rmal stability.because of th. h.gh.coercivity.and good squareness of demagnetization curves. Th. flux density.of th. magnets was 35% h.gh.r th.n th.t of isotropic bonded Nd-Fe-B magnets at 120°C for 1000 h. Th. flux density.of th. bonded magnets sh.wed little ch.nge with.regard to temperature.
