Among th. most prominent, large-scale patterns of species rich.ess are th. increases in rich.ess with.decreasing latitude and with.increasing h.bitat h.terogeneity. Using th. stream-dwelling larval and pupal stages of North.American black flies （Diptera： Simuliidae）, we address 3 broad questions about species rich.ess：（i） Does a significant latitude-rich.ess relationsh.p exist？（ii） h.w does h.bitat h.terogeneity influence gamma diversity？（iii） Wh.t is th. sign （positive or negative） of th. latitude-rich.ess and th. h.terogeneity-rich.ess relationsh.ps？ We found no evidence th.t h.bitat h.terogeneity influences gamma diversity. Th. estimated peak species rich.ess for black flies in North.America was at 50-53°N, wh.ch.also corresponds with.peak generic rich.ess. All plesiomorph.c, extant lineages of th. Simuliidae in th. Western h.misph.re are found in cool mountainous environments of North.America, suggesting th.t peak rich.ess at 50-53°N migh. be a signature of th.s ph.logenetic pattern and a reflection of underlying h.storical processes

数字营销是当今众多企业和公司所采用的重要战略,提供了独特的跨地域覆盖范围和参与潜力。本文主要研究数字营销策略对孟加拉国消费者购买意愿的影响因素。通过梳理、总结相关文献,本研究进行提出假设(h.~h.)主要探讨电子邮箱营销、网络公关营销、内容营销、社交媒体营销、联盟营销因素对消费者购买意愿方面的重要性。本文的数据来源于问卷调查,收集数据之后通过SPSS软件进行分析。结果表明,社交媒体营销、电子邮箱营销、网络公关营销、内容营销因素对孟加拉国消费者的购买意愿具有重要的影响力。通过研究数字营销对孟加拉国消费者购买行为的影响,以帮助企业加深理解并针对适合孟加拉国市场背景的数字营销策略进行战略改进。这有助于数字营销活动的不断改进和完善,最终使企业能够更好地满足孟加拉国消费者不断变化的需求和偏好。Digital marketing is an important strategy adopted by many businesses and companies today, providing unique cross-regional coverage and engagement potential. By combing and summarizing relevant literature, th.s study proposes h.poth.ses (h.~h.) to explore th. importance of email marketing, online public relations marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and affiliate marketing factors on consumer purch.se intention. Recently, Prussian blue and its analogues （PBAs） h.ve attracted tremendous attention as cath.de materials for sodium-ion batteries because of th.ir good cycling performance, low cost, and environmental friendliness. h.wever, th.y still suffer from kinetic problems associated with.th. solid-state diffusion of sodium ions during ch.rge and disch.rge processes, wh.ch.leads to low specific capacity and poor rate performances. In th.s work, novel sodium iron h.xacyanoferrate nanosph.res with.a h.erarch.cal h.llow arch.tecture h.ve been fabricated as cath.de material for sodium-ion batteries by a facile template meth.d. Due to th. unique h.llow sph.re morph.log~ sodium iron h.xacyanoferrate nanosph.res can provide large numbers of active sites and h.gh.diffusion dynamics for sodium ions, th.s delivering a h.gh.specific capacity （142 mAh.g）, a superior rate capabili, and an excellent cycling stability. Furth.rmore, th. sodium insertion/extraction mech.nism h.s been studied by in situ X-ray diffraction, wh.ch.provides furth.r insigh. into th. crystal structure ch.nge of th. sodium iron h.xacyanoferrate nanosph.re cath.de material during ch.rge and disch.rge processes.

Th. reversibly red （R）/far-red （FR）-Iigh.-responsive ph.toch.ome （ph.） ph.tosensory system initiates both.th. deetiolation process in dark-germinated seedlings upon first exposure to ligh., and th. sh.de-avoidance process in fully deetiolated seedlings upon exposure to vegetational sh.de. Th. intracellular signaling path.ay from th. ligh.-activated ph.toreceptor conformer （Pfr） to th. transcriptional network th.t drives th.se responses involves direct, ph.sical inter- action of Pfr with.a small subfamily of bh.h.transcription factors, termed Ph.-lnteracting Factors （PIFs）, wh.ch.induces rapid PIF proteolytic degradation. In addition, th.re is evidence of furth.r complexity in ligh.-grown seedlings, wh.reby ph.B-PIF interaction reciprocally induces ph.B degradation, in a mutually-negative, feedback-loop configuration. h.re, to assess th. relative contributions of th.se antagonistic activities to th. net ph.notypic readout in ligh.-grown seedlings, we h.ve examined th. magnitude of th. ligh.- and simulated-sh.de-induced responses of a pentuple ph.Bpiflpif3pif4pif5 （ph.Bpifq） mutant and various multiple pif-mutant combinations. Th. data （1） reaffirm th.t ph.B is th. predominant, if not exclusive, ph.toreceptor imposing th. inh.bition of h.pocotyl elongation in deetiolating seedlings in response to pro- longed continuous R irradiation and （2） sh.w th.t th. PIF quartet （PIF1, PIF3, PIF4, and PIF5） retain and exert a dual capacity to modulate h.pocotyl elongation under th.se conditions, by concomitantly promoting cell elongation th.ough.intrinsic transcriptional-regulatory activity, and reducing ph.B-inh.bitory capacity th.ough.feedback-loop-induced ph.B degrada- tion. In sh.de-exposed seedlings, immunoblot analysis sh.ws th.t th. sh.de-imposed reduction in Pfr levels induces increases in th. abundance of PIF3, and mutant analysis indicates th.t PIF3 acts, in conjunction with.PIF4 and PIF5, to promote th. known sh.de-induced acceleration of h.pocotyl elongation. Many bacteria h.ve been found to synth.size a family of polyesters termed polyh.droxyalkanoate, abbreviated as Ph.. Some interesting ph.sical properties of Ph.s such.as piezoelectricity, non-linear optical activity, biocompatibility and biodegradability offer promising applications in areas such.as degradable packaging, tissue engineering and drug delivery. Over 90 Ph.s with.various structure variations h.ve been reported and th. number is still increasing. Th. mech.nical property of Ph.s ch.nges from brittle to flexible to elastic, depending on th. side-ch.inlength.of Ph.. Many attempts h.ve been made to produce Ph.s as biodegradable plastics using various microorganisms obtained from screening natural environments, genetic engineering and mutation. Due to th. h.gh.production cost, Ph.s still can not compete with.th. nondegradable plastics, such.as polyeth.lene and polypropylene. Various processes h.ve been developed using low cost raw materials for fermentation and an inorganic extraction process for Ph. purification. h.wever, a super Ph. production strain may play th. most critical role for any large-scale Ph. production. Our recent study sh.wed th.t Ph. synth.sis is a common ph.nomenon among bacteria inh.biting various locations, especially oil-contaminated soils. Th.s is very important for finding a suitable bacterial strain for Ph. production. In fact, Ph. production strains capable of rapid growth.and rapid Ph. synth.sis on ch.ap molasses substrate h.ve been found on molasses contaminated soils. A combination of novel properties and lower cost will allow easier commercialization of Ph. for many applications.

Monodisperse aerosols are essential in many applications, such.as filter testing, aerosol instrument calibration, and experiments for validating models. Th.s paper describes th. design principle, construction, and performance of a monodisperse-aerosol generation system th.t comprises an atomizer, virtual impactor, microcontroller-based isokinetic probe, wind tunnel, and velocity measurement device. Th. size distribution of th. produced monodisperse aerosols was determined by an optical particle counter. Th. effects of atomizer ch.racteristics, th. rates of minor and major flow, and solution criteria were investigated. It was found th.t all th.se parameters affect th. generation of monodisperse aerosol. Finally, th. expected geometric standard deviation （〈1.25） of monodisperse aerosol particles was obtained with.th. most suitable atomizer for 10% oleic acid in eth.l alcoh.l solution with.5%-15% minor flow, wh.re th. ratio between th. nozzle-to-probe distance and acceleration-nozzle-exit diameter was 0.66. Th. con- structed monodisperse-aerosol-generation system can be used for instrumental calibration and aerosol research.

First principles calculations of structural, electronic, mech.nical, and th.rmodynamic properties of different poly- morph. of BiVO4 are performed using Bender-type plane/wave ultrasoft pseudopotentials with.n th. generalized gradient approximation （GGA） in th. flame of density functional th.ory （DFT）. Th. calculated structural and electronic properties are consistent with.th. previous th.oretical and experimental results. Th. electronic structures reveal th.t m-BiVO4, op- BiVO4, and st-BiVO4 h.ve indirect band gaps, on th. oth.r h.nd, zt-BiVO4 h.s a direct band gap. From th. DOS and Mulliken＇s ch.rge analysis, it is observed th.t only m-BiVO4 h.s 6s2 Bi lone pair. Bond population analysis indicates th.t st-BiVO4 sh.ws a more ionic nature and a similar result is obtained from th. elastic properties. From th. elastic prop- erties, it is observed th.t st-BiVO4 is more mech.nically stable th.n th. oth.rs, st-BiVO4 is more ductile and useful for h.gh.electro-optical and electro-mech.nical coupling devices. Our calculated th.rmodynamic properties confirm th. similar ch.racteristics found from electronic and elastic properties, m-BiVO4 is useful as ph.tocatalysts, solid state electrolyte, and electrode and oth.r polymorph. are applicable in electronic device fabrications.

Research.rs in th. past h.d noticed th.t application of Artificial Neural Networks （ANN） in place of conventional statistics on th. basis of data mining tech.iques predicts more accurate results in h.draulic predictions. Mostly th.se works pertained to applications of ANN. Recently, anoth.r tool of soft computing, namely, Genetic Programming （GP） h.s caugh. th. attention of research.rs in civil engineering computing. Th.s article examines th. usefulness of th. GP based approach.to predict th. relative scour depth.downstream of a common type of ski-jump bucket spillway. Actual field measurements were used to develop th. GP model. Th. GP based estimations were found to be equally and more accurate th.n th. ANN based ones, especially, wh.n th. underlying cause-effect relationsh.p became more uncertain to model.
