Stroke is characterised by high mortality and disability rate in *** study aimed to explore the temporal trends in years of life lost(YLL)and loss of life expectancy due to stroke and its subtypes in urban and rural areas in China during *** were obtained from China National Mortality Surveillance *** life and stroke-eliminated life tables were generated to calculate loss of life *** YLL and loss of life expectancy due to stroke in urban and rural areas at both national and provincial level during 2005-2020 were *** China,the age-standardised YLL rate due to stroke and its subtypes were higher in rural areas than in urban *** YLL rate due to stroke showed a downward trend in both urban and rural residents from 2005 to 2020,decreased by 39.9%and 21.5%,*** of life expectancy caused by stroke decreased from 1.75 years to 1.70 years from 2005 to *** which,loss of life expectancy due to intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)decreased from 0.94 years to 0.65 years,while that of ischaemic stroke(IS)increased from 0.62 years to 0.86 years.A slightly upward trend was observed in loss of life expectancy caused by subarachnoid haemorrhage(SAH),from 0.05 years to 0.06 *** of life expectancy due to ICH and SAH was always higher in rural areas than in urban areas,whereas that of IS was higher in urban areas than in rural *** males suffered the greatest loss of life expectancy due to ICH and SAH,while the highest loss of life expectancy caused by IS was found in urban ***,Heilongjiang(2.25 years),Tibet(2.17 years)and Jilin(2.16 years)were found to have the highest loss of life expectancy caused by stroke in *** of life expectancy caused by ICH and SAH was higher in western China,while the disease burden of IS was heavier in northeast *** remains a major public health problem in China,although the age-standardised YLL rate and loss of life expectancy due to stroke

A single neutral atom is one of the most promising candidates to encode a quantum bit(qubit). In a real experiment, a single neutral atom is always confined in a micro-sized far off-resonant optical trap(FORT). There are generally two types of traps: red-detuned trap and blue-detuned trap. We experimentally compare the qubits encoded in "clock states" of single cesium atoms confined separately in either 1064-nm red-detuned(bright) trap or 780-nm blue-detuned(dark) trap: both traps have almost the same trap depth. A longer lifetime of 117 s and a longer coherence time of about 10 ms are achieved in the dark trap. This provides a direct proof of the superiority of the dark trap over the bright trap. The measures to further improve the coherence are discussed.

Causation promotes the understanding of correlation to an advanced stage by elucidating its underlying mechanism. Although statisticians have specified the possible causal relations among correlations,inferring causal structures is impossible from only the observed correlations in the classical world. Quantum correlations encapsulating the most defining aspects of quantum physics have taken a new turn for the causal inference problem — the two-point spatial and temporal quantum correlations with observationally discernible characteristics correspond exactly to the two most basic causal structures. However, a direct causal interpretation for quantum correlations has only been established in very limited cases. Here, we explore to what extent quantum correlations promote causal inference. Theoretically, we have found that the distinguishable causal regime of two-point Pauli correlations can be expanded from a single value to an asymmetric interval, and the causal structures determining the quantum correlations can be interpreted by a simple distance criterion. Experimentally, we have devised and implemented a versatile non-unital quantum channel in an optical architecture to directly observe such an asymmetric interval. The setup enabled quantum causal inference without any requirement of active intervention, which is impossible in the classical realm. Our work facilitates the identification of causal links among quantum variables and provides insight into characterizing causation and spatial-temporal correlation in quantum mechanics.

To investigate the thermal and mechanical behavior of casting wheel,a two-dimensional thermoelastic-plastic finite element model was used to predict the temperature,stress and distortion distribution of the casting wheel during the wheel and belt continuous casting *** effects of grinding thickness and casting speed on the thermal and mechanical behaviors of the center of the hot face of the casting wheel were discussed in *** each rotation,the casting wheel passes through four different spray *** results show that the temperature distribution of the casting wheel in different spray zones is similar,the temperature of the hot face is the highest and the temperature reaches the peak in the spray zoneⅢ.The stress and distortion depend on the temperature distribution,and the maximum stress and distortion of the hot face are 358.2 MPa and 1.82 mm,*** temperature at the center of the hot face decreases with increasing grinding thickness and increases with increasing casting speed.

Nano-diamond particles are co-deposited on Ti substrates with metal(Ti/Ni) nanoparticles(NPs) by the electrophoretic deposition(EPD) method combined with a furnace annealing at 800℃ under N_(2) atmosphere. Modifications of structural and electron field emission(EFE) properties of the metal-doped films are investigated with different metal NPs concentrations. Our results show that the surface characteristics and EFE performances of the samples are first enhanced and then reduced with metal NPs concentration increasing. Both the Ti-doped and Ni-doped nano-diamond composite films exhibit optimal EFE and microstructural performances when the doping quantity is 5 mg. Remarkably enhanced EFE properties with a low turn-on field of 1.38 V/μm and a high current density of 1.32 mA/cm^(2) at an applied field of 2.94 V/μm are achieved for Ni-doped nano-diamond films, and are superior to those for Ti-doped ones. The enhancement of the EFE properties for the Ti-doped films results from the formation of the TiC-network after annealing. However, the doping of electron-rich Ni NPs and formation of high conductive graphitic phase are considered to be the factor, which results in marvelous EFE properties for these Ni-doped nano-diamond films.

The Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC)system was proposed in 1999 with the intent to improve a therapeutic algorithm for the management of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)[1].Both the European and the American Guidelines on the Treatment of HCC have endorsed the BCLC as the standard staging algorithm with prognostic and therapeutic implications[2,3].The BCLC staging system stratifies HCC patients into five stages(0,A,B,C and D).According to the algorithm,liver transplantation(LT)is indicated only in patients in the stages BCLC 0 and A,special situations provided.

Chilling-induced accumulation of reactive oxygen species(ROS) is harmful to plants,which usually produce anthocyanins to scavenge ROS as protection from chilling *** a tropical crop,cassava is hypersensitive to chilling,but the biochemical basis of this hypersensitivity remains *** previously generated Me MYB2-RNAi transgenic cassava with increased chilling *** we report that Me MYB2-RNAi transgenic cassava accumulated less ROS but more cyanidin-3-O-glucoside than the wild type under early chilling *** this stress,the anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway was more active in Me MYB2-RNAi lines than in the wild type,and several genes involved in the pathway,including Me TT8,were up-regulated by Me MYB2-RNAi in the transgenic *** MYB2 bound to the Me TT8 promoter and blocked its expression under both normal and chilling conditions,thereby inhibiting anthocyanin *** TT8 was shown to bind to the promoter of Dihydroflavonol 4-reductase(Me DFR-2)and increased Me DFR-2 *** MYB2 appears to act as an inhibitor of chilling-induced anthocyanin accumulation during the rapid response of cassava to chilling stress.
