Due to the low cost,high working voltage and high storage capacity,Li-rich Mn-based layered compounds show promise as the cathode materials for lithiumion batteries(LIBs).However,the side reactions at the solid-liquid interface of the cathode will lead to rapid capacity decay and inferior rate ***,this article proposes a liquid-phase dispersion strategy to introduce a Na_(2)WO_(4)layer on the Li_(1.2)Ni_(0.13)-Co_(0.13)Mn_(0.54)O_(2) cathode,which can reduce the side effects between raw materials and electrolyte and promote the insertion/extraction rate of Li^(+),thus enhancing the material stability and rate *** a result,the capacity retention rate is 96.9%after 200 cycles under ***,the capacities are 177.5,149.5,111.1 and58.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 1C,2C,5C and 10C,implying a superior fast charging *** exceptional performance can be ascribed to both the increased conductivity and enhanced structural stability of the cathode ***'s more,based on the investigation of ion insertion/extraction behavior in electrode materials and the ion migration kinetics in the electrolyte,this study suggests that coating Li-rich Mn-based materials with Na_(2)WO_(4)can be a promising strategy to improve their performance in LIBs.

BACKGROUND Diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)has been developed to stage liver ***,its diagnostic performance is inconsistent among ***,it is worth studying the diagnostic value of various diffusion models for liver fibrosis in one *** To evaluate the clinical potential of six diffusion-weighted models in liver fibrosis staging and compare their diagnostic *** This prospective study enrolled 59 patients suspected of liver disease and scheduled for liver biopsy and 17 healthy *** participants underwent multi-b value *** main DWI-derived parameters included Mono-apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)from mono-exponential DWI,intravoxel incoherent motion model-derived true diffusion coefficient(IVIM-D),diffusion kurtosis imaging-derived apparent diffusivity(DKI-MD),stretched exponential model-derived distributed diffusion coefficient(SEM-DDC),fractional order calculus(FROC)model-derived diffusion coefficient(FROC-D)and FROC model-derived microstructural quantity(FROC-μ),and continuous-time random-walk(CTRW)model-derived anomalous diffusion coefficient(CTRW-D)and CTRW model-derived temporal diffusion heterogeneity index(CTRW-α).The correlations between DWI-derived parameters and fibrosis stages and the parameters’diagnostic efficacy in detecting significant fibrosis(SF)were assessed and *** CTRW-D(r=-0.356),CTRW-α(r=-0.297),DKI-MD(r=-0.297),FROC-D(r=-0.350),FROC-μ(r=-0.321),IVIM-D(r=-0.251),Mono-ADC(r=-0.362),and SEM-DDC(r=-0.263)were significantly correlated with fibrosis *** areas under the ROC curves(AUCs)of the combined index of the six models for distinguishing SF(0.697-0.747)were higher than each of the parameters alone(0.524-0.719).The DWI models’ability to detect SF was *** combined index of CTRW model parameters had the highest AUC(0.747).CONCLUSION The DWI models were similarly valuable in distinguishing SF in patients with liver *** combined index of CTRW paramet

The alloy-type material Sb is widely used in the anode materials of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to its high theoretical specific ***,its serious volume expansion problem during alloying/dealloying of Li~+limits its practical *** this work,C-Sb composite was constructed as anode material of LIBs by electrospinning route for the first time,Sb was introduced into the polyacrylonitrile-based hard carbon and coal tar pitch-based soft carbon composite amorphous carbon fiber with a diameter of 300-600 nm,which realized high cycling *** C-Sb-2(the mass ratio of polyacrylonitrile to Sb source is 1:2)electrode displayed charge capacities of 1098.5,930.3,841.7,753.5,643.9 and 545.8 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.5,1 and 2 A·g^(-1),*** when the current density returned to 0.1 A·g^(-1),the charge capacity was 939.3 mAh·g^(-1),revealing good stability and *** introduction of Sb into the amorphous carbon improved its conductivity and addressed the volume expansion issue of high specific capacity Sb during charge/***-situ XRD analysis confirmed the high reversibility of the C-Sb-2 during charging and *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed the gradual enhancement of the interface interaction between Sb_(x)Li_(y) and amorphous carbon(AMC)with increasing lithium content,contributing to the anchoring of alloy nanoparticles on the AMC surface and buffering the volume change of the ***,the gradual lithiation of Sb facilitated the electron transfer from Sb_(x)Li_(y) to *** findings hold promise for designing lithium storage materials with exceptional performance,highlighting the potential of C-Sb composites as anode materials for efficient next-generation lithium storage.

The interface mechanism between catalyst and carbon substrate has been the focus of *** this paper,the FeCo alloy embedded N,S co-doped carbon substrate bifunctional catalyst(FeCo/S-NC)is obtained by a simple one-step pyrolysis *** experimental results and density functional theory(DFT)calculation show that the formation of FeCo alloy is conducive to promoting electron transfer,and the introduction of S atom can enhance the interaction between FeCo alloy and carbon substrate,thus inhibiting the migration and agglomeration of particles on the surface of carbon *** FeCo/SNC catalysts show outstanding performance for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER).FeCo/S-NC shows a high half-wave potential(E_(1/2)=0.8823 V)for ORR and a low overpotential at 10 mA cm^(-2)(E_(j=10)=299 mV)for *** addition,compared with Pt/C+RuO_(2) assembled Zn-air battery(ZAB),the FeCo/S-NC assembled ZAB exhibits a larger power density(198.8 mW cm^(-2)),a higher specific capacity(786.1 mA h g_(zn)~(-1)),and ultra-stable cycle *** results confirm that the optimized composition and the interfacial interaction between catalyst and carbon substrate synergistically enhance the electrochemical performance.

Effects of pressure on structure and dynamics of metallic glass-forming liquid with miscibility gap

The metallic liquid with miscibility gap has been widely explored recently because of the increasing plastic deformation ability of phase-separated metallic glass. However, the poor glass-forming ability limits its application as the structural materials due to the positive mixing enthalpy of the two elements. Since high pressure is in favor of the formation of the glass, the effect of pressure on the structural and dynamical heterogeneity of phase-separated CusoAgso liquid is inves- tigated by molecular dynamics simulation in the pressure range of 0-16 GPa. The results clearly show that the pressure promotes the formation of metallic glass by increasing the number of fivefold symmetry cluster W and dynamical relaxation time; meanwhile, the liquid-liquid phase separation is also enhanced, and the homogenous atom pAlrs show stronger interaction than heterogeneous atom pAlrs with increasing pressure. The dynamical heterogeneity is related to the formation of fivefold symmetry clusters. The lower growing rate of W at higher pressure with decreasing temperature corresponds to the slow increase in dynamical heterogeneity. The pressured glass with miscibility gap may act as a candidate glass with improved plastic formation ability. The results explore the structural and dynamical heterogeneity of phase-separated liquid at atomic level.

Untrusted Hardware Causes Double-Fetch Problems in the I/O Memory

The double fetch problem occurs when the data is maliciously changed between two kernel reads of the supposedly same data, which can cause serious security problems in the kernel. Previous research focused on the double fetches between the kernel and user applications. In this paper, we present the first dedicated study of the double fetch problem between the kernel and peripheral devices （aka. the hardware double fetch）. Operating systems communicate with peripheral devices by reading from and writing to the device mapped I/O （input and output） memory. Owing to the lack of effective validation of the attached hardware, compromised hardware could flip the data between two reads of the same I/O memory address, causing a double fetch problem. We propose a static pattern-matching approach to identify the hardware double fetches from the Linux kernel. Our approach can analyze the entire kernel without relying on the corresponding hardware. The results are categorized and each category is analyzed using case studies to discuss the possibility of causing bugs. We also find four previously unknown double-fetch vulnerabilities, which have been confirmed and fixed after reporting them to the maintainers.

In this article, a method based on max signal interference noise ratio（SINR） criterion is proposed, to mitigate the interuser interference for downlink multiuser spatial multiplexing multi-input multi-output（MIMO） systems. Unlike the zero forcing （ZF） scheme in which the SNR is decreased when the interference is eliminated completely, max SINR method makes a compromise between noise and interuser interference. When the number of substreams is larger than the difference between the number of base station antennas and the sum of interference mobile station antennas, the ZF is infeasible An existing coordinated TX-RX block diagonalization（COOR BD） method uses preprocessing at the receiver to cancel the interuser interference. However, it cannot obtain more receive diversity gain because of the preprocessing. Analysis and simulation show that the max SINR scheme has better performance than the ZF method. Moreover, when the ZF is infeasible, the max SINR scheme can obtain more receive diversity gain than COOR BD in the two-user case.

Effect of Oscillatory Shear on the Mechanical Properties and Crystalline Morphology of Linear Low Density Polyethylene

In this study, effects of oscillatory shear with different frequencies （0-2.5 Hz） and amplitudes （0-20 mm） on the mechanical properties and crystalline morphology of linear low density polyethylene （LLDPE） were investigated. It was found that the mechanical properties of LLDPE are improved because of the more perfect crystalline structure when LLDPE crystallizes under low-frequency and small-amplitude （0.2 Hz/4 mm） oscillatory shear. The mechanical properties can be further improved by increasing either the frequency or the amplitude of oscillatory shear. The Young＇s modulus and tensile strength of LLDPE are improved by 27% and 20%, respectively, when the frequency is increased to 2.5 Hz and the amplitude is maintained at 4 mm; while the Young＇s modulus and tensile strength are improved by 49% and 47%, respectively, when the amplitude is increased to 20 mm and the frequency is remained as 0.2 Hz. The crystallinity and microstructure of LLDPE under different oscillatory shear conditions were investigated by using differential scanning calorimetry, wide angle X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy to shed light on the mechanism for the improvement of mechanical properties.
