Printed circuit heat exchanger(PCHE)has been widely used in supercritical carbon dioxide(S-CO_(2))power systems because of its high heat transfer efficiency and good ***,due to the large variety of PCHE configurations,channel selection in practical applications lacks a ***,this paper discussed the heat transfer and friction characteristics and the synergy of three fields in the channel under the guidance of the field synergy principle for four typical PCHE ***,the comprehensive performance of four channels was ***,the heat transfer and friction factor correlations for S-CO_(2)in four channels were *** findings demonstrate that the synergy of velocity and pressure fields of the straight channel PCHE is better(β≈180°),so its resistance loss is relatively *** zigzag and sinusoidal wavy channels and the airfoil fins can reduce the angle a between the temperature gradient and velocity,thus enhancing the heat *** sinusoidal wavy channel can reduce flow resistance compared to the zigzag channel due to the rounded *** streamlined airfoil structure can guide the flow and reduce backflow,thus reducing resistance *** the range of Re studied in this paper,the maximum error of the proposed heat transfer and friction factor correlations of PCHE is 7.0%,which shows good fitting *** research in this paper can provide a reference for the selection and design of PCHE with different channel configurations.

Understanding the structural stability of nanomaterials such as nanowires is imperative for their practical ***,using single-shot ultrafast transmission electron microscopy,we captured the Plateau-Rayleigh instability behavior of silver nanowires decomposing into silver nanoparticles upon laser irradiation on nanosecond time *** found that this dynamic process can be accelerated by a factor of 10 through increasing the peak laser fluence from 6.03 to 14.60 mJ/cm^(2).Moreover,by comparing the laser fluence required to initiate the Plateau-Rayleigh instability in silver nanowires on carbon and Formvar membranes,it was found that the main driving force for the Plateau-Rayleigh instability in this study was substrate *** element analysis and molecular dynamics simulations are also applied to estimate the temperature jump of the nanowires and atomistic behavior,*** addition,the complex motions of silver nanowires under laser irradiation were systematically investigated by combining the results of ultrafast transmission electron microscopy with scanning electron microscopy characterizations and were determined to be related to nanowire-membrane interactions or pre-existing stresses on the nanowires,which in turn demonstrated the potential of ultrafast transmission electron microscopy for the characterization of nanomaterials and devices under extreme conditions.

Drug-Target Interactions Prediction Based on Signed Heterogeneous Graph Neural Networks

Drug-target interactions(DTIs) prediction plays an important role in the process of drug *** computational methods treat it as a binary prediction problem, determining whether there are connections between drugs and targets while ignoring relational types information. Considering the positive or negative effects of DTIs will facilitate the study on comprehensive mechanisms of multiple drugs on a common target, in this work, we model DTIs on signed heterogeneous networks, through categorizing interaction patterns of DTIs and additionally extracting interactions within drug pairs and target protein pairs. We propose signed heterogeneous graph neural networks(SHGNNs), further put forward an end-to-end framework for signed DTIs prediction, called SHGNN-DTI,which not only adapts to signed bipartite networks, but also could naturally incorporate auxiliary information from drug-drug interactions(DDIs) and protein-protein interactions(PPIs). For the framework, we solve the message passing and aggregation problem on signed DTI networks, and consider different training modes on the whole networks consisting of DTIs, DDIs and PPIs. Experiments are conducted on two datasets extracted from Drug Bank and related databases, under different settings of initial inputs, embedding dimensions and training modes. The prediction results show excellent performance in terms of metric indicators, and the feasibility is further verified by the case study with two drugs on breast cancer.

Microorganisms are crucial in the bioremediation of organophosphorus pesticides. However, most functional microorganisms (> 99%) are yet to be cultivated. This study applied two cultivation-independent approaches, DNA-SIP and magnetic-nanoparticle mediated isolation (MMI), to identify the functional microorganisms in degrading dimethoate in agricultural soils. MMI identified five dimethoate degraders: Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Ramlibacter, Arthrobacter, and Rhodococcus, whereas DNA-SIP identified three dimethoate degraders: Ramlibacter, Arthrobacter, and Rhodococcus. Also, MMI showed higher resolution than DNA-SIP in identifying functional microorganisms. Two organic phosphohydrolase (OPH) genes: ophC2 and ophB, were involved in dimethoate metabolism, as revealed by DNA-SIP and MMI. The degradation products of dimethoate include omethoate, O,O,S-trimethyl thiophosphorothioate, N-methyl-2-sulfanylacetamide, O,O-diethyl S-hydrogen phosphorodithioate, O,O,O-trimethyl thiophosphate, O,O,S-trimethyl thiophosphorodithioate, and O,O,O-trimethyl phosphoric. This study emphasizes the feasibility of using SIP and MMI to explore the functional dimethoate degraders, expanding our knowledge of microbial resources with cultivation-independent approaches.

The twin-body plasma arc has the decoupling control ability of heat transfer and mass transfer,which is beneficial to shape and property control in wire arc additive *** this paper,with the wire feeding speed as a characteristic quantity,the wire melting control ability of twin-body plasma arc was studied by adjusting the current separation ratio(under the condition of a constant total current),the wire current/main current and the position of the wire in the arc axial *** results showed that under the premise that the total current remains unchanged(100 A),as the current separation ratio increased,the middle and minimum melting amounts increased approximately synchronously under the effect of anode effect power,the first melting mass range remained constant;the maximum melting amount increased twice as fast as the middle melting amount under the effect of the wire feeding speed,and the second melting mass range was *** the wire current increased,the anode effect power and the plasma arc power were both factors causing the increase in the wire melting amount;however,when the main current increased,the plasma arc power was the only factor causing the increase in the wire melting *** average wire melting increment caused by the anode effect power was approximately 2.7 times that caused by the plasma arc *** minimum melting amount was not affected by the wire-torch distance under any current separation ratio *** the current separation ratio increased and reached a threshold,the middle melting amount remained constant with increasing wire-torch *** the current separation ratio continued to increase and reached the next threshold,the maximum melting amount remained constant with the increasing wire-torch *** effect of the wire-torch distance on the wire melting amount reduced with the increase in the current separation *** this study,the decoupling mechanism and ability of this innovative

Formaldehyde is a pollutant that significantly affects the indoor air ***,conventional remediation approaches can be challenging to deal with low-concentration formaldehyde in an indoor *** this study,Photocatalysts of Ag/graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))/Ni with 3D reticulated coral structure were prepared by thermal polymerization and liquid phase photo-deposition,using nickel foam(NF)as the *** demonstrated that when the Ag concentration was 3%,and the relative humidity was 60%,the Ni/Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)showed the maximum degradation rate of formaldehyde at 90.19%under visible light irradiation,and the formaldehyde concentration after degradation was lower than the Hygienic standard stated by the Chinese *** porous structure of Ni/Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)and the formation of Schottky junctions promoted the Adsorption efficiency and degradation of formaldehyde,while the nickel foam carrier effectively promoted the desorption of degradation ***,the degradation rate was only reduced by3.4%after 16 recycles,the three-dimensional porous structure extended the lifetime of the *** study provides a new strategy for the degradation of indoor formaldehyde at low concentrations.

Flocking control in the presence of malicious decisions is a crucial research topic since agents in swarms are likely to suffer from security issues in practice. This paper considers a swarm containing malicious agents that deliberately alter their controller parameters and disrupt the swarm by causing collisions,divisions, and escapes. Two possible malicious scenarios are considered. The first is that one malicious agent acts selectively on a subset of its neighbors and the second is that multiple malicious agents are either scattered or clustered together. To achieve the flocking control objective:(1) containment conditions based on specific geometric configurations are established;(2) hierarchical fault-tolerant flocking control methods based on those containment conditions are proposed. Compared to existing research dealing with malicious agents in swarms, our approach aims to contain rather than remove them. This guarantees the completeness of the task and takes agents' motions into consideration. Simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

In exploring persistent infections and malignancies, a distinctive subgroup of CD8^(+) T cells, progenitor exhausted CD8^(+) T(Tpex) cells, has been identified. These Tpex cells are notable for their remarkable self-renewal and rapid proliferation abilities. Recent strides in immunotherapy have demonstrated that Tpex cells expand and differentiate into responsive exhausted CD8^(+) T cells, thus underscoring their critical role in the immunotherapeutic retort. Clinical examinations have further clarified a robust positive correlation between the proportional abundance of Tpex cells and enhanced clinical prognosis. Tpex cells have found noteworthy applications in the formulation of inventive immunotherapeutic approaches against tumors. This review describes the functions of Tpex cells in the tumor milieu, particularly their potential utility in tumor immunotherapy. Precisely directing Tpex cells may be essential to achieving successful outcomes in immunotherapy against tumors.
