Ion exchange is a promising synthetic method for alleviating severe cation mixing in traditional layered oxide materials for lithium-ion batteries,leading to enhanced structural ***,the underlying mechanisms of ion exchange are still not fully *** a fundamental study of the ion-exchange mechanism is needed for achieving the controllable synthesis of layered oxides with a stable ***,we thoroughly unearth the underlying mechanism that triggers the ion exchange of Ni-rich materials in aqueous solutions by examining time-resolved structural evolution combined with theoretical *** results reveal that the reaction pathway of ion exchange can be divided into two steps:protonation and *** proton is the key to achieving charge balance in the ion exchange process,as revealed by X-ray adsorption spectroscopy and inductive coupled plasma *** addition,the intermediate product shows high lattice distortion during ion exchange,but it ends up with a most stable product with high lattice *** apparent discrepancies in lattice energy between materials before and after ion exchange emphasize the importance of synthetic design in structural *** work provides new insights into the ion-exchange synthesis of Ni-rich oxide materials,which advances the development of cathode materials for high-performance lithium-ion batteries.

以微晶纤维素(MCC)、三氟乙酸酐(TFAA)和长链月桂酸(LA)为原料,通过机械球磨一步法制备具有高取代度(DS>2.5)的月桂酸纤维素酯(LCE),并探讨了机械化学条件对产物取代度、熔融行为和热稳定性的影响.结果表明,随着球磨转速和球磨时间的增加,产物LCE的取代度提高,熔融温度下降,当DS≥2.81时,能得到完全熔融的LCE.在投料比为1:6:3,且以400 r/min球磨处理4 h时,能制备流动温度(T_(f))为115℃且分解温度高达324℃的纤维素月桂酸酯.此外,初步探讨了在体系中引入PVA对过量的TFAA以及副产物三氟乙酸进行收酸的效果,分析数据表明PVA成功固定了三氟乙酸.本策略在简化制备过程、减少单体用量、缩短反应时间和环境友好等方面相较于传统均相手段具有显著的优势,有望应用于工业上大规模地制备热塑性纤维素衍生物.

Derivatization has great potential for the high-value utilization of cellulose by enhancing its processability and ***,due to the low reactivity of natural cellulose,it remains challenging to rapidly prepare cellulose derivatives with high degrees of ***“cavitation effect”of ultrasound can reduce the particle size and crystalline index of cellulose,which provides a possible method for preparing cellulose ***,a feasible method was proposed for efficiently converting regenerated cellulose to cellulose oleate with the assistance of ultrasonic *** adjusting the reaction conditions including ultrasonic intensity,feeding ratios of oleic acid,reaction time,and reaction solvent,a series of cellulose oleates with degrees of substitution ranging from 0.37 to 1.71 were ***,the effects of different reaction conditions on the chemical structures,crystalline structures,and thermal behaviors were investigated *** oleates with degrees of substitution exceeding 1.23 exhibited amorphous structures and thermoplasticity with glass transition temperatures at 159.8 to 172.6℃.This study presented a sustainable and practicable method for effectively derivatizing cellulose.

Incidence,predictors,and prognosis of thrombocytopenia among patients undergoing intra-aortic balloon pumping in the intensive care unit:a propensity score analysis

OBJECTIVE To explore the incidence,predictors,and prognosis of intra-aortic balloon pumping(IABP)-related thrombocytopenia in critically ill *** This multi-center study used the eICU Collaborative Research Database V1.2,comprising data on>130,000 patients from multiple intensive care units(ICUs)in America between 2014 and 2015.A total of 710 patients undergoing IABP were *** was defined as a drop in platelet count>50%from *** the cohort,167 patients who developed thrombocytopenia were matched 1:1 with 167 patients who did not,after propensity score(PS)*** associations between IABP-related thrombocytopenia and clinical outcomes were examined by multivariable logistic *** Among 710 patients undergoing IABP,249 patients(35.07%)developed *** APACHE IVa score was a predictor of thrombocytopenia[adjusted odds ratio(OR)=1.09,95%confidence interval(CI):1.02−1.15].After 1:1 PS matching,in-hospital mortality(adjusted OR=0.76,95%CI:0.37−1.56)and in-ICU mortality(adjusted OR=0.74,95%CI:0.34−1.63)were similar between the thrombocytopenia and non-thrombocytopenia ***,major bleeding occurred more frequently in the thrombocytopenia group(adjusted OR=2.54,95%CI:1.54−4.17).In-hospital length of stay(LOS)and in-ICU LOS were significantly longer in patients who developed thrombocytopenia than in those who did not(9.71 vs.7.36,Plity or in-ICU mortality;however,thrombocytopenia was significantly associated with a greater risk of major bleeding and increased in-ICU and in-hospital LOS.

Chemical Activation of S/li2S in li-S Batteries by a Bidirectional Organic Redox Mediator

The energy density and lifespan of prototype li-S batteries under high sulfur loading and lean electrolyte have been mainly restricted by the incomplete interconversion between insulating S8 and *** introduction of an electrocatalyst has been preserved as an effective way to breakthrough the bottleneck of the interconversion ***,we demonstrate a novel bidirectional redox mediator,insoluble dithiobisphthalimide(DTPI),as the electrocatalyst for both S8 reduction and li2S *** to the dual-functional role of both electron/li^(+)donor and acceptor,DTPI can efficiently accelerate the redox reactions during charge/discharge and significantly alleviate the incomplete conversion of sulfur ***,the li-S batteries with DTPI deliver superior specific capacity and cycling stability in comparison with those without ***,the redox mediator is scalable for synthesis and the DTPI-based 5 A·h pouch cell delivers a specific discharge capacity of around 870 mA·h·g^(−1) at 0.1 C(1 C=1675 mA/g)without capacity fading over 80 *** bidirectional catalysis mechanism has been studied through theoretical calculation and ex-situ characterization of the cathode *** work approves the effectiveness of bidirectional organic redox mediator in the construction of practical li-S batteries.

Zinc metal anodes face several challenges,including the uncontrolled formation of dendrites,hydrogen evolution,and corrosion,which seriously hinder their application in *** address the above problems such as dendrite formation and corrosion,we present a simple and applicable immersion method that enables in situ formation of a zinc phytate(PAZ)coating on the surface of commercial Zn flakes via a substitution *** protective coating mitigates corrosion of zinc flakes by the electrolyte,reduces the interfacial impedance,and accelerates the migration kinetics of zinc ***,this method can preferentially expose the(002)crystal plane with strong atomic bonding,which not only improves the corrosion resistance of the zinc flake,but can also guide the parallel deposition of zinc ions along the(002)crystal plane and reduce the formation of *** from the above advantages,the PAZ@Zn‖Cu half-cell has shown over 900 cycles with average coulombic efficiency(CE)of99.81%at 4 mA cm^(-2).Besides,the PAZ@Zn‖PAZ@Zn symmetric cell operate stably for>1000 h at5 mA cm^(-2)and>340 h at 10 mA cm^(-2).Furthermore,we demonstrated that this in situ chemical treatment enables the formation of a robust,well-bound protective *** method provides insights for advancing the commercialization of zinc anodes and other metal anodes.

Evaluation of the injection and plugging ability of a novel epoxy resin in cement cracks

Sustained casing pressure(SCP)is a crucial issue in the oil and gas production *** resins,exhibiting exceptional compressive strength,ductility,and shear bonding strength,have the potential to form reliable *** injectivity and sealing capacity of the epoxy resin is crucial parameters for the success of shallow remediation *** study aimed to develop and assess a novel solid-free resin sealant as an alternative to Portland cement for mitigating fluid *** investigation evaluated the viscosity,compressive strength,and brittleness index of the epoxy resin sealant,as well as its tangential and normal shear strengths in conjunction with casing *** flow characteristics and sealing abilities of conventional cement and epoxy resin were comparatively analyzed in *** results showed that the application of a viscosity reducer facilitated control over the curing time of the epoxy resin,ranging from 1.5 to 6 h,and reduced the initial viscosity from 865.53 to 118.71 m Pa,*** mechanical properties of the epoxy resin initially increased with a rise in curing agent content before experiencing a minor *** epoxy resin containing 30%curing agent exhibited optimal mechanical *** a 14-day curing period,the epoxy resin's compressive strength reached81.37 MPa,2.12 times higher than that of cement,whereas the elastic modulus of cement was 2.99 times greater than that of the epoxy *** brittleness index of epoxy resin is only 3.42,demonstrating high flexibility and *** tangential and normal shear strengths of the epoxy resin exceeded those of cement by 3.17 and 2.82 times,*** a 0.5 mm-wide crack,the injection pressure of the epoxy resin remained below 0.075 MPa,indicating superior injection and flow ***,the injection pressure of cement surged dramatically to 2.61 MPa within 5 *** breakthrough pressure of0.5 PV epoxy resin reached 7.53 MPa,decreasing the crack's perme

Topology modulation of tetraphenylethylene graphdiyne at a liquid-liquid interface

Monomers with low symmetries can form different topological structures in the preparation of organic two-dimensional(2D)***,it remains challenging to modulate the topologies in practical *** theoretical insights into the formation energy of potential structural configurations,we report the topology modulation of a graphdiyne(GDY)derivative constructed from two-fold symmetric tetrakis(4-ethynylphenyl)ethene precursor by changing solvent combinations in a liquid-liquid interfacial *** aqueous-organic(water-dichloromethane)interface afforded GDY with a kagome topology while a rhombic topology was formed at an organic-organic(hexane-acetonitrile)interface.A comprehensive evaluation of their structures and optoelectronic properties was conducted through various characterization techniques and theoretical *** study provided new insights to modulate the topology of not only GDY but also other framework structures and obtain topologically pure materials in situations where different topologies are possible during practical synthesis.
