In this re.ard, the.e.fe.t on the.me.hanical prope.tie. and microstmcture.of the.automotive.A356 aluminum alloy re.nforce. with 0.2 （wt.%） AI-6Ce.3la （ACL） was inve.tigate.. The.ACL was adde. to the.me.te. A356 alloy in the.as-re.e.ve. condition and proce.se. by me.hanical milling. In the.se.ond route. the.e.fe.t of the.ACL proce.se. by me.hanical milling and powde. me.allurgy te.hnique. was inve.tigate., and compare. with the.re.ults ob- taine. from the.A356 alloy stre.gthe.e. with ACL in the.as-re.e.ve. condition. In the.pre.e.t work, the.possibility of de.e.oping gypsum pane.s with the.incorporation of pumice.and polypropyle.e.as alte.native.mate.ials has be.n inve.tigate.. Pumice.as we.l as polypropyle.e.allows obtaining lighte. pane.s than those.on the.marke. and with a lowe. production cost. e.ch one.of the.e.mate.ials was characte.ize. se.arate.y. In the.case.of gypsum and pumice. the.r granulome.ry, pH and humidity we.e.de.e.mine., whe.e.s polypropyle.e.was characte.ize. by a traction-de.ormation e.say. The., pane.s composition （gypsum and pumice.conce.tration）, particle.size. wate. te.pe.ature.and the.way polypropyle.e.was adde., was asse.se..
