Anisotropy in dynamic recrystallization behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloy

Deformation behavior as well as microstructural evolutions of a rolled AZ31 magnesium alloy with and without pre-existing extension twins were studied using compression tests which performed along different orientations at a temperature range of 25–350 ℃. The results implied that the initial texture not only influence the evolution of flow stress, but also change the size and fraction of recrystallized *** contrast to samples parallel to rolling and transverse directions, compression along normal direction resulted in a respectful softening at 150 ℃. The largest size and fraction of new grains at 250 ℃ were recorded after deformation along rolling direction, while the maximum flow softening was observed during deformation along normal direction. The anisotropy in microstructural evolutions was still retained at 350 ℃. Pre-existing twins could reduce the anisotropy of material in respect of flow stress as well as DRX progression, where TD sample showed the lowest DRX fraction at 250 ℃. Quaternion misorientation data obtained from EBSD analysis of pretwinned material implied that initial texture could not significantly influence final texture. A different misorientation distribution was realized after deformation of pretwinned material along ND and RD directions.

Natural fibers have been extensively researched as reinforcement materials in polymers on account of their environmental and economic advantages in comparison with synthetic fibers in the recent *** fibers are renowned for their good mechanical properties,abundance,and short cycle *** beams are one of the fundamental structural components and are susceptible to mechanical loads in engineering applications,this paper performs a study on the free vibration and buckling responses of bamboo fiber reinforced composite(BFRC)beams on the elastic *** different functionally graded(FG)layouts and a uniform one are the considered distributions for unidirectional long bamboo fibers across the *** elastic properties of the composite are determined with the law of *** hamilton’s principle,the governing equations of motion are *** generalized differential quadrature method(GDQm)is then applied to the equations to obtain the *** achieved outcomes exhibit that the natural frequency and buckling load values vary as the fiber volume fractions and distributions,elastic foundation stiffness values,and boundary conditions(BCs)and slenderness ratio of the beam ***,a comparative study is conducted between the derived analysis outcomes for BFRC and homogenous polymer beams to examine the effectiveness of bamboo fibers as reinforcement materials,demonstrating the significant enhancements in both vibration and buckling responses,with the exception of natural frequencies for cantilever beams on the Pasternak foundation with the FG-◇fiber ***,the obtained analysis results of BFRC beams are also compared with those for carbon nanotube reinforced composite(CNTRC)beams found in the literature,indicating that the buckling loads and natural frequencies of BFRC beams are lower than those of CNTRC beams.

We present an all-fiber dual-wavelength holmium-doped veloped holmium-doped fiber （hDF） as a gain medium fiber laser operating in 2 #m region using a newly de- The proposed fiber laser is constructed by using a hybrid gain medium, i.e., a thulium ytterbium co-doped fiber （TYDF） and an hDF in conjunction with a simple half-opened linear cavity, which is formed by a broadband mirror and an output coupler reflector. Without the hDF, the TYDF laser operates at wavelengths of 1991 and 1999nm with a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 34dB and the slope efficiency of 26.16 %. With the hDF, dual-wavelength output lines are obtained at 2075 and 2083nm with signal-to-noise ratios of more than difference between the two peaks of less than 1 dB at 17dB, 3dB bandwidth of less than 0.2nm and the power the TYDF laser pump power of 320roW.

We demonstrate the generation of dark and bright solitons with our homemade zirconia-based erbium-doped fiber and graphene oxide（GO） saturable absorber in anomalous dispersion *** GO is fabricated using an abridged hummer＇s method,which is combined with polyethylene oxide to produce a composite *** film is sandwiched between two optical ferrules and embedded in the laser cavity to enhance its birefringence and *** self-starting bright soliton is easily generated at pump power of 78 mW with the whole length cavity of 14.7 *** laser produces the bright pulse train with repetition rate,pulse width,pulse energy and central wavelength being 13.9 mhz,0.6 ps,2.74 p J and 1577.46 nm,***,by adding the 10 m of single mode fiber into the laser cavity,dark soliton pulse is *** the formation of dark pulse train,the measured repetition rate,pulse width,pulse energy and central wavelength are 8.3 mhz,20 ns and 4.98 p J and1596.82 nm,*** pulses operate in the anomalous region.

COVID-19 is one of themost highly infectious diseases ever emerged and caused by newly discovered severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).It has already led the entire world to health and economic *** has invaded the whole universe all most every *** present study demonstrates with a nine mutually exclusive compartmental model on transmission dynamics of this pandemic disease(COVID-19),with special focus on the transmissibility of symptomatic and asymptomatic infection from susceptible ***,the compartmental model has been investigated with mathematical analysis and computer simulations in order to understand the dynamics of COVID-19 ***,mathematical analysis of the model has been carried out in broadly by illustrating some well-known methods including exactness,equilibrium and stability analysis in terms of basic reproduction *** investigate the sensitivity of the model with respect to the variation of the parameters’***,computer simulations are performed to illustrate the *** analysis reveals that the death rate from coronavirus disease increases as the infection rate increases,whereas infection rate extensively decreases with the increase of quarantined *** quarantined individuals also lead to increase the concentration of recovered ***,the infection rate of COVID-19 increases more surprisingly as the rate of asymptomatic individuals increases than that of the symptomatic ***,the infection rate decreases significantly due to increase of self-immunity rate.

In this paper, according to the temperature and strain distribution obtained by considering the Gaussian pump profile and dependence of physical properties on temperature, we derive an analytical model for refractive index variations of the diode side-pumped Nd：YAG laser rod. Then we evaluate this model by numerical solution and our maximum relative errors are 5% and 10% for variations caused by thermo–optical and thermo–mechanical effects; respectively. Finally, we present an analytical model for calculating the focal length of the thermal lens and spherical aberration. This model is evaluated by experimental results.

Although excellent recyclability is one of the advantages of Al alloys, a recycling process can reduce different properties of these alloys by adding coarse AlFeSi particles into the alloys' microstructures. One of the well-known methods for modifying the microstructure of metallic materials is the imposition of severe plastic deformation(SPD). Nevertheless, the microstructure evolutions of recycled Al alloys containing extraordinary fractions of AlFeSi particles during SPD processing have seldom been considered. The aim of the present work is to study the microstructure evolution of a recycled Al–Fe–Si–Cu alloy during SPD processing. For this purpose, tubular specimens of the mentioned alloy were subjected to different numbers of passes of a recently developed SPD process called tube channel pressing(TCP); their microstructures were then studied using different techniques. The results show that coarse AlFeSi particles are fragmented into finer particles after processing by TCP. however, decomposition and dissolution of AlFeSi particles through TCP processing are negligible. In addition, TCP processing results in an increase in hardness of the alloy, which is attributed to the refinement of grains, to an increase of the dislocation density, and to the fragmentation of AlFeSi particles.
