Maintenance of wind turbine farms is a huge task,with associated significant risks and potential hazard to the safety and well-being of people who are responsible for carrying the tower inspection *** inspections are required for wind turbine tower to ensure that the wind turbines are in full working order,with no signs of potential ***,the development of an automated wind tower inspection system has been very cnucial for the overall performance of the renewable wind power generation *** order to determine the life span of the tower,an investigation of robot design is discussed in this *** presents how a mechanical spring-loaded climbing robot can be designed and constructed to climb and rotate 360°around the *** adjustable circular shape robot is designed that allows the device to fit in different diameters of the wind generator *** rotational module is designed to allow the wheels to rotate and be able to go in a circular *** design further incorporates a suspension that allows the robot to go through any *** paper also presents a finite element spring stress analy sis and Simulink control system model to find the optimal parameters that are required for the wind tower climbing robot.

Physiological performance in lizards may be affected by climate across latitudinal or altitudinal *** the coastal dune barriers in central-eastern Argentina,the annual maximum environmental temperature decreases up to 2℃ from low to high latitudes,while the mean relative humidity of the air decreases from 50%to 25%.Liolaemus multimaculatus,a lizard in the family Liolaemidae,is restricted to these coastal *** investigated the locomotor performance of the species at 6 different sites distributed throughout its range in these dune *** inquired whether locomotor performance metrics were sensitive to the thermal regime attributable to *** thermal performance breadth increased from 7%to 82%with latitude,due to a decrease in its critical thermal minimum of up to 5℃ at higher *** from high latitude sites showed a thermal optimum,that is,the body temperature at which maximum speed is achieved,up to 4℃lower than that of lizards from the low *** relatively low temperatures,the maximum running speed of high-latitude individuals was faster than that of low-latitude *** parameters of locomotor performance were labile,decreasing as a function of *** results show populations of *** adjust thermal physiology to cope with local climatic *** suggests that thermal sensitivity responds to the magnitude of latitudinal fluctuations in environmental temperature.

In this paper, the author examines the possibilities of leisure （studies） in Mozambique. First, the author suggests that leisure can he looked at as a social construct which resulted from the colonial regulation of native labour, particularly between 1890s and 1974. Secondly, the author proposes that people look at the conditions of possibility of leisure in a context dominated by the new moral code of conduct, a cathartic purification of the colonial mentality, introduced through the ideology of the ＂New Man＂ created by the ruling party, Frelimo. Thirdly, the author examines the possibility of leisure in the context of Mozambique＇s adherence to neo-liberalism and market-driven economy after the collapse of socialism. The author concludes by providing the ground to establish lines of inquiry for an eventual field of leisure studies.

The textile industry is a pioneer in the industrialization process in Brazil and is relevant to the Brazilian economy. However, it also generates as operational residue a solid waste,commonly called textile sludge. Pavement construction, which mobilizes large volumes of soil, constitutes an alternative to the reuse of residue, especially when stabilization is involved. The use of stabilized soils with the addition of waste can provide technical,economic and environmentally friendly advantages. This research aimed to study the use of chemical stabilization technique with sludge and three additives(lime, cement and asphalt emulsion) applied in base and subbase of pavements. The scope of this study was divided into four phases, i) characterization tests, ii) physical stabilization, iii) chemical stabilization and determination of heavy metals in the sludge, and iv) addition of 10% of textile sludge and chemical stabilizers(lime, cement, and asphalt emulsion) in amounts of 3%, 5% and 7% as additives in a soil, based on the results obtained in the second phase. Test results indicated that the stabilization of mixtures of soil with textile sludge has the potential to be used in pavement layers(base and subbase). The addition of cement promotes the best chemical stabilization for the sludge. The use of textile sludge stabilization presents greater environmental benefits, given the malfunctions and problems that the incorrect waste disposal can cause to the environment.

Plants＇ developmental plasticity plays a pivotal role in responding to environmental conditions. One of the most plastic plant organs is the root system. Different environmental stimuli such as nutrients and water deficiency may induce lateral root formation to compensate for a low level of water and/or nutrients. It has been shown that the hor- mone auxin tunes lateral root development and components for its signaling pathway have been identified. Using chemi- cal biology, we discovered an Arabidopsis thaliana lateral root formation mechanism that is independent of the auxin receptor SCFTM. The bioactive compound Sortin2 increased lateral root occurrence by acting upstream from the morpho- logical marker of lateral root primordium formation, the mitotic activity. The compound did not display auxin activity. At the cellular level, Sortin2 accelerated endosomal trafficking, resulting in increased trafficking of plasma membrane recy- cling proteins to the vacuole. Sortin2 affected Late endosome/PVC/MVB trafficking and morphology. Combining Sortin2 with well-known drugs showed that endocytic trafficking of Late E/PVC/MVB towards the vacuole is pivotal for Sortin2- induced SCFTm-independent lateral root initiation. Our results revealed a distinctive role for endosomal trafficking in the promotion of lateral root formation via a process that does not rely on the auxin receptor complex SCFTM.

Auxin is a key phytohormone that modulates fruit formation in many fleshy fruits through the regulation of cell division and *** content rapidly increases after pollination and the manipulation in its levels may lead to the parthenocarpic *** Vitis vinifera L.,little is known about the early fruit development that encompasses from pollination to fruit ***/fertilization events trigger fruit formation,and auxin treatment mimics their effect in grape berry ***,the role of auxin in this process at the molecular level is not well *** elucidate the participation of auxin in grapevine fruit formation,morphological,reproductive,and molecular events from anthesis to fruit set were described in sequential days after *** RNA-seq analysis at four time points from anthesis to fruit set revealed that the highest percentage of genes induced/repressed within the hormone-related gene category were auxin-related *** profiling showed significant transcript variations in auxin signaling and homeostasis-related genes during the early fruit *** acetic acid and several auxin metabolites were present during this ***,application of an inhibitor of auxin action reduced cell number and the mesocarp diameter,similarly to unpollinated berries,further confirming the key role of auxin during early berry *** work sheds light into the molecular features of the initial fruit development and highlights the auxin participation during this stage in grapevine.

AIM: To demographically and clinically characterize inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) from the local registry and update data previously published by our ***: A descriptive study of a cohort based on a registry of patients aged 15 years or older who were diagnosed with IBD and attended the IBD program at Clínica Las Condes in Santiago, Chile. The registry was created in April 2012 and includes patients registered up to October 2015. The information was anonymously downloaded in a monthly report, and the information on patients with more than one visit was updated. The registry includes demographic, clinical and disease characteristics, including the Montreal Classification, medical treatment, surgeries and hospitalizations for crisis. Data regarding infection with Clostridium difficile (C. difficile) were incorporated in the registry in 2014. Data for patients who received consultations as second opinions and continued treatment at this institution were also ***: The study included 716 patients with IBD: 508 patients (71%) were diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (UC), 196 patients (27%) were diagnosed with Crohn’s disease (CD) and 12 patients (2%) were diagnosed with unclassifiable IBD. The UC/CD ratio was 2.6/1. The median age was 36 years (range 16-88), and 58% of the patients were female, with a median age at diagnosis of 29 years (range 5-76). In the past 15 years, a sustained increase in the number of patients diagnosed with IBD was observed, where 87% of the patients were diagnosed between the years 2001 and 2015. In the cohort examined in the present study, extensive colitis (50%) and colonic involvement (44%) predominated in the patients with UC and CD, respectively. In CD patients, non-stricturing/non-penetrating behavior was more frequent (80%), and perianal disease was observed in 28% of the patients.
