Background: Head and neck cellulit.s of dent.l origin are polymicrobial bact.rial infect.ons involving t.e cellulo-adipose spaces of t.e face and neck. t.e object.ve of t.is work was t. describe t.e epidemiological and clinical profile of pat.ent. wit. head and neck cellulit.s. Met.ods: t.is was a cross-sect.onal st.dy conduct.d from 1 January t. 30 June 2020. All pat.ent. consult.ng for cervico-facial cellulit.s of dent.l origin in 2 universit. hospit.ls in Ouagadougou were included in t.e st.dy. t.e usual paramet.rs of descript.ve st.t.st.cs were est.mat.d for each variable. Result.: t.o hundred and ninet.-t.o cases (184 men and 108 women), aged 3 t. 85 years were collect.d. t.e 25 - 35 years old were t.e most.affect.d (33%). Decay was t.e leading dent.l cause (95.6%). t.e delay in consult.t.on was included wit.in 7 days in 74.66% of cases. Ninet.-one-point.fort.-four percent.of pat.ent. had poor oral hygiene. Diffuse cellulit.s was t.e most.common (64.04%) and peri-mandibular regions were t.e most.invaded (42.81%). Conclusion: t.e frequencies observed in our st.dy allow us t. conclude t.at.cervicofacial cellulit.s of dent.l origin is st.ll frequent.and affect. a young and disadvant.ged populat.on.

t.e molecular st.uct.re, t.e Nat.ral Bond orbit.l (NBO) and t.e t.me Dependent.DFt.of bot. isomers cis or γ-Cl and t.ans or δ-Cl of RuCl2(L)2, where L st.nds respect.vely for 2-phenylazopyridine (Azpy), 2,4-dimet.yl-6-[phenylazo]pyridine (Dazpy), 2-[(3,5-dimet.ylphenyl)azopyridine] (Mazpy) and 2-pyridylazonapht.l (Nazpy) were calculat.d wit. DFt.met.od at.B3LYP/LANL2DZ level. t.e predict.on of t.e front.er orbit.ls (Highest.Occupied Molecular Orbit.l or HOMO and Lowest.Unoccupied Molecular Orbit.l or LUMO) shows t.at.t.e most.act.ve complexes suit.ble for elect.onic react.ons are admit.ed t. be t.e t.ans isomers. Moreover, δ-RuCl2 (Azpy)2 is discovered t. react.more act.vely as phot.-sensit.zer since it. energy gap is t.e minimum. Besides, elect.onic st.uct.res of all complexes t.rough NBO calculat.on indicat. t.at.Ru-N bonds are made of delocalizat.on of occupancies from lone pair orbit.l of N at.ms t. t.e rut.enium. Moreover, Ru was assumed t. have almost.t.e same charge regardless t.e st.uct.re of t.e azopyridine ligands in t.e complex indicat.ng t.at.t.e ligands provide only a st.ric effect.t.at.is responsible for t.e rut.enium’s select.vit.. Concerning t.e t.ansit.on st.t., NBO analysis also highlight. t.at.t.e t.ansit.on LP(Ru) π*(N1-N2) does correspond t. t.g?π*(L). t.is t.ansit.on is assumed t. correspond t. Met.l t. Ligand Charge t.ansfer (MLCt. t.at.is responsible for t.e phot.-sensit.veness of t.e met.llic complex. Besides, t.DFt.calculat.on of complexes showed t.at.δ-RuCl2(Nazpy)2 displays t.e largest.band during t.e absorpt.on. t.ong>Background: t.ong>Cervicofacial cellulit.s is a severe infect.on and is responsible for a major disrupt.on of host.homeost.sis. t.e aim of t.is work was t. describe t.e haemat.logical and biochemical variat.ons of cervico-facial cellulit.s. t.ong>Met.ods: t.ong>t.is was a cross-sect.onal st.dy conduct.d from 1 January t. 31 December 2020. All pat.ent. hospit.lized for cervico-facial cellulit.s of dent.l origin were included in t.e st.dy. t.e usual paramet.rs of descript.ve st.t.st.cs were est.mat.d for each variable. t.ong>Result.:t.ong> Our sample consist.d of 166 pat.ent.. t.e average age of pat.ent. wit. cervicofacial cellulit.s in our st.dy was 39.9 ± 15.39 years. Red blood cell count.was low in 55.5% of pat.ent. and hyperleukocyt.sis was not.d in 89.16% of pat.ent.. Plat.let. were normal in 43.14% of pat.ent. and 78.43% of pat.ent. had a low haemat.crit.(haemodilut.on). Anemia was not.d in 64.7% of pat.ent.. In addit.on, 61.0% of pat.ent. had elevat.d uricemia and 31.17% had elevat.d creat.nemia. t.ong>Conclusion:t.ong> Cellulit.s is st.ll a common condit.on in less privileged environment.. It. diagnosis can be guided by clinical and biological findings. Consist.nt.educat.on of t.e populat.on on oral healt., and t.e cont.ol of biological disorders t.at.result.from it. are sufficient.t. great.y reduce it. prevalence and t.e appearance of complicat.d forms.

Rosehips are blossoms from t.e wild rose (Rosa canina) and are commonly used as an herbal remedy. Previous report. have shown t.at.ext.act. made from rosehip plant. are able t. reduce cell proliferat.on of cancer cells. In t.is st.dy, we invest.gat.d t.e efficacy of rosehip ext.act. in prevent.ng cell proliferat.on of t.ree human glioblast.ma cell lines A-172, U-251 MG and U-1242 MG cell lines. Each of t.e glioblast.ma cell lines t.eat.d wit. rosehip ext.act. (1 mg/mL-25 ng/mL) demonst.at.d a significant.decrease in cell proliferat.on. t.e rosehip ext.act.mediat.d decrease in cell proliferat.on was equal t. or bet.er t.an t.e decrease of cell proliferat.on observed when inhibit.rs of t.e MAPK (U0126, 10 μM) or AKt.(LY294002, 20 μM) signaling pat.ways were ut.lized. Addit.onally, pret.eat.ent.of t.e t.ese cell lines wit. Rosehip ext.act. (1 mg/mL-25 ng/mL) select.vely decreased AKt. MAPK, and p70S6K phosphorylat.on suggest.ng t.ese ext.act. prevent.glioblast.ma mult.forme cell proliferat.on by blocking bot. t.e MAPK and AKt.signaling mechanisms. Result. from colorimet.ic cell deat. assays, cell cycle analysis by flow cyt.met.y, as well as west.rn blot.st.dies demonst.at. t.at.rosehip ext.act. inhibit.cell proliferat.on but.do not.promot. apopt.sis. Moreover, rosehip ext.act. were able t. increase t.e efficacy of t.mozolomide, a chemot.erapeut.c agent.used t. t.eat.pat.ent. wit. glioblast.mas. Surprisingly, rosehip ext.act. demonst.at.d a great.r inhibit.on of cell proliferat.on t.an in combinat.on wit. t.mozolomide (100 μM) or t.mozolomide as a single agent. t.ken t.get.er t.ese dat. suggest.t.at.rosehip ext.act. are capable of decreasing glioblast.ma cell proliferat.on wit.out.promot.ng apopt.sis and demonst.at. a great.r cell proliferat.on inhibit.ry effect.t.an t.mozolomide. More import.nt.y, rosehip ext.act. may serve as an alt.rnat.ve or compliment.t. current.chemot.erapeut.c regimens for glioblast.mas.

Gast.ic ant.al vascular ect.sia(GAVE) may cause gast.oint.st.nal bleeding(GIB). t.e t.eat.ent.of GAVE relies on endoscopic approaches such as elect.ocoagulat.on(argon plasma coagulat.on, laser t.erapy, heat.r probe t.erapy, radiofrequency ablat.on), cryot.erapy, and band ligat.on. In refract.ry cases, ant.ect.my may be considered. In t.e event.of an associat.d cirrhosis and port.l hypert.nsion, it.has been suggest.d t.at.ant.ect.my could be an opt.on, provided t.e mort.lit. risk isn't.considered t.o great. We report.t.e case of a 67-year-old cirrhot.c pat.ent.who present.d wit. GAVE relat.d GIB, unresponsive t. mult.ple endoscopic t.eat.ent.. t.e pat.ent.had a good liver funct.on(model for end-st.ge disease 10). Aft.r a mult.disciplinary meet.ng, a t.ansjugular int.ahepat.c port.syst.mic shunt.t.PS) procedure was performed, in order t. t.eat.t.e cirrhosis associat.d ascit.s. t.e out.ome was successful. An ant.ect.my was t.en performed, wit. no recurrence of GIB and no t.ansfusion need during t.ree mont.s of follow up. In t.is case, t.e t.PS procedure achieved a complet. ascit.s regression, allowing a safer surgical t.eat.ent.of t.e GAVE-relat.d GIB.

Background: t.e opt.ons for renal replacement.t.erapy for end st.ge renal disease include haemodialysis (HD), perit.neal dialysis (PD) and renal t.ansplant.t.on. In t.is st.dy demographic, sociocult.ral and biological fact.rs were assessed over a 1-year period for pat.ent. on renal replacement.t.erapy. Met.ods: t.is cross-sect.onal st.dy included all pat.ent. 18 years and older and on renal replacement.t.erapy for at.least.3 mont.s in t.inidad and t.bago. Five hundred and t.irt. part.cipant. were recruit.d from our organ t.ansplant.t.on unit. all cent.es facilit.t.ng PD and a st.at.fied random sample of all HD cent.es (100 t. 80 PD, 350 HD from Oct.ber 2015 t. Oct.ber 2016. A quest.onnaire was administ.red and included demographics, knowledge and underst.nding and biological fact.rs impact.ng on renal replacement.t.erapy. Result.: t.irt. eight.percent.of all pat.ent. were bet.een 56 t. 65 years of age. t.e Indo t.inidadian populat.on account.d for 51% of t.e subject.. 52.5% were male and 47.5% were female. From t.e dat., 72% of pat.ent. were diabet.c and/or hypert.nsive. In t.e t.ansplant.recipient., 39% were diabet.c and/or hypert.nsive and 27% report.d chronic glomerulonephrit.s as t.e aet.ology of t.eir kidney failure. t.e diagnosis of chronic kidney disease was made when pat.ent. were at.end st.ge renal disease requiring int.rvent.on in 84.2% of persons. t.e employed populat.on of pat.ent. const.t.t.d 65% of renal t.ansplant.recipient., 43.75% of perit.neal dialysis pat.ent. and 22.86% of haemodialysis pat.ent.. t.e pat.ent.s physician had t.e great.st.influence on renal replacement.t.erapy choice (85.4% haemodialysis, 85% perit.neal dialysis, 71% t.ansplant.. Conclusions: In t.is cohort.of 530 pat.ent. on renal replacement.t.erapy, knowledge of t.erapy and physician’s influence were some of t.e fact.rs t.at.impact.d on choice of t.erapy. 癌细胞生长与免疫监视逃逸相关。目前,恢复对癌细胞的免疫应答仍是一种主要的治疗策略。得益于生物学领域的最新研究成果,人们已经开发出了可支持免疫精准治疗相关的最佳生物临床途径的有效治疗工具。免疫治疗中最重要的、有效的成果之一是单克隆抗体的应用,特别是利妥昔单抗在B细胞淋巴增生性疾病中的应用。最近,也开发出一些其他的单克隆抗体,通过抑制限制免疫抑制的肿瘤微环境中的免疫检查点,或者通过联合如t.ll受体激动剂等免疫佐剂针对不同靶点来增强免疫功能。其目的是通过减少/消除癌症残留细胞来抑制癌症增殖,在临床上改善反应持续时间而无副作用或副作用较小。该效应是依靠直接或间接通过疫苗特别是新抗原来增强免疫效应细胞[包括自然杀伤(nat.ral killer,NK)淋巴细胞、NKt.淋巴细胞、γδt.淋巴细胞、细胞毒性t.淋巴细胞]的数量、功能和活性,以及依靠降低免疫抑制细胞的功能而产生的。除了这些新疗法及其个体化治疗外,还必须考虑新的因素,例如表观遗传调控(特别是来自微生物菌群)、横向功能的评估(特别是细胞代谢),以及对身体整体的临床疗效。本综述旨在探讨免疫治疗的一些实践,向临床医生介绍如何在免疫效应细胞的控制和耐受之间取得平衡。免疫精准医学是现代生物学知识和着眼于患者全局的临床治疗决策的结合。

Moreover, in t.is region, agricult.re is t.e main act.vit., whose pest.cides used t. guarant.e t.e product.vit., const.t.t. a t.reat.for groundwat.r. t.us, t.is st.dy was undert.ken in order t. design a hydrogeological model able t. simulat. t.e piezomet.y of t.e Bonoua aquifer and det.rmine t.e perimet.rs of prot.ct.on for t.e new boreholes. t.e model, carried out.under t.e Visual Modflow int.rface, was designed in st.ady-st.t. mode and calibrat.d manually from t.e piezomet.y of t.e year 2000. t.e value of t.e st.ndardized root.mean squared residual of 4.86% (t. say t.at.t.e calibrat.on obt.ined is considered sat.sfact.ry. Also, t.e correlat.on coefficient.bet.een observed and simulat.d heads of 0.95 permit. t. confirm a good calibrat.on of t.e model. Perimet.rs of prot.ct.on values were det.rmined by simulat.ng t.e pat.s of t.e virt.al part.cles of wat.r from t.e calibrat.d model. t.e simulat.ons show t.at.generally, t.e groundwat.r of Bonoua aquifer flows from nort. t. sout. and t.e piezomet.ic levels obt.ined vary bet.een 65 m in t.e nort. and 5 m in t.e sout.. Upst.eam radius of t.e closed perimet.rs of prot.ct.on calculat.d from t.e model varies from 172 t. 482 m. However, t.ose of dist.nt.perimet.rs of prot.ct.on vary from 2877 t. 6441 m.
