Fractured Feminine Selves,Autospecular Affect,and Global Modernity:Meena Alexander and the Postcolonial Artist as a Woman

This essay takes up the modernist tradition of representing fractured feminine selves in the work of contemporary Asian-American author Meena Alexander(1951-2018),examining her representation of the postcolonial artist through a critical exploration o f autospecular *** on m odernist im pulses—the breakdown o f human communication,the inefficacy of language,as well as experiences of alienation—Alexander depicts the creative act for the postcolonial artist as suffused with an autospecular desire to connect fragmented,displaced psyches through a reassessment of *** delineates possibilities of moving past Eurocentric modernism through her articulation of the struggles of the postcolonial artist dealing with global *** from theories of specularity within affective paradigms,I trace the phenomenological process of self-other engagement in Alexander’s references to the autospecular subject looking in the mirror to understand herself and others around her.I also highlight how modernist writers such as Joyce,Eliot,and Woolf offer Alexander a metaphorical mirror wherein she sees the anxieties of the postcolonial artist and reflects them through renderings of their creative *** essay concludes with a theoretical interpretation of Alexander’s autoscopic experiences in terms of Jacques Lacan’s“mirror stage theory”to understand subject formation in her work.

There is lot of work done in prediction of the fault proneness of the software systems. But, it is the severity of the faults that is more important than number of faults existing in the developed system as the major faults matters most for a developer and those major faults needs immediate attention. As, Neural networks, which have been already applied in software engineering applications to build reliability growth models predict the gross change or reusability metrics. In which majority of faults are found in a few of its modules so there is a need to investigate the modules that are affected severely as compared to other modules and proper maintenance need to be done in time especially for the critical applications. In this paper, Resilient Backpropagation based Neural Network ＆ fuzzy clustering Based techniques are discussed and comparative analysis is performed in order to predict level of impact of faults in NASA’s public domain defect dataset. Predicting faults in the software life cycle can be used to improve software process control and achieve high software reliability. The results show that when the best prediction techniques are evaluated.

Fault-proneness of a software module is the probability that the module contains faults. A correlation exists between the fault-proneness of the software and the measurable attributes of the code（i.e. the static metrics） and of the testing（i.e. the dynamic metrics）. Static code metrics such as Halstead complexity, Cyclomatic complexity, McC abe’s complexity measure are inefficient to measure quality. The use of single features of software to predict faults is uninformative. Therefore Artificial Neural Network is used for software defect prediction. An Artificial Neural Network（ANN） is an information-processing paradigm that is inspired by the way a biological nervous system in human brain works. Large number of neurons present in the human brain forms the key element of the neural network paradigm and act as elementary processing elements. These neurons are highly interconnected and work in unison to solve complex problems. Likewise, an Artificial Neural Network can be configured to solve a number of difficult and complex problems. Neural Network Approaches such as Multilayer Perceptron ＆ RBF are used for software Defect prediction on Quantitative and Qualitative factors.

Predicting Yield and Stability Analysis of Wheat under Different Crop Management Systems across Agro-Ecosystems in India

The objectives of the study were as follows: 1) to evaluate the GxExM for wheat genotypes;2) to predict yield performance and identify high stable wheat genotypes in different management practices;and 3) to make genotype-specific management and high performing genotype recommendations within and across agro-ecological regions. A diverse set of twenty-one genotypes was evaluated over three years (2012, 2013 and 2014) under two levels of crop management practices (CT and ZT) across three agro-ecological regions (BR, MP and PB) of India in replicated trials. Data were analyzed with SASGxE and RGxE programs using SAS and R programming languages, respectively. Across and within a location(s), the pattern of GxExM and GxMxY interactions (respectively) among univariate and multivariate stability statistics, grouping of genotypes in divisive clusters and estimates (with a prediction interval) of genotype varied in management practice CT and ZT. Across locations, the genotypes “Munal” and “HD-2967” were the best performers and high stable in CT and ZT, respectively. Genotypes “HD-2824” and “DPW-621-50”, and “Munal” may serve as diverse parents for developing high quality, climate smart, locally adapted genotypes for BR in CT and ZT, respectively. Genotypes “HD-2932”, “BAZ” and “JW-3288”, and “GW-322” and “HD-2967” are suitable for developing locally adapted stress tolerant genotypes for MP in management practices CT and ZT, respectively. Relatively small GxM and GxExM interactions in PB preclude in making definitive conclusions.

Objective Hemophilia A,an X-linked bleeding disorder,affecting 1 in 5 000 males is caused by heterogeneous mutations in factor Ⅷ *** mutation in intron 22 of F8C gene remains its leading *** aim of this study was to evaluate the frequency and distribution of the intron 22-inversion mutation in the patients and in the family members in the *** 29 hemophilia A patients from Jammu and Kashmir(20 severe,8 moderate and 1 mild) were analyzed for intron 22-inversion *** 11(38%) were positive for the distal type of inversion *** mutation was found in 9/20(45%) patients with severe factor Ⅷ deficiency and 2/8(25%) with moderate severity hemophilia A,whereas the patient with mild hemophilia A was found to be negative for inversion *** of twenty-six female relatives from 11 families of inversion mutation positive patients identified one mother and one sister from one family to be the carrier,suggesting its origin in the mother. Conclusion The present study confirms the intron-22 inversion mutation in F8C gene as the major cause of hemophilia A in the population from Jammu and Kashmir with a higher frequency of inversion mutation in sporadic cases compared to the familial cases.
