In response to the shortcomings of Dwarf Mongoose Optimization(DMO)algorithm,such as insufficient exploitation capability and slow convergence speed,this paper proposes a multi-strategy enhanced DMO,referred to as ***,we propose an improved solution search equation that utilizes the Gbest-guided strategy with different parameters to achieve a trade-off between exploration and exploitation(EE).Secondly,the Lévy flight is introduced to increase the diversity of population distribution and avoid the algorithm getting stuck in a local *** addition,in order to address the problem of low convergence efficiency of DMO,this study uses the strong nonlinear convergence factor Sigmaid function as the moving step size parameter of the mongoose during collective activities,and combines the strategy of the salp swarm leader with the mongoose for cooperative optimization,which enhances the search efficiency of agents and accelerating the convergence of the algorithm to the global optimal solution(Gbest).Subsequently,the superiority of GLSDMO is verified on CEC2017 and CEC2019,and the optimization effect of GLSDMO is analyzed in *** results show that GLSDMO is significantly superior to the compared algorithms in solution quality,robustness and global convergence rate on most test ***,the optimization performance of GLSDMO is verified on three classic engineering examples and one truss topology optimization *** simulation results show that GLSDMO achieves optimal costs on these real-world engineering problems.

Efficient N fertilizer management is critical for the economic production of rice and the long-term protection of environmental quality. A field experiment was designed to study the effects of N fertilizer management practices on grain yield and N uptake office. The experiment was laid out in the randomized complete block design with four replications in Central China during 2008 and 2009. Five N treatments denoted as No, NIsoA, N15oB, N24OA, and N24oB, respectively, were studied. NO represented no N application and served as a control, N15OA and N15oB indicated the total N application of 150 kg N ha-I but with two different application schedules （A and B） across the early stage of rice growth. Schedule A was applied as follows： 40% basal, 30% at 10 d after transplanting （DAT） and 30% at 36 DAT （nearly at the panicle initiation stage）, while schedule B was as follows： 30% at basal, 20% at 10 DAT, and 50% at 36 DAT. Similarly, N240A and N240B indicated the total N application of 240 kg N ha-1 with schedules A and B as described above. To quantify N uptake from fertilizer and soil, a 15N experiment was also conducted within the main experimental field, with micro-plots. Grain yields were significantly increased as N rates increased from 0 to 240 kg N ha-1. At the same rate, splitting N application as schedule B significantly increased the grain yield, spikelets per panicle, percentage of ripened grain, and 1 000-grain weight, compared with the N application according to schedule A. Mean rice recovery of N fertilizer by ~SN tracing method ranged from 25.39% at N24oA to 34.89% at NIsoB, however, N fertilizer residual rate in the soil ranged from 12.40% at N240A to 16.61% at N^s0w About 31.5 and 28.5% of total uptake of ~SN derived from basal fertilizer was absorbed at panicle initiation and heading stages, respectively. The Lower Cambrian shale gas in the western Hubei area,South China has a great resource prospect,but the gas-in-place(GIP)content in different sedimentary facies varies widely,and the relevant mechanism has been not well *** the present study,two sets of the Lower Cambrian shale samples from the Wells YD4 and YD5 in the western Hubei area,representing the deep-water shelf facies and shallowwater platform facies,respectively,were investigated on the differences of pore types,pore structure and methane adsorption capacity between them,and the main controlling factor and mechanism of their methane adsorption capacities and GIP contents were *** results show that the organic matter(OM)pores in the YD4 shale samples are dominant,while the inorganic mineral(IM)pores in the YD5 shale samples are primary,with underdeveloped OM *** pore specific surface area(SSA)and pore volume(PV)of the YD4 shale samples are mainly from micropores and mesopores,respectively,while those of the YD5 shale samples are mainly from micropores and macropores,*** methane adsorption capacity of the YD4 shale samples is significantly higher than that of the YD5 shale samples,with a maximum absolute adsorption capacity of 3.13 cm^(3)/g and 1.31 cm^(3)/g in average,*** with the shallow-water platform shale,the deep-water shelf shale has a higher TOC content,a better kerogen type and more developed OM pores,which is the main mechanism for its higher adsorption *** GIP content models based on two samples with a similar TOC content selected respectively from the Wells YD4 and YD5 further indicate that the GIP content of the deep-water shelf shale is mainly 34 m^(3)/t within a depth range of 1000—4000 m,with shale gas exploration and development potential,while the shallow-water platform shale has normally a GIP content of<1 m^(3)/t,with little shale gas *** the geological and geochemical conditions of shale gas formation a

In order to reduce the environmental impact of conventional sludge treatment methods and to utilize the energy in sludge more effectively,a coupled system based on sewage sludge gasifier(SSG),solid oxide fuel cells(SOFC),supercritical CO_(2)cycle(S-CO_(2)),and organic Rankine cycle(ORC)is *** clean syngas obtained from sludge gasification is mixed with CH4 and then first utilized by the fuel *** exhaust gas from the fuel cell is fully combusted in the afterburning chamber and then enters the bottom cycle system consisting of S-CO_(2)&ORC to generate *** understand the performance of the system,thermodynamic and economic analyses were conducted to examine the project's *** thermodynamics as well as the economics of the coupled system were analyzed to arrive at the following conclusions,the power production of the system is 37.34 MW;the exergy efficiency is 55.62%,and the net electrical efficiency is 61.48%.The main exergy destruction is the gasifier and SOFC,accounting for 62.45%of the total exergy *** takes only6.13 years to repay the construction investment in the novel system,and the project obtains a NPV of 17723820USD during 20 years *** above findings indicate that the new coupled system has a better performance in terms of energy utilization and economy.

Owing to its high production volume and wide range of application s,polyethylene has gained a great deal of attention,but its low surface energy and non-polar nature have limited its application in some important *** this study,ethylene/11-iodo-1-undecene copolymers were prepared and used as the intermediates to afford a series of imidazolium-based ionomers bearing methanesulfonate(CH_(3)SO_(3)^(-)),trifluoromethanesulfonate(CF_(3)SO_(3)^(-)),or bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide(Tf_(2)N^(-))*** tensile test results showed that the stress-at-break(7.8-25.6 MPa)and the elongation-at-break(445%-847%)of the ionomers could be adjusted by changing the counterion species and the ionic group *** importantly,the ionomers exhibited marvelous antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus(***)and Escherichia coli(***).The ionomers bearing Tf_(2)N^(-)exhibited antibacterial activities>99%against both *** and *** when ionic content reached 9.1%.The imidazolium-based ionomers prepared in this work demonstrated excellent comprehensive properties,especially highefficient and broad-spectrum antibacterial ability,exhibiting the potential fo r the application as the antibacterial materials in packaging,medical,and other fields.

In the era of large-scale pretrained models, artificial neural networks（ANNs） have excelled in natural language understanding（NLU） tasks. However, their success often necessitates substantial computational resources and energy consumption. To address this, we explore the potential of spiking neural networks（SNNs） in NLU——a promising avenue with demonstrated advantages, including reduced power consumption and improved efficiency due to their event-driven characteristics. We propose the SpikingMiniLM,a novel spiking Transformer model tailored for natural language understanding. We first introduce a multi-step encoding method to convert text embeddings into spike trains. Subsequently, we redesign the attention mechanism and residual connections to make our model operate on the pure spike-based paradigm without any normalization technique. To facilitate stable and fast convergence, we propose a general parameter initialization method grounded in the stable firing rate principle. Furthermore, we apply an ANN-to-SNN knowledge distillation to overcome the challenges of pretraining SNNs. Our approach achieves a macro-average score of 75.5 on the dev sets of the GLUE benchmark, retaining 98% of the performance exhibited by the teacher model MiniLMv2. Our smaller model also achieves similar performance to BERTMINIwith fewer parameters and much lower energy consumption, underscoring its competitiveness and resource efficiency in NLU tasks.

The negative effects of habitat loss on biodiversity are undisputed,while the effect of habitat configuration,i.e.,the spatial arrangement of habitat area,has been debated for *** develop a more comprehensive understanding,it is important to know when and how configuration *** this study,we tested whether forest configuration influences the richness of species in groups characterized by varying shade tolerance in different ways and how such effects are related to habitat amount(i.e.,the percentage of forest cover)at the landscape *** on 104 survey plots(each measuring 1km^(2))of vascular plants on the Swiss Plateau,and using two statistical approaches(i.e.,multiple regression and path analysis),we modeled the effects of habitat amount and configuration(measured as number of forest patches,total edge length,and proximity index)across all the plots and separately for three habitat amount classes:30%forest *** we modeled all plots together,we found that,after controlling for habitat amount,the forest configuration significantly affected species *** we considered the different habitat amount classes separately,most of the significant effects of habitat configuration on species richness occurred only for habitat amounts of<10%forest ***,the response to forest configuration differed among species with different shade *** forest area was<10%,the effects of the number of patches and the total edge length on the species richness of light-demanding forest species were greater than the effect of habitat amount,whereas neither configuration metric affected the richness of shade-tolerant *** conclusion,our findings highlight the importance of configuration in landscapes with a small amount of *** the same time,they demonstrate that considering the confounding factors(*** traits)is important for understanding the effects of forest configuration on biodiversity and that genera
