Rechargeable Mg batteries(RMBs)have become one of the best subsitutes for lithium-ion batteries due to the high volumetric capacity,abundant resources,and uniform plating behavior of Mg metal ***,the safety hazard induced by the formation of high-modulue Mg dendrites under a high current density(10 mA cm^(-1))was still revealed in recent *** has forced researchers to re-examine the safety of *** this review,the intrinsic safety factors of key components in RMBs,such as uneven plating,pitting and flammability of Mg anode,heat release and crystalline water decomposition of cathode,strong corrosion,low oxidition stability and flammability of electrolytes,and soforth,are systematacially *** origins,formation mechanisms,and possible safety hazards are deeply *** develop high-performance Mg anode,current strategies including designing artificial SEI,three-dimensional substrates,and Mg alloys are *** practical electrolytes,the configurations of boron-centered anions and simple Mg salts and the functionalized solvent with high boiling point and low flammability are suggested to comprehensively *** addition,the future study should more focus on the investigation on the thermal runaway and decomposition of cathode materials and *** review aims to provide fundamental insights into the relationship between electrochemistry and safety,further promoting the sustainable development of RMBs.

Low Surface Brightness Galaxies Selected by Different Model Fitting

We present a study of low surface brightness galaxies(LSBGs) selected by fitting the images for all the galaxies inα.40 SDSS DR7 sample with two kinds of single-component models and two kinds of two-component models(disk+bulge):single exponential,single sersic,exponential+deVaucular(exp+deV),and exponential+sérsic(exp+ser).Under the criteria of the B band disk central surface brightness μ_(0,disk)(B)≥22.5 mag arcsec^(-2) and the axis ratio b/a> 0.3,we selected four none-edge-on LSBG samples from each of the models which contain 1105,1038,207,and 75 galaxies,*** are 756 galaxies in common between LSBGs selected by exponential and sersic models,corresponding to 68.42% of LSBGs selected by the exponential model and 72.83% of LSBGs selected by the sersic model,the rest of the discrepancy is due to the difference in obtaining μ_(0) between the exponential and sersic *** on the fitting,in the range of 0.5≤n≤1.5,the relation of μ_(0) from two models can be written as μ_(0,sérsic)-μ_(0,exp)=-1.34(n-1).The LSBGs selected by disk+bulge models(LSBG_(2)comps) are more massive than LSBGs selected by single-component models(LSBG_1comp),and also show a larger disk *** the bulges in the majority of our LSBG_(2)comps are not prominent,more than 60% of our LSBG_(2)comps will not be selected if we adopt a single-component model *** also identified 31 giant low surface brightness galaxies(gLSBGs) from LSBG_(2)*** are located at the same region in the color-magnitude diagram as other *** we compared different criteria of gLSBGs selection,we find that for gas-rich LSBGs,M_(*)> 10^(10)M_⊙ is the best to distinguish between gLSBGs and normal LSBGs with bulge.

The ovary generally undergoes tissue remodeling during larval to pupal transition,which includes membrane degeneration and ovariole *** the same time,the hormones produced by insects significantly change during ***,the regulatory mechanism for ovarian development and hormones is not fully understood in ***,we found that matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2)was highly expressed in the ovarian capsules and ovarioles,and the development was abnormal after knocking out MMP2 in Bombyx *** process of abnormal degradation of collagen I due to MMP2 deletion,which resulted in abnormal development of ovarioles and eggs,was analyzed in *** proteomics of ovaries in the MMP2-knock out and wild type strains showed a critically significant difference in the expression of a protein,insulin-like peptide(ILP).Additional analysis revealed significant alteration of ILP during ovarian development,and abnormal expression of ILP significantly affected ovarian development in vivo and MMP2 expression in vitro and in *** results showed that MMP2 regulation of ovarian tissue remodeling is closely related to ILP *** study provides new insights into the regulatory mechanism of MMP2 and ovarian development in ***.

Relationship between Waist Circumference and Elevation of Carotid Intima-media Thickness in Newly-diagnosed Diabetic Patients

Objective Waist circumference, as a brief indicator of visceral obesity, is associated with multi-metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases. The present study was aimed to find out the relationship between waist circumference and carotid intima media thickness （C-IMT）, as well as the best waist circumference cutoff for identifying C-IMT elevation in Chinese male patients with newly-diagnosed diabetes. Methods Five hundred and seventy-eight patients from Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism in Shanghai Sixth People＇s Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University were enrolled. Both physical examination （for measurement of waist circumference） and carotid ultrasonography （for measurement of C-IMT） were performed. Results After grouping according to the quartiles of C-IMT, the waist circumference increased across all its quartiles. The waist circumference in 3rd and 4th quartiles （90.7_＋9.8 cm and 90.8＋9.6 cm） was significant higher than in 1st and 2nd quartiles （P〈0.05）. When subjects were divided into 4 groups according to waist circumference, the C-IMT of subjects with waist circumference 90-95 cm was significant higher than that of subjects with waist circumference 85-90 cm and less than 85 cm respectively （P〈0.05）. Both spearman and partial correlation analysis showed that C-IMT was positively correlated with waist circumference （P〈0.01）. C-IMT was found significantly elevated with the increase of waist circumference. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that waist circumference was one of the independent risk factors of C-IMT. After an average of 2.23_＋0.85 years follow up, there was a significant elevation of C-IMT in the group with baseline waist circumference over 90 cm P〈0.05）, while no significant difference was detected in the group with baseline waist circumference less than 90 cm （P=0.27）. A semi-analytical pressure and rate transient analysis model for inner boundary and propped fractures exhibiting dynamic behavior under long-term production conditions

The loss of hydrocarbon production caused by the dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures under long-term production conditions has been widely reported in recent studies. However,the quantitative relationships for the variations of the inner boundary and propped fractures have not been determined and incorporated in the semi-analytical models for the pressure and rate transient analysis. This work focuses on describing the variations of the inner boundary and propped fractures and capturing the typical characteristics from the pressure transient curves.A generalized semi-analytical model was developed to characterize the dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures under long-term production conditions. The pressure-dependent length shrinkage coefficients, which quantify the length changes of the inner zone and propped fractures, are modified and incorporated into this multi-zone semi-analytical model. With simultaneous numerical iterations and numerical inversions in Laplace and real-time space, the transient solutions to pressure and rate behavior are determined in just a few seconds. The dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures on transient pressure curves is divided into five periods: fracture bilinear flow(FR1),dynamic PFs flow(FR2), inner-area linear flow(FR3), dynamic inner boundary flow(FR4), and outer-area dominated linear flow(FR5). The early hump during FR2 period and a positive upward shift during FR4period are captured on the log-log pressure transient curves, reflecting the dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures during the long-term production *** transient pressure behavior will exhibit greater positive upward trend and the flow rate will be lower with the shrinkage of the inner boundary.
