Rare earth-doped spinel nano ferrites are attaining importance as heterogeneous nanocatalysts for the degradation of organic *** earth metal doping increases the electrical and optical properties,as well as the surface-to-volume ratio of the bare *** this work,Nife_(2)O_(4)(Nf) and Nd-Nife_(2)O_(4)(Nf-1) were successfully synthesized via the co-precipitation *** nanotubes(CNT)-based nanocomposite(Nf-2) was prepared using the ultra-sonication *** prepared materials were analyzed via various physiochemical *** degradation efficiency of these materials was analyzed for the degradation of Rhodamine B,methylene blue,and benzoic acid,Nf-2 shows the highest efficiency among all the prepared ***-2 shows 83.87%,90.80%,and 66.96% degradation of Rhodamine B,methylene blue,and benzoic acid,*** reason for the superior activity of Nf-2 is the existence of rare earth Nd ions and *** surface area of Nf increases due to the presence of carbon nanotubes and enhanced surface area provides more active sites for the degradation reaction.

Throughout the use of the small battery-operated sensor nodes encou-rage us to develop an energy-efficient routing protocol for wireless sensor networks(WSNs).The development of an energy-efficient routing protocol is a mainly adopted technique to enhance the lifetime of *** routing protocols are available,but the issue is still *** is one of the most important techniques in the existing routing *** the clustering-based model,the important thing is the selection of the cluster *** this paper,we have proposed a scheme that uses the bubble sort algorithm for cluster head selection by considering the remaining energy and the distance of the nodes in each ***,the bubble sort algorithm chose the two nodes with the maximum remaining energy in the cluster and chose a cluster head with a small *** proposed scheme performs hierarchal routing and direct routing with some energy *** simulation will be performed in MATLAB to justify its performance and results and compared with the ECHERp model to justify its ***,the simulations will be performed in two scenarios,gate-way-based and without gateway to achieve more energy-efficient results.

Au nanoparticles loaded on hollow BiOCl microstructures boosting CO_(2)photoreduction

The BiOCl(BOC)synthesized by the water bath heating method was treated with sodium borohydride(NaBH_(4))to introduce oxygen vacancies(OVs).At the same time,Au nanoparticles were loaded to prepare a series of Au/BiOCl samples with different *** and Au nanoparticles can promote the light absorption of host photocatalyst in the visible *** calculated work function of BiOCl and Au can verify the existence of Ohmic contact between the interface of them,which is conducive to the separation of charge *** a series of photoelectric tests,it was verified experimentally that the separation of charge carriers is indeed *** high-energy hot electrons produced by Au under the surface plasmon resonance(SpR)effect can increase the counts of electrons to participate in the CO_(2)reduction *** for 1.0%-Au/BOC,the yields of CO can reach 43.16μmol g^(−1)h^(−1),which is 6.6 times more than that of ***,loading precious metal on semiconductors is an effective strategy to promote the photocatalytic performance of CO_(2)reduction reactions.

Bromine and oxygen redox species mediated highly selective electro-epoxidation of styrene

Olefin epoxidation is an essential transformation and arouses great interest among the scientific community for the key role of epoxide in the chemical *** methods suffer from harmful oxidants and require harsh operating conditions and complex separation ***-epoxidation through bromine redox reactions is an eco-friendly ***,the lack of efficient electrodes always limits the selectivity of epoxidation and results in massive energy ***,we found that Gf-CoS_(2)/CoS heterostructures anchored on graphite felt(Gf-CoS_(2)/CoS)can efficiently facilitate the generation of bromine redox species on the *** synergistic cooperation between the bromine redox species and oxygen redox species(generated on a graphite rod cathode)can establish a benign electro-epoxidation system for olefin substrates in an ambient *** the optimized reaction conditions,the epoxidation of styrene can achieve a yield of 97% at 30 mA cm^(-2).Importantly,the applied voltage(4-5 V)is roughly half of the pt-based electrode system(7.8-9.3 V),hence,saving half of the *** demonstrated that our proposed strategy could also be applied to other *** of the simple,sustainable,and economic advantages of the epoxidation process,we believe this strategy is highly desirable for technical applications.

Structural stability improvement, Williamson Hall analysis and band-gap tailoring through A-site Sr doping in rare earth based double perovskite La2NiMnO6

The structural,morphological and optical properties of single-phase polycrystalline La2-xSrxNiMnO6(x=0,0.3 and 0.5),synthesized by solid state reaction were *** samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)/energy dispersive analysis of X-rays(EDAX),Raman spectroscopy and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(DRS)to elucidate the role of A-site Sr-doping in double perovskite La2 *** analysis of XRD patterns revealed that all the samples have monoclinic structure with space group p21/*** gradient in the Williamson Hall plots revealed the presence of tensile strain in all the *** morphological studies revealed that average grain size increases along with appreciable decrease in porosity with Sr *** Ni/Mn antisite disorder was introduced in the La2 NiMnO6 by Sr-doping confirmed by an increase in the full width at half maximum(fWHM)and decrease in intensity of the Raman modes at around 540 and 665 cm-1 which correspond to the antisymmetric stretching and symmetric stretching modes,*** results reveal that the band gap in La2 NiMnO6 can be tuned down by Sr-doping to a value of1.37 eV(very close to 1.40 eV,considered as optimum value for better efficiency of a solar cell).Thus,Sr-doped La2 NiMnO6 may be of prime importance for applications in solar cells.

Depression is a mental psychological disorder that may cause a physical disorder or lead to *** is highly impactful on the socialeconomical life of a person;therefore,its effective and timely detection is *** speech and gait,facial expressions have valuable clues to *** study proposes a depression detection system based on facial expression *** features have been used for depression detection using Support Vector Machine(SVM)and Convolutional Neural Network(CNN).We extracted micro-expressions using facial Action Coding System(fACS)as Action Units(AUs)correlated with the sad,disgust,and contempt features for depression detection.A CNN-based model is also proposed in this study to auto classify depressed subjects from images or videos in *** have been performed on the dataset obtained from Bahawal Victoria Hospital,Bahawalpur,pakistan,as per the patient health questionnaire depression scale(pHQ-8);for inferring the mental condition of a *** experiments revealed 99.9%validation accuracy on the proposed CNN model,while extracted features obtained 100%accuracy on ***,the results proved the superiority of the reported approach over state-of-the-art methods.

In the network field,Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)contain prolonged attention due to afresh *** like health care,traffic,defense,and many more systems espoused the *** networks contain tiny sensor nodes containing embedded processors,TinyOS,memory,and power *** nodes are responsible for forwarding the data *** manage all these components,there is a need to select appropriate parameters which control the quality of service of *** sensor nodes are involved in transmitting vital information,and there is a need for secure and efficient routing to reach the quality of *** due to the high cost of the network,WSN components have limited resources to manage the *** is a need to design a lightweight solution that ensures the quality of service in *** this given manner,this study provides the quality of services in a wireless sensor network with a security *** incorporated hybrid lightweight security model is designed in which random waypoint mobility(RWM)model and grey wolf optimization(GWO)is used to enhance service quality and maintain security with efficient *** version 16 andNetwork Stimulator 2.35(NS2.35)are used in this research to evaluate the *** overall cost factor is reduced at 60%without the optimization technique and 90.90%reduced by using the optimization technique,which is assessed by calculating the signal-to-noise ratio,overall energy nodes,and communication overhead.

In every network,delay and energy are crucial for communication and network *** wireless sensor networks,many tiny nodes create networks with high energy consumption and compute routes for better *** Sensor Networks(WSN)is a very complex scenario to compute minimal delay with data aggregation and energy *** this research,we compute minimal delay and energy efficiency for improving the quality of service of any *** proposed work is based on energy and distance parameters as taken dependent variables with data *** aggregation performs on different models,namely Hybrid-Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy(H-LEACH),Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy(LEACH),and Multi-Aggregator-based Multi-Cast(MAMC).The main contribution of this research is to a reduction in delay and optimized energy solution,a novel hybrid model design in this research that ensures the quality of service in *** model includes a whale optimization technique that involves heterogeneous functions and performs optimization to reach optimized *** cluster head selection,Stable Election protocol(SEp)protocol is used and power-Efficient Gathering in Sensor Information Systems(pEGASIS)is used for driven-path in *** results evaluate that H-LEACH provides minimal delay and energy consumption by sensor *** the comparison of existing theories and our proposed method,HLEACH is providing energy and delay reduction and improvement in quality of *** 2019 is used for simulation work.

The mature design of wireless mobile sensor network makes it to be used in vast verities of applications including from home used to the security *** such types of applications based on wireless mobile sensor network are generally using real time data,most of them are interested in real time communication directly from cluster head of cluster instead of a base station in cluster *** would be possible if an external user allows to directly access real time data from the cluster head in cluster wireless mobile sensor network instead of accessing data from base *** this leads to a serious security breach and degrades the performance of any security protocol available in this *** existing schemes for authentication and cluster key management for external users,exchange a number of messages between cluster head and base station to allow external to access real time data from the base station instead of cluster *** increase communication cost and delay in such real time access *** handle this critical issue in cluster wireless mobile sensor network,we propose a lightweight authentication and key management scheme using a fuzzy *** this scheme,any external user can access data directly from the cluster head of any cluster without the involvement of the base *** proposed scheme only uses the one-way hash functions and bitwise XOR operations,apart from the fuzzy extractor method for the user biometric verification at the login *** presented scheme supports scalability for an increasing number of nodes using *** proposed scheme increases the life-time of the network by decreasing the key pool size.
