Understanding the ecological adaptation of tree species can not only reveal the evolutionary potential but also benefit biodiversity conservation under global climate *** is a keystone genus in Northern Hemisphere forests,and its wide distribution in diverse ecosystems and long evolutionary history make it an ideal model for studying the genomic basis of ecological *** we used a newly sequenced genome of Quercus gilva,an evergreen oak species from East Asia,with 18 published Fagales genomes to determine how Fagaceae genomes have evolved,identify genomic footprints of ecological adaptability in oaks in general,as well as between evergreen and deciduous *** found that oak species exhibited a higher degree of genomic conservation and stability,as indicated by the absence of large-scale chromosomal structural variations or additional whole-genome duplication *** addition,we identified expansion and tandem repetitions within gene families that contribute to plant physical and chemical defense(e.g.,cuticle biosynthesis and oxidosqualene cyclase genes),which may represent the foundation for the ecological adaptation of oak *** rhythm and hormone-related genes may regulate the habits of evergreen and deciduous *** study provides a comprehensive perspective on the ecological adaptations of tree species based on phylogenetic,genome evolutionary,and functional genomic analyses.

stem cell-based brain repair is a promising emergent therapy for parkinson's disease based on years of foundational research using human fetal donors as a cell *** current therapeutic options for patients,this approach has the potential to provide longterm stem cell–derived reconstruction and restoration of the dopaminergic input to denervated regions of the brain allowing for restoration of certain functions to *** ultimate clinical success of stem cell–derived brain repair will depend on both the safety and efficacy of the approach and the latter is dependent on the ability of the transplanted cells to survive and differentiate into functional dopaminergic neurons in the parkinsonian *** the pre-clinical literature suggests that there is considerable variability in survival and differentiation between studies,the aim of this systematic review was to assess these parameters in human stem cell-derived dopaminergic progenitor transplant studies in animal models of parkinson's disease.A defined systematic search of the pubMed database was completed to identify relevant studies published up to March *** screening,76 articles were included in the analysis from which 178 separate transplant studies were *** these,graft survival could be assessed in 52 studies and differentiation in 129 ***,we found that graft survival ranged froms transplanted,with a median of 51%of transplanted cells surviving in the brain;while dopaminergic differentiation of the cells ranged from 0% to 46% of cells transplanted with a median of 3%.This systematic review suggests that there is considerable scope for improvement in the differentiation of stem cell-derived dopaminergic progenitors to maximize the therapeutic potential of this approach for patients.

近年来,教材中的价值观呈现愈加受到教材编写者和使用者的关注。本文以德国英语教材On Track为研究对象,探究其价值观呈现的情况。研究发现:在该教材呈现的德国主流价值观中,最常见的价值观类别是社群关系价值观、个人成长价值观、传统文化价值观和发展观念价值观。价值观呈现方式特点有三,即螺旋复现的价值观主题、追求真实的语言中介板块、以思辨能力为导向的素材选择和练习设计。此外,该教材的价值观呈现模态多样。最后,本文针对我国外语教材编写和教材使用如何助力价值观教育提出建议。

small RNAs(sRNAs) are a class of molecules capable of perceiving environmental changes and exerting posttranscriptional regulation over target gene expression,thereby influencing bacterial virulence and host immune responses. pseudomonas plecoglossicida is a pathogenic bacterium that poses a significant threat to aquatic animal health. However, the regulatory mechanisms of sRNAs in p. plecoglossicida remain unclear. This study focused on sRNA113, previously identified as a potential regulator of the flip gene, a key component of the lateral flagellar type III secretion system. To investigate the effects of sRNA113on p. plecoglossicida virulence, as well as its role in regulating pathogenic processes and host immune responses, mutant strains lacking this sRNA were generated and analyzed. Deletion of sRNA113 resulted in the up-regulation of lateral flagellar type III secretion system-related genes in p. plecoglossicida, which enhanced bacterial swarming motility, biofilm formation,and chemotaxis ability in vitro. In vivo infection experiments with pearl gentian grouper revealed that sRNA113 deletion enhanced the pathogenicity of ***. This heightened virulence was attributed to the up-regulation of genes associated with the lateral flagellar type III secretion system, resulting in higher bacterial loads within host tissues. This amplification of pathogenic activity intensified tissue damage, disrupted immune responses, and impaired the ability of the host to clear infection, ultimately leading to mortality. These findings underscore the critical role of sRNA113 in regulating the virulence of p. plecoglossicida and its interaction with host immune defenses. This study provides a foundation for further exploration of sRNAmediated mechanisms in bacterial pathogenesis and hostpathogen interactions, contributing to a deeper understanding of virulence regulation and immune evasion in aquatic pathogens.

Zinc homeostasis plays an essential role in maintaining immune function and is tightly regulated by zinc transporters. We previously reported that the zinc transporter sLC39A10, located in the cell membrane, critically regulates the susceptibility of macrophages to inflammatory stimuli; however, the functional role of sLC39A10 in T cells is currently unknown. Here, we identified two sNps in sLC39A10that are associated with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD). We then generated transgenic mice with T cell-specific deletion of slc39a10(cKO) and found that its loss not only protects against disease progression in IBD and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE),but also induces massive apoptosis via a p53/p21-and Bcl2-independent process. Mechanistically, we show that slc39a10 serves as a key zinc importer upon activation of T cell receptor to safeguard DNA replication. Together, these findings provide new mechanistic insights and potential targets for the development of new therapeutic strategies for the treatment and/or prevention of T cell-mediated autoimmune diseases.

AIM:To analyze whether alterations of voxel mirror homology connectivity(VMHC)values,as determined by resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rsfMRI),occur in cerebral regions of patients with hypertensive retinopathy(HR)and to determine the relationship between VMHC values and clinical characteristics in patients with ***:Twenty-one patients with HR and 21 agematched healthy controls(HCs)were assessed by rsfMRI *** functional connectivity between the hemispheres of the cerebrum was assessed by measuring VMHC,with the ability of VMHC to distinguish between the HR and HC groups assessed using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve *** in the demographic and clinical characteristics of the HR and HC groups were analyzed by independent sample *** relationship between average VMHC in several brain areas of HR patients and clinical features was determined using pearson correlation ***:Mean VMHC values of the bilateral cuneus gyrus(BA19),bilateral middle orbitofrontal gyrus(BA47),bilateral middle temporal gyrus(BA39)and bilateral superior medial frontal gyrus(BA9)were lower in the HR than in the HC ***:VMHC values can predict the development of early HR,prevent the transformation of hypertensive microangiopathy,and provide useful information explaining the changes in neural mechanism associated with HR.

当前在国际中文教育发展中,亟待建立产品观、成本观与市场观。伴随着数字交互技术发展,教育传播方式在快速变化,特别是人工智能技术在国际中文教育领域的应用呈加速趋势。在此背景下,有必要选择具有代表性的数字交互式中文教学产品,从对终端需求的调查分析入手,探寻有效供给的可行之策。研究基于对应用于移动端的53种中文学习数字交互软件的产品定位、教学内容、功能类型、运营模式、用户评价的调查,对用户的消费需求及消费行为特征做出分析,并就如何实现有效供给进行了探讨。建议根据对目标国家的研究,定制式打造数字交互式中文学习产品;根据用户需求进行动态更新,把握受众心理创新数字交互教学方式;深化多方合作实现联动共赢,优化配套服务提升学习体验;“强强联手”拓宽产品传播渠道,“借船出海”增强市场覆盖率。
