In this paper, how to compute the eigenfrequencies of the structures composed of a series of inclined cables is shown. The physics of an inclined cable can be complicated, so solving the differential equations even approximately is difficult. However, rather than solving the system of 4 first-order equations governing the dynamics of each cable, the governing equations are instead converted to a set of equations that the exterior matrix satisfies. Therefore, the exterior matrix method （EMM） is used without solving the original governing equations. Even though this produces a system of 6 first-order equations, the simple asymptotic techniques to find the first three terms of the perturbative solution can be used. The solutions can then be assembled to produce a 6 x 6 exterior matrix for a cable section. The matrices for each cable in the structure are multiplied together, along with the exterior matrices for each joint. The roots of the product give us the eigenfrequencies of the system.

Complex sustainability issues in the Anthropocene,with rapid globalization and global environmental changes,are increasingly interlinked between not only nearby systems but also distant ***’s first law of geog-raphy(TFL)states“near things are more related than distant things”.Evidence suggests that TFL is not infallible for sustainability ***,the integrated framework of metacoupling(MCF;human-nature interactions within as well as between adjacent and distant systems)has been applied to analyze the interactions between nearby and distant coupled human and natural systems ***,previous work has been scat-tered and *** is crucial to understand the extent to which TFL and MCF apply across pressing issues in ***,we reviewed and synthesized sustainability literature that used TFL and MCF across seven major topics:land change,species migration,tourism,trade,agricultural development,conservation,and *** indicate MCF had a much broader applicability than TFL for these *** literature using MCF generally did not or likely did not obey TFL,especially in trade,governance,and agricultural *** the TFL literature,most topics obeyed TFL,except for species migration and *** findings suggest the need to rethink and further test TFL’s relevance to sustainability issues,and highlight the potential of MCF to address complex interactions between both adjacent and distant systems across the world for global sustainability.

1 Introduction Deep neural networks have exhibited excellent performance in supervised tasks on point clouds,such as classification,segmentation[1]and registration[2].In supervised learning schemes,manual labeling of massive point clouds is needed for model ***,point clouds captured from different scenarios exist inevitable distribution discrepancy,and model trained from one domain always generalize badly in another *** reduce the doamin distribution discrepancy,many studies[3–6]have emerged for point cloud unsupervised domain adaptation(UDA)by learning domain-invariant features,where[5]proposed using adaptive nodes to align the local features between the source and the target domains[3,4],and[6]proposed utilizing self-supervised tasks to help capture highly transferable feature representations.

The accumulation of pollutants in the recirculation zone can worsen *** is critical to reduce recirculation zones to improve the ventilation efficiency of ***,the variation rule of the recirculation zone in a cylindrical confined space(CCS)is unclear,and there are few solutions to suppress or eliminate the recirculation zone at *** this paper,an annular deflector orifice plate for suppressing the recirculation zone was developed based on the structural characteristics of the *** device is simple in structure and can be used *** experiments and numerical simulations,the variation rule of the recirculation zone length and the influence of structural parameters of the device on the vortex suppression were ***,empirical formulas for calculating the length of the recirculation zone in the CCS were *** addition,it was proved that placing the annular orifice plate inside the CCS effectively reduced the recirculation zone and improved the ventilation *** to the system without the annular orifice plate,the dimensionless length of the recirculation zone was decreased by 76.3%,and the time to completely discharge the pollutants from the CCS was decreased by 16.7%.Finally,parameters of the annular orifice plate that form the best vortex suppression effect were proposed:the porosity range was 40%–50%,uniform in shape with equal ring spacing,and placed more than one inlet diameter away from the *** results help guide the ventilation design of CCS.

A series-parallel hydraulic hybrid system applied to public buses is put torwaro, ano parameters of key components are analyzed and determined. Energy management strategy based on logic thresh- old is designed which is aimed at efficient operation of the overall system considering the operational characteristic of the components and taking the curves of engine, hydraulic pump/motor and hydrau- lic pump as the main design basis; regenerative control strategy which makes regenerative brake sys- tem and frictional brake system work harmoniously is designed to raise recovery rate of regenerative brake energy. System dynamic modeling and simulation results show that the energy control strategy designed here is able to adapt system to changes of working condition and switch the operating mode reasonably. The regenerative braking control strategy is effective in raising the utilization of energy and improving fuel economy.

Sugars,especially glucose and fructose,contribute to the taste and quality of tomato *** compounds are translocated from the leaves to the fruits and then unloaded into the fruits by various sugar transporters at the plasma ***,are sugar transporters that regulate sugar efflux independently of energy or *** date,the role of SWEETs in tomato has received very little *** this study,we performed functional analysis of SlSWEET7a and SlSWEET14 to gain insight into the regulation of sugar transport and storage in tomato ***7a and SlSWEET14 were mainly expressed in peduncles,vascular bundles,and *** SlSWEET7a and SlSWEET14 are plasma membrane-localized proteins that transport fructose,glucose,and *** from the resulting increase in mature fruit sugar content,silencing SlSWEET7a or SlSWEET14 resulted in taller plants and larger fruits(in SlSWEET7a-silenced lines).We also found that invertase activity and gene expression of some SlSWEET members increased,which was consistent with the increased availability of sucrose and hexose in the ***,our results demonstrate that suppressing SlSWEET7a and SlSWEET14 could be a potential strategy for enhancing the sugar content of tomato fruits.
