Virgin Coconut Meal (VCM) was used for the development of instant wheat sooji (semolina) halwa mix with better nutritional attributes. Central composite rotatable design (CCRD) with 2 independent variables (sugar and VCM) and 4 responses (lightness, redness, taste and overall acceptability) was used for the optimisation. VCM incorporated instant halwa mix prepared using optimised levels of ingredients contained moisture 0.95%;fat 26.2%;protein 7.65%;total ash 0.86%;fibre 1.02% and received overall acceptability score of 8.5 on a 9 point hedonic scale providing 523.86 K·cal/ 100g. The changes in quality of stored VCM incorporated instant halwa mix packed in polypropylene (pp, 75 μ) and laminates of metallised polyester (Mp, 90 μ) were monitored in order to assess the shelf-life. Instant halwa mix remained stable and acceptable for one year in both the packaging materials under ambient temperature conditions (15℃ - 34℃). However, the rate of lipid peroxidation was found to be slightly higher in pp packed samples as compared to Mp packed ones. Fatty acid composition of VCM incorporated instant halwa mix remained practically unchanged during storage. Oleic acid was the major fatty acid present in fat extracted from halwa mix followed by palmitic and lauric acids.

In this paper,the detailed analysis of the influence of thermal and non-Newtonian aspects of lubricant(couple stress fluid)on EHL line contact as a function of slide-roll ratio is *** novel low complexity FAS(full approximation scheme),of the multigrid scheme,with Jacobi dipole and Gauss Seidel relaxation is used for the solution of coupled equations *** Reynolds equation,film thickness equation and energy equation satisfying appropriate boundary *** analysis reveals the combined influence of non-Newtonian,thermal and slide-roll ratio(of bearing moving with different speeds)on pressure,film thickness and pressure spike covering a wide range of physical parameters of *** show that pressure spike is strongly influenced by thermal,slide-roll ratio and non-Newtonian character of lubricant with negligible effect on the overall pressure ***,the minimum film thickness is slightly altered and it increases with the increase in the couple stress *** findings confirm the importance of non-Newtonian and thermal effects in the study of EHL.

The excitation function of the 58Ni(n,p)58Co reaction was measured using the well-established neutron activation technique andγ-ray *** in the energy range of 1.7 to 2.7 MeV were generated using the 7Li(p,n)*** neutron flux was measured using the standard 115In(n,n’)115mIn monitor *** results of the neutron spectrum averaged cross-section of 58Ni(n,p)58Co reactions were compared with existing cross-section data available in the EXFOR data library as well as with various evaluated data libraries such as ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,JENDL-4.0,and *** calculations were performed using the nuclear reaction code *** nuclear level density(NLD)models were tested,and their results were compared with the present *** NLDs were also obtained through the spectral distribution method(SDM).The cross-section results,along with the absolute errors,were obtained by investigating the uncertainty propagation and using the covariance *** forγ-ray true coincidence summing,low-energy background neutrons,andγ-ray self attenuation were *** experimental cross-section obtained in the present study is consistent with previously published experimental data,evaluated libraries,and theoretical calculations carried out using the TALYS code.

Human-elephant conflict(HEC)in India is becoming a growing health problem causing many fatalities every *** produce injuries by trampling,stomping,squeezing,tossing in the air,or crushing/targeting the head and chest *** adult elephants are most aggressive in their mating season,leading to maximum incidences of HECs in this *** attacks are mostly unprovoked,though most HECs are *** this case series,the authors described the injuries sustained by three survivors in a short span of one month due to the sudden and unprovoked elephant *** the injuries were mild to moderate in severity and involved the chest in *** rescue and prompt initiation of treatment were pivotal in their *** authors also want to create awareness about the mating season of elephants to minimize these unfortunate events in the future.

pyogenic granuloma is a rapidly growing hyperplastic, vascular proliferation of the skin or mucous membrane. A benign lesion of unknown aetiology commonly associated with pregnancy, oral contraceptives and trauma. While lesions occur frequently in oral cavity, occurrence in the nasal septum is rarely reported. We report a case of 38-year-old male (known case of active pulmonary tuberculosis on anti-tubercular therapy) who presented with unilateral pyogenic granuloma of the anterior nasal septum with unilateral nasal obstruction. We emphasize that the rarely seen lobular capillary hemangioma (pyogenic granuloma) must be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of a rapidly growing mass of the nasal cavity, even without history of epistaxis. Here we report an uncommon case and review current literature regarding aetiology, site and role of rifampicin in pyogenic granuloma.

Co0.7Me0.3Fe2O4 (Me = Zn, Ni and Mn) were synthesized through co-precipitation method. Cationic distribution for these ferrites was proposed on the basis of magnetization measurements and available occupancy of the substituent ions into the spinel lattice. Theoretical lattice constant calculations confirm the proposed cationic distributions were the correct ones.

Atrial septal defect (ASD)is a common acyanotic congenital cardiac disorder associated with genetic *** objective of this study was to identify the genetic factors in a Chinese family with ASD patients by a whole exome sequencing *** ASD gene mutations were examined in 16 members from a three-generation family,among which 6 individuals were diagnosed as having *** hundred and eighty-three unrelated healthy Chinese were recruited as a normal control *** venous blood was collected from every subject for genetic *** sequencing was performed in the ASD *** causal mutations were detected in non-ASD family members and normal controls by polymerase chain reaction and sequencing *** results showed that all affected family members carried two novel compound mutations,c.1187delT of pCDHGA4 and c.2557insC of SLFN14,and these two mutations were considered to have synergetic function on *** conclusion,the mutations of c.1187delT of pCDHGA4 and c.2557insC of SLFN14 may be pathogenic factors contributing to the development of ASD.
