Honeybees are the most critical pollinators providing key ecosystem services that underpin crop production and sustainable *** a backdrop of rapid global change,this eusocial insect encounters a succession of stressors during nesting,foraging,and *** mites,together with vectored viruses,have been recognized as central biotic threats to honeybee health,while the spread of invasive giant hornets and small hive beetles also increasingly threatens colonies *** of agrochemicals,including acaricides used for mite treatment,and other pollutants of the environment have been widely documented to affect bee health in various ***,expanding urbanization,climate change,and agricultural intensification often result in the destruction or fragmentation of flower-rich bee *** anthropogenic pressures exerted by beekeeping management practices affect the natural selection and evolution of honeybees,and colony translocations facilitate alien species invasion and disease *** this review,the multiple biotic and abiotic threats and their interactions that potentially undermine bee colony health are discussed,while taking into consideration the sensitivity,large foraging area,dense network among related nestmates,and social behaviors of honeybees.

Solid materials with dynamically tunable circularly polarized luminescence(CpL) feature higher security levels and devicefriendly characteristics, showing great superiority in the field of information technology and anti-counterfeiting. To address the limited photoisomerization of fluorescent photoswitch in CpL-active solid materials, here a cholesteric liquid crystal elastomer(CLCE) containing a hydrogen-bonded(H-bonded) polymerizable fluorescent switch AHBA-pSD is prepared. Owing to the good flexibility and low glass-transition temperature of CLCE, AHBA-pSD shows a fast and fully reversible photocyclization/cycloreversion with fluorochromic behavior in CLCE. Further, by controlling the spectral overlap.ing area between the emission and reflection bands, the CLCE exhibits a strong CpL with a g_(lum) value of up to 0.76 accompanied by a reversible phototunable CpL signal. Meanwhile, the H-bond helps to stabilize the mechanical property, and the force-induced switching-off of CpL signal could be achieved due to the destroyed helical structures by external force. Finally, an automatically-recognized identification card with abundant chirop.ical information is demonstrated.

The increasing penetration of renewable energy resources with highly fluctuating outputs has placed increasing concern on the accuracy and timeliness of electric power system state estimation(SE).Meanwhile,we note that only a fraction of system states fluctuate at the millisecond level and require to be *** such,refreshing only those states with significant variation would enhance the computational efficiency of SE and make fast-continuous update of states ***,this is difficult to achieve with conventional SE methods,which generally refresh states of the entire system every 4–5 *** this context,we propose a local hybrid linear SE framework using stream processing,in which synchronized measurements received from phasor measurement units(pMUs),and trigger/timingmode measurements received from remote terminal units(RTUs)are used to update the associated local ***,the measurement update process efficiency and timeliness are enhanced by proposing a trigger measurement-based fast dynamic partitioning algorithm for determining the areas of the system with states requiring *** particular,non-iterative hybrid linear formulations with both RTUs and pMUs are employed to solve the local SE *** timeliness,accuracy,and computational efficiency of the proposed method are demonstrated by extensive simulations based on iEEE 118-,300-,and 2383-bus systems.

Considering the intrinsic advantages of natural copiousness and cost-effectiveness of potassium resource,potassium-ion batteries(KiBs) are booming as prospective alternatives to lithium-ion batteries(LiBs) in large-scale energy storage scenarios. Nevertheless, lacking desirable electrodes for reversibly hosting the bulky K+hinders the widespread app.ication of KiBs, and it needs to be urgently solved. Hereon, the porous S-doped Sb_(2)O_(3)-graphene-carbon(SAGC) nanofibers are manufactured through an adjustable and facile approach, which involves electrospinning, in situ etching and sulfuration. The synthesized SAGC is featured by the ultra-small amorphous Sb_(2)O_(3) homogeneously wrapped inside the carbon matrix, as well as the co-incorporation of graphene and sulfur. Tentatively,the SAGC nanofiber sheets are app.ied as binder-free anodes for KiBs, exhibiting a prominent cycling life(256.72 m Ah·g^(-1) over 150 cycles at 100 m A·g^(-1)) and rate·g^(-1) over 100 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1)). The positive synergy among all the active components accounts for the distinguished performances of the SAGC. By reinforcing the tolerability to the swelling stress, producing the valid electrochemical active sites, and promoting the charge transferring for reversible K+uptake, the SAGC finally renders the excellent cyclability, capacity, and rate capability. Moreover, the extrinsic electrochemical pseudocapacitance characteristics induced by the porous carbon substrate elevate the K-storage capacity of the SAGC as well. it is hoped that the conclusions drawn may offer new insights into a direction for the high-performance binderfree KiB anodes.

To understand the mechanism of the interfacial reaction between high-Mn and high-Al steel and MgO refractory,a series of laboratory experiments as well as thermodynamic calculations were *** effects of Mn and Al contents in the steel and the reaction time on the interfacial reaction were *** was observed that the erosion of the MgO refractory is caused by the reaction of Al and Mn in the steel with MgO in the refractory,which would lead to the formation of(Mn,Mg)O·Al_(2)O_(3) spinel and(Mn,Mg)O solid *** formation mechanism of the spinel and solid solution is as *** Al in the steel firstly reacts with MgO in the refractory to generate MgO·Al_(2)O_(3) spinel,and then,the spinel reacts with Mn in the steel to form(Mn,Mg)O·Al_(2)O_(3) ***,the MnO in the spinel reacts with the MgO in the inner refractory to form(Mn,Mg)O solid *** addition,only(Mn,Mg)O·Al_(2)O_(3) spinel is present in the interfacial reaction layer of the refractory when the Al content in the steel is sufficient.

Background:Despite improvements in objective response rates to cisplatin-based combination chemotherapy,the majority of advanced ovarian cancer remains subop.imal,resulting in poor *** has been found that non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs)not only participate in the transmission of signals between various cells but also participate in tumor immunity and anti-tumor immune responses,thereby regulating tumor occurrence and ***,the function and detailed mechanism of ultraconserved RNA(ucRNA)in ovarian cancer chemoresistance is still ***:Western blotting assay,Quantitative real-time pCR analysis(qpCR),and Kaplan-Meier plotter analysis were performed to analyze the expression and prognosis of uc.243 in ovarian *** assay and Annexin V assay were performed to analyze the function of uc.243 in cisplatin resistance in ovarian cancer *** pull-down and qpCR experiments were performed to explore the molecular mechanism of uc.243 enhancing cisplatin resistance in ovarian cancer ***:Herein,we found that uc.243 was remarkably upregulated and correlated with patient survival in chemoresistance ovarian cancer patients compared with chemo-sensitive ovarian *** experiment displayed that uc.243 induced cisplatin resistance on ovarian cancer cells by facilitating the efflux of cisplatin(CDDp);but inhibiting the expression of uc.243 significantly reverses this ***,uc.243 can inhibit the binding of RNA binding protein DGCR8 microprocessor complex subunit to p.i-miR-155,thereby inhibiting the cleavage of p.i-miR-155 and decrease in mature miR-155,subsequently upregulates the expression of ATp binding cassette subfamily B member(ABCB1,ABCC2).Conclusion:Our research findings indicate that uc.243 can induce chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer,suggesting that it may become a new prognostic biomarker for malignant ovarian cancer.

The development of novel piezoelectric catalysts against harsh conditions is indeed crucial for improving the piezo-catalytic degradation efficiency of colored organic dyes in *** this work,6H-SiC nanoparticles(Nps)are utilized to piezo-catalytic degrade rhodamine B(RhB)and methylene blue(MB)under ultrasonic vibration for the first *** degradation efficiency of RhB and MB reaches 98.8%and 98.7%within 80 *** piezoelectricity of 6H-SiC is comprehensively analyzed by the piezoresponse force microscope(pFM)and finite element method(FEM).The strong oxidizing active free radicals generated by the continuous piezoelectric polarized electric field of 6H-SiC,i.e.,·O_(2)^(-)and·OH,induce the decomposition reactions of colored organic dyes in *** the dyes are proven to degrade to harmless or less-harmful products gradually during the piezo-catalysis process by high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(HpLC-MS).Moreover,RhB is also decomposed efficiently by 6HSiC Nps under acidic and alkaline *** results prove the feasibility of 6H-SiC for decomposing common water pollutants under harsh conditions and provide a new perspective for water purification.

Effect of Small Needle Knife on Autophagy and TGF-β in Synovial Fluid of KOA Rats

Objective:To explore the effects of small needle knife on the autophagy function of synovium and the expression of TGF-βin synovial fluid of KOA rats,so as to provide a new theoretical basis for the treatment of ***:48 SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group,model group,drug group and acupotomy *** blank control group maintained the original feeding without any intervention,the model group adopted the sodium monoiodoacetate injection method to prepare the KOA rat model without any intervention,the drug group prepared the KOA rat model and then treated with tripterine by gavage,and the needle knife group treated the KOA rat model with small needle *** expression levels of autophagy-related proteins in synovial tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blotting,and the content of TGF-βin synovial fluid was measured by ***:Compared with the blank control group,Beclin-1,Caspase-3 and Bax were up-regulated and m TOR was down-regulated in the model ***-1,m TOR,Caspase-3 and Bax were up-regulated in the drug *** was no significant difference in the expression of autophagy-related proteins Beclin-1(0.28±0.09)and m TOR(0.45±0.12)between the acupotomy group and the blank control group,while Caspase-3(0.17±0.03)and Bax(0.30±0.01)were *** expression level of TGF-βin synovial fluid in the small needle knife group was(0.29±0.09),which was similar to that in the blank control group,and was significantly higher than that in the model ***:Small needle knife treatment can promote the recovery of synovial autophagy in KOA rats,and reduce the level of TGF-βin synovial fluid,and can play a clinical role in the treatment of KOA by regulating the expression of synovial autophagy and TGF-β.

The separation of photogenerated electron–hole p.irs is vitally important for photocatalysis,which can be effectively promoted by polarization ***,it only manifests in piezoelectric/pyroelectric/ferroelectric materials that have a non-centrosymmetric ***,we demonstrate that the polarization enhanced photocatalysis(with wide spectra from ultraviolet(UV)light to visible light)can be achieved in centrosymmetric semiconductors,such asδ-MnO_(2) and TiO_(2) nanosheets integrated nanoflowers,by using the strain-gradient-induced flexoelectric polarization that is always overlooked in polarization-enhanced *** ultrasonic and illumination excitation,the organic pollutants(methylene blue(MB),etc.)can be effectively degraded within 30 min with excellent stability and *** with photocatalysis,the flexo-photocatalytic performance of above centrosymmetric semiconductors is substantially increased by 85%.Moreover,the factors related to flexo-photocatalysis such as material morphology,mechanical stimuli source,and adsorp.ion are explored to deeply understand the mechanism of *** work opens up a way for high-performance photocatalysis in centrosymmetric semiconductors.
