a.a.ca.ia.a.gustifolia.Bertol.) O. Kuntze exhibits dimorphism in its stem structure, where the trunk is orthotropic a.d bra.ches a.d bra.chlets(prima.y a.d seconda.y bra.ches) a.e pla.iotropic. These stems exhibit different beha.ior when used for vegeta.ive propa.a.ion,a.d only segments of trunk ca. form a.complete pla.t. The physiologica. a.d biochemica. mecha.isms tha. cha.a.terize these stems a.e still little known. The a.m of this study wa. to describe the free a.ino a.id profiles in trunks,bra.ches, a.d bra.chlets of a. a.gustifolia. Segments of 5 cm in length were excised from young individua.s below the stem a.ex. The needles were removed a.d sa.ples were frozen a.d lyophilized. The determina.ions were ma.e by high-performa.ce liquid chroma.ogra.hy, a.d the results were expressed a. lg/g fresh weight(FW). The trunks a.d bra.ches ha. the highest content of tota. a.ino a.ids, which were 112.23 ± 20.57 lg/g FW a.d 111.97 ± 27.78 lg/g FW, respectively. The a.ino a.ids—gluta.ine, a.pa.ta.e a.d c-a.inobutyric a.id a.d tyrosine—were noticea.ly higher in the three types of *** the trunk, a.higher a.ount of a.pa.a.ine a.d tryptopha.,wa. a.so detected. Gluta.ic a.id a.d gluta.ine were found in higher qua.tities in the bra.ches. The bra.chlets ha. very low tota. a.ino a.id content (30.79 ± 4.19 lg/g FW), wherein a.pa.a.ine is the only a.ino a.id not detected. Thus, it wa. observed tha. the profile of the free a.ino a.id differs a.ong trunks, bra.ches, a.d bra.chlets in a. a.gustifolia. indica.ing tha. they perform different functions.

This resea.ch investiga.es the soil conditioning effect of suga. ca.e fields with biocha. produced from suga.ca.e *** influence on the physicochemica. a.d microbiologica. conditions of the soil a.d the a.ronomic performa.ce of suga.ca.e seedlings wa. *** this end,the biocha. from suga.ca.e ba.a.se wa. produced by pyrolysis in a.double drum oven a.d mixed with soil a. ra.es of 0,1%,3%,a.d 5%(in weight).The experiment wa. insta.led in a.greenhouse with two eva.ua.ion periods(30 da.s a.d 60 da.s)a.d five *** pot received a.pre-sprouted ca.e seedling,a.d the a.a.ysis of colony-forming units(ba.teria.a.d fungi),physicochemica. cha.a.teristics of the soil,a.d growth a.d development of suga.ca.e were performed per *** biocha. showed a.high fixed ca.bon content(72%)a.d a.specific surfa.e a.ea.estima.ed by the a.sorption of methylene blue of 50 m2 g−***,its structure is porous a.d conta.ns importa.t nutrients(e.g.,Ca.,K2O,a.d p2O5).In the periods eva.ua.ed,the a.plica.ions of the 3%a.d 5%(in weight)ra.es of biocha. reduced most of the soil fertility ***,the chemica. a.a.yses indica.ed tha. the suga.ca.e field soil collected a.rea.y possessed high *** microbiota.wa. influenced,but only the a.plica.ion of the 3%(in weight)ra.e a. 60 da.s a.ter pla.ting showed a.significa.t positive effect on the number of ba.teria.forming units,with a. increa.e of a.proxima.ely 385%.On the other ha.d,no significa.t positive effect on suga.ca.e development wa. ***,biocha. a.plica.ion in high-fertility suga.ca.e pla.ta.ion soil did not result in ga.ns for suga.ca.e development in the periods eva.ua.ed.
