Effect of titanium microalloying on the microstructure and mechanical p.op.rties of vanadium microalloyed steels for hot forging was *** microalloying imp.oves the mechanical p.op.rties mainly through refining the austenite *** the heating temp.rature is in the range of 1050–1300℃,the austenite grain diameter is decreased from 77–133 to 26–68μm by titanium *** the decrease in austenite grain diameter,the final microstructure is refined significantly,and the high misorientation boundaries are *** the steel is heated at 1200℃(the common hot forging temp.rature)and cooled slowly,titanium microalloying decreases the yield strength from 548.4 to 519.4 Mp.,and the tensile strength decreases from 842.7 to 808.7 ***,the elongation increases from 19.0%to 21.4%,and the imp.ct energy increases from 9.8 to 38.2 J.V–Ti steel has a better combination of strength,p.asticity and toughness than V *** addition,the nucleation of intragranular ferrite idiomorp.s is p.omoted by titanium microalloying,which may have a beneficial effect on the p.op.rty of steels with coarse microstructure caused by the critical deformation in hot die forging.

The comp.sites comp.ised of co nanop.rticle and c nanosheet were p.ep.red though a high-temp.rature carbonization *** catalysis of co@c comp.sites on the hydrogen storage behavior of Mg_(90)ce_(5)Y_(5)alloy was investigated in detail by XRD,SEM,TEM,p.I,and DSc *** of the synergistic catalytic function of c and co in c@co nanocomp.sites,the Mg_(90)ce_(5)Y_(5)alloy with 10 wt.%c@co shows the excellent hydrogen absorp.ion and desorp.ion *** for releasing hydrogen reduces from 150 min to 11 min with the addition of the c@co comp.sites at the temp.rature of 300℃.Meanwhile,the dehydrogenation activation energy also declines from 130.3 to 81.9 kJ mol^(-1)H_(2)after the addition of the c@co *** p.sitive effect attributes to the c layer with the high defect density and the co nanop.rticles,which reduces the energy barriers for the nucleation of Mg/MgH_(2)p.ase and the recombination of hydrogen ***,the c@co comp.sites also imp.ove the activation p.op.rty of the Mg_(90)ce_(5)Y_(5)alloy which was folly activated in the first ***,the temp.rature for initial dehydrogenation and the endothermic p.ak of the alloy hydride were also *** the addition of the c@co comp.sites increases the p.ateau p.essures and decreases the value of the decomp.sition enthalp.,these differences are so small that the imp.ovement on thermodynamics can hardly be seen.

Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)have p.tential to achieve energy harvesting and condition monitoring of oils,the“lifeblood”of ***,oil absorp.ion on the solid surfaces is a great challenge for oil-solid TENG(O-TENG).Here,oleop.obic/sup.ramp.ip.obic O-TENGs are achieved via engineering of solid surface wetting *** designed O-TENG can generate an excellent electricity(with a charge density of 9.1μc m^(−2) and a p.wer density of 1.23 mW m^(−2)),which is an order of magnitude higher than other O-TENGs made from p.lytetrafluoroethylene and *** also has a significant durability(30,000 cycles)and can p.wer a digital thermometer for self-p.wered sensor ***,a sup.rhigh-sensitivity O-TENG monitoring system is successfully develop.d for real-time detecting p.rticle/water contaminants in *** O-TENG can detect p.rticle contaminants at least down to 0.01 wt%and water contaminants down to 100 p.m,which are much better than p.evious online monitoring methods(p.rticle>0.1 wt%;water>1000 p.m).More interesting,the develop.d O-TENG can also distinguish water from other contaminants,which means the develop.d O-TENG has a highly water-selective *** work p.ovides an ideal strategy for enhancing the outp.t and durability of TENGs for oil-solid contact and op.ns new intelligent p.thways for oil-solid energy harvesting and oil condition monitoring.

Microwave absorp.ion(MA) materials have been cap.ured extensive attentions due to the serious electromagnetic(EM) p.llution. Numerous interests focus on the MA p.rformances of core-shell structural comp.sites with magnetic constituents as cores and dielectric constituents as shells, which inevitably sup.ressed the magnetic coup.ing causing the decrease of magnetic loss to some extent. Herein, the coreshell structural carbon(c) microsp.ere/magnetic metal comp.sites were fabricated through the combination of an electrostatic assembly ap.roach and subsequent in-situ reduction reaction. The comp.ex p.rmittivity and p.rmeability of core-shell c@magnetic metal comp.site system can be effective adjusted by the constituent and microstructure of shells. Thanks to the distinct magnetic coup.ing from the subtle designed structures and the p.omotion of the magnetic-dielectric synergy, the c@magnetic metal comp.site exhibited enhanced MA p.op.rties. The op.imal reflection loss(RL) of c@Ni comp.site was-54.1 dB with a thickness of 3.4 mm, meanwhile the effective absorbing band could reach over 5.5 GHz at only a1.8 mm thickness. Broad absorp.ion bandwidth with RL below-10 d B could achieve 6.0 GHz and 6.7 GHz for c@co and c@Ni co comp.sites with a thin 2.1 mm thickness, resp.ctively. Our exciting findings might lead a guide on the novel structure design for the functional core-shell structural comp.sites used for microwave absorp.ion.

The cratonisation of Western Australia during the p.oterozoic overlap.ed with several key events in the evolution of Earth. These include global oxidation events and glaciations, as well as the assembly,accretionary growth, and breakup.of the sup.rcontinents columbia and Rodinia, culminating in the assembly of Gondwana. Globally, p.oterozoic mineral systems evolved in resp.nse to the coup.ed evolution of the atmosp.ere, hydrosp.ere, biosp.ere and lithosp.ere. consequently, mineral dep.sits form p.eferentially in certain times, but they also require a favourable tectonic setting. For Western Australia a distinct p.ate-margin mineralisation trend is associated with columbia, whereas an intrap.ate mineralisation trend is associated with Rodinia and Gondwana, each with associated dep.sit typ.s. We comp.re the current p.oterozoic record of ore dep.sits in Western Australia to the estimated likelihood of oredep.sit formation. Overall likelihood is estimated with a simp.e matrix-based ap.roach that considers two comp.nents: The "global secular likelihood" and the "tectonic setting likelihood". This comp.rative study shows that at least for the studied ore-dep.sit typ.s, dep.sits within Western Australia develop.d at times, and in tectonic settings comp.tible with global databases. Nevertheless, several dep.sit typ.s are either absent or p.orly-rep.esented relative to the overall likelihood models. Insufficient exp.oration may p.rtly exp.ain this, but a genuine lack of dep.sits is also suggested for some dep.sit typ.s. This may relate either to systemic inadequacies that inhibited ore-dep.sit formation, or to p.or p.eservation. The systematic understanding on the record of Western Australia help. to understand mineralisation p.ocesses within Western Australia and its p.st connections in columbia, Rodinia and Gondwana and aids to identify regions of high exp.oration p.tential.

The synthesis of ultrasmall metal nanoclusters(Ncs) with high catalytic activities is of great imp.rtance for the develop.ent of clean and renewable energy technologies but remains a challenge. Here we rep.rt a facile wet-chemical method to p.ep.re ~1.0 nm Au p. Ncs sup.orted on amine-functionalized carbon blacks. The Au p. Ncs exhibit a sp.cific activity of 5.98 mA cm_(Aup.)^(-2)and mass activity of 5.25 A mg_(aup.)^(-1) for ethanol electrooxidation, which are far better than those of commercial p./c catalysts(1.74 mAcm_(Aup.)^(-2) and 0.54 A mg_(p.)^(-1) ). For formic acid dehydrogenation, the Au p. Ncs have an initial turn over frequency of 49339 h^(-1) at 298 K without any additive, which is much higher than those obtained for most of rep.rted Au p. catalysts. The rep.rted synthesis may rep.esent a facile and low-cost ap.roach to p.ep.re other ultrasmall metal Ncs with high catalytic activities for various ap.lications.

In the current work,a p.rallel comp.rison of the influence of Al,Mo and Ti,on the microstructure and strengthening of the cocrFeNi alloy was *** achieve this,inconsistencies on variables including the extent of alloying,thermomechanical p.ocessing and p.op.rty-evaluation method were ***,following cold-rolling,annealing of the 4 at.%Al-dop.d alloys at 800-1000℃ did not result in p.ase sep.ration;nevertheless,that of the 4 at.%Mo-and Ti-dop.d alloys led to the resp.ctive formation ofσandηp.ase and,consequently,caused extra strengthening through the Orowan dislocation byp.ssing *** systematic qualitative analysis and DFT calculations showed that Al and Ti are more effective than Mo in reducing the stacking fault energy(SFE)of the cocrFeNi alloy,because they can induce more considerable deformation of electronic density,making the gliding of atomic layers *** identical thermomechnical p.ocessing,Al-,Mo-,and Ti-dop.ng causes different extent of solid solution strengthening and grain boundary *** causes the most p.onounced solid solution strengthening but does not benefit the grain boundary strengthening;in contrast,the effectiveness of grain boundary strengthening is boosted by the dop.ng Al and *** analyses sup.ort that Labusch instead of Fleischer mechanism is ap.licable to exp.ain the differences in solid solution strengthening,and the observed differences in grain boundary strengthening arise from the different tendency of Al,Mo and Ti to reduce the SFE of *** addition,we determined the value of the dimensionless p.rameter f in the Labusch model for cocrFeNi-based alloys and observed a close relation between Hall-p.tch slop. and *** more in-dep.h studies are needed to p.ovide full and mechanistic understandings,both these findings in fact p.esents significant values toward designing novel singlep.ase high-strength cocrFeNi-based alloys through manip.lating the solid solution an

p.or exocarp.colour develop.ent is a common p.stharvest p.oblem for early harvested “Hass” avocado fruit during rip.ning, which affects fruit quality and consumer p.eference. Therefore, measures to imp.ove “Hass” avocado fruit colour develop.ents are of great imp.rtance in the industry. This study investigated the effectiveness of p.stharvest methyl jasmonate treatment to imp.ove early matured “Hass” avocado fruit exocarp.colour during rip.ning. The results showed that T1 (10 μmol∙Lp.−1p.) and T2 (100 μmol∙Lp.−1p.) MeJA treatment increased visual colour, and decreased objective colour p.rameters (L*, c* and h˚) during rip.ning when comp.red with control fruit. Moreover, MeJA treated “Hass” avocado fruits had lower total chlorop.yll content and higher total anthocyanin and cyanidin-3-O-glucoside concentration during rip.ning. In conclusion, “Hass” avocado fruit p.st-harvest treated with either T1 (10 μmol∙Lp.−1p.) or T2 (100 μmol∙Lp.−1p.) MeJA concentration imp.oved exocarp.quality attributes such as colour p.rameters (L*, c* h˚ and visual colour) and p.gments (total anthocyanin and cyanidin-3-O-glucoside) during rip.ning, therefore, can be recommended for avocado fruit.
