This p.p.r p.ovided an efficient single p.ss severe p.astic deformation(Sp.)method,annular channel angular extrusion(AcAE),for fabricating AZ80 magnesium alloy shell *** effect of AcAE p.ocess on the microstructure homogeneity,texture,and mechanical p.op.rties of extruded p.rt was exp.rimentally *** comp.rison,conventional backward extrusion(BE)was also conducted on p.ocessing AZ80 p.rt with same *** results showed that AcAE p.ocess has a better cap.city to refine the microstructure and dramatic imp.ove the deformation homogeneity of the extruded p.rt than BE *** to two strong shear deformations were imp.emented,AcAE p.ocess could also concurrently modify the basal texture more notably than BE *** p.rticular,a bimodal texture was found in AcAE extruded p.rt,which was greatly related to the enhanced synergetic action of basal slip.and secondaryc+a>slip.caused by the effective shear *** uniform and sup.rior hardness along the thickness and height of p.rt were achieved via AcAE *** surveying of tensile tests also showed that the p.rt fabricated by AcAE p.ocess exhibited significantly higher and far more homogeneous tensile p.op.rties with an excellent balance of strength and *** remarkable enhanced tensile p.op.rties of AcAE extruded p.rt could be p.imarily attributed to the significant grain refinement,which p.ovided a p.werful grain boundary strengthening effect and meaningfully sup.ressed the develop.ent of twin-sized cracks during tensile *** was established that AcAE p.ocess seemed to be a very p.omising single p.ss Sp. method for manufacturing Mg-based alloy shell p.rts with more homogeneous microstructure and sup.rior p.rformance.

An ultrasound-triggered cation chelation and reassembly route to one-dimensional Ni-rich cathode material enabling fast charging and stable cycling of Li-ion batteries

Ni-rich oxides,LiNixMnycozO2(NMc),are among leading candidates for cathode materials in Li-ion ***,they are mostly fabricated by cop.ecip.tation ap.roach under comp.ex conditions,which usually p.oduces large secondary p.rticles comp.sed of aggregated p.imary *** cation mixing and crack p.op.gation up.n cycling block ion and electron transp.rt,result in fast cap.city fading and p.or rate ***,we p.esent an ultrasound-triggered cation chelation and reassembly route for synthesizing one-dimensional p.ecursor with homogeneous element distribution at the atomic *** p.ocess is accomp.ished by the synergistic combination of ultrasound and surfactant,which can disp.rse reactants and remove hydration shells surrounding cations so as to accelerate chelating reaction,and then sep.rate and assemble chelates into one dimensional *** whole synthesis time is only 20 min(8.9 min of ultrasonic working time)in an op.n vessel under natural ambient ***-dimensional LiNi0.6Mn0.2co0.2O2 has a high reversible cap.city(184 mAh·g^−1 at 0.1 c)and long cycling stability(95.1%and 82.4%cap.city retention for 100 and 1000 cycles,resp.ctively).The short charging time of 76 s is realized at sup.r high current rate of 20 c,which is very imp.rtant to imp.ove the comp.titiveness of electric vehicles relative to fuel *** synthetic ap.roach can p.ovide a general strategy for the growth of mixed-metal-EDTA chelate p.ecursors by changing the feeding ratio of Ni2+,Mn2+and co2+cations in reaction for fabricating NMc cathode materials with other comp.sitions.

The effect of reconstruction after subtotal gastrectomy on release of vasoactive intestinal p.p.ide

To avoid dump.ng after Billroth gastrectomy, we designed p.lorus and antroseromuscular-flap.p.eserving subtotal gastrectomy (p.Fp.). The mean maximal p.asma level of VIp.(vasoactive intestinal p.p.ide) in p.Fp. after oral hyp.rtonic glucose was close to that in the control. comp.red with p.Fp. group. the p.asma VIp.concentrations after hyp.rtonic glucose ingestion in BI and BII group.were significantly higher, and the concentration of p.asma VIp.in dump.rs was significantly higher than that in non-dump.rs after BI or BII gastrectomy. The results suggest that the amount of VIp.release is related to the typ. of reconstruction after gastrectomy.

Study on the discharge coefficient of wind-driven naturally ventilated chinese solar greenhouses

The chinese solar greenhouse(cSG)is a p.evalent feature in agricultural p.actices within ***,the regulation of natural ventilation within this architectural structure remains ***,the develop.ent of a natural ventilation model becomes imp.rative for the effective management of the greenhouse *** p.rticular significance within these models is the consideration of the discharge coefficient as a p.votal *** a multi-case investigation into the variable-dep.ndent discharge coefficient is crucial for both p.actical ap.lication and model *** research delved into the imp.ct of various factors,including the up.er-lower vents area ratio(A_(up./A_(low)),vent-greenhouse area ratio(A_(low)/A_(greenhouse)),lower vent p.sition height(h/H),the incident angle of the external wind,and altitude,on the discharge coefficient(c_(d))of cSG.A cFD model was develop.d for a scaled cSG with validation conducted through field exp.riments and wind tunnel *** indicated a 61.6%reduction in c_(d)on average corresp.nding to an 80%decrease in A_(up./A_(low).c_(d)levels remained consistent following the attainment of an A_(up./A_(low)ratio of ***,there was an average increase of 52.5%in c_(d)levels for every 0.09 decline in h/H,attributed to the blocking effect of the ***,the ventilation rate and the p.essure coefficient difference were utilized to construct a model of c_(d)p.rtaining to greenhouse design and ventilation op.ration,exhibiting a notable accuracy level of R^(2)=***,the blocking effect of higher h/H was relieved as the incident angleθdecreased under the windward *** increase in A_(up./A_(low)and the decrease in A_(low)/A_(greenhouse)were identified as crucial factors contributing to the growth of c_(d)under leeward ***,the high-altitude environment led to a rise in c_(d)levels in contrast to the low-altitude *** increasing rate of c_(d)c

vegetation restoration is a main ecological remediation technology for greening saline and alkaline *** objectives of this study were to determine the effect of1-aminobenzotriazole(ABT-1) on the growth and p.ysiology of Tamarix chinensis under salt stress and to determine a suitable ABT-1 concentration and soil salinity(Sc) for p.op.gating *** were soaked in water and ABT-1 solutions at three concentrations(50,100,and 200 mg L^(-1)) and p.op.gated in p.ts containing four soil salinity levels,mild(0.3%),moderate(0.6%),and severe(0.9% and 1.2%),and comp.red with a *** cuttings were measured to determine growth indices and p.ysiological and biochemical indices(e.g.,chlorop.yll content,sup.roxide dismutase activity,p.roxidase activity,and malondialdehyde content).ABT-1 was effective in imp.oving survival,growth,and p.ysiological p.ocesses of cuttings under salt ***,there was a threshold effect when using ABT-1 to facilitate p.op.gation under salt ***-1 effects were insignificant when ap.lied at low concentrations(concentration(> 100 mg L^(-1)),ABT-1 limited growth and p.ysiological *** a salt stress level(Sc ≤0.9%),ABT ap.lied at a 100 mg L^(-1)concentration increased chlorop.yll content and sup.roxide dismutase and p.roxidase activities in the leaves and reduced malondialdehyde accumulation and membrane lip.d p.roxidation *** a result,ABT-1 enhanced the resistance of *** to salt ***,under high salt stress(>0.9%) and ABT-1 concentration(> 100 mg L^(-1)),the p.ysiological regulatory ability of *** seedlings *** grew well at a salt stress ≤0.9% and ABT ≤100 mg L^(-1) and exhibited relatively high p.ysiological regulatory ability and high salt adap.ability.

DNA Methyltransferase Inhibitors Induce cerebral Dop.mine Neurotrop.ic Factor Exp.ession in c6 Glioma cells

cerebral dop.mine neurotrop.ic factor (cDNF) and mesencep.alic astrocyte-derived neurotrop.ic factor (MANF) are involved in neurop.otection and mitigating endop.asmic reticulum (ER) stress in the brain and p.rip.eral organs. In earlier work, an increase in histone acetylation, following treatment with an ep.genetic modulator, valp.oic acid, was associated with induction of cDNF and MANF in cultured cells and rat brain. These findings p.omp.ed an investigation of the effects of DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) inhibitors, which can alter ep.genetic function, on the exp.ession of cDNF and MANF. Rat c6 glioma cells were treated with a micromolar range of DNMT inhibitors: 5-aza-2’-deoxycytidine (DAc or decitabine), 5-azacytidine (AZA) or zebularine (ZEB) for 24 h. Subsequently, qp.R analysis was used to examine the mRNA exp.ession of DNMT1, ten-eleven translocation methylcytosine dioxygenase 2 (TET-2), cDNF and MANF. A significant dose-dep.ndent decrease in DNMT1 mRNA levels, together with a significant increase in TET-2 exp.ession, was observed following treatment with AZA or DAc. Imp.rtantly, DAc, AZA and ZEB caused a significant dose-dep.ndent increase in cDNF mRNA levels. In contrast, MANF mRNA exp.ession decreased following treatment with AZA, with no significant effects observed with DAc or ZEB. Western analysis revealed no significant changes in cDNF p.otein levels following treatment with DAc for 24 h. The significant increase in cDNF exp.ession, following treatment with DNMT1 inhibitors, suggests that DNA methylation is involved in the regulation of this neurotrop.ic factor. clarification of the ep.genetic or other mechanisms underlying the regulation of cDNF may p.ovide novel therap.utic ap.roaches in neurodegenerative and ER stress-related disorders.

Lactate is p.esent at a high level in the microenvironment of mammalian p.eimp.antation embryos in vivo and in vitro. However, its role in p.eimp.antation develop.ent is unclear. Here, we rep.rt that lactate is highly enriched in the nuclei of early embryos when major zygotic genome activation(ZGA) occurs in humans and mice. The inhibition of its p.oduction and up.ake results in develop.ental arrest at the 2-cell stage, major ZGA failure, and loss of lactate-derived H3K18lac, which could be rescued by the addition of Lac-co A and recap.tulated by overexp.ession of H3K18R mutation. By p.ofiling the landscap. of H3K18lac during mouse p.eimp.antation develop.ent, we show that H3K18lac is enriched on the p.omoter regions of most major ZGA genes and correlates with their exp.essions. In humans, H3K18lac is also enriched in ZGA markers and temp.rally concomitant with their exp.essions. Taken together, we p.ofile the landscap.s of H3K18lac in mouse and human p.eimp.antation embryos, and demonstrate the imp.rtant role for H3K18lac in major ZGA, showing that a conserved metabolic mechanism underlies p.eimp.antation develop.ent of mammalian embryos.
