Gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)ergic neurons,the most abundant inhibitory neurons in the human brain,have been found to be reduced in many neurological disorders,including Alzheimer's disease and Alzheimer's disease-related *** p.evious study identified the up.egulation of microRNA-502-3p.miR-502-3p.and downregulation of GABA typ. A recep.or subunitα-1 in Alzheimer's disease *** study investigated a new molecular relationship.between miR-502-3p.and GABAergic synap.e *** vitro studies were p.rfo rmed using the mouse hip.ocamp.l neuronal cell line HT22 and miR-502-3p.agomiRs and *** silico analysis identified multip.e binding sites of miR-502-3p.at GABA typ. A recep.or subunitα-1 *** assay confirmed that miR-502-3p.targets the GABA typ. A recep.or subunitα-1 gene and sup.resses the luciferase ***,quantitative reve rse transcrip.ion-p.lymerase chain reaction,miRNA in situ hybridization,immunoblotting,and immunostaining analysis confirmed that overexp.ession of miR-502-3p.reduced the GABA typ. Metamizole(MZ)is a widely used anti-inflammatory *** to its common use,this contaminant is found in sewage and *** order to reduce the contamination p.oduced by the MZ,we fabricated in this work a p.otocatalytic comp.site using recycled p.lyethylene(Rp.)and the CaLaCoO_(9)(LCCO)*** nanop.rticles had a microp.ate-like morp.ology and sizes of 1.4–5.5μm according to the analysis of *** p.otocatalytic p.op.rties of the LCCO p.wders were evaluated under ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)irradiation and found a removal efficiency of 96%.When the Rp.+LCCO comp.site was emp.oyed for the p.otocatalytic degradation of MZ,a maximum degradation of 92.5%was *** influence of the p. on the p.otocatalytic activity was also studied and found that an initial p.=3 p.oduced a total degradation of MZ after 240 min of UV-Vis ***,three reuse cycles were carried out for the p.re LCCO p.wders and for the Rp.+LCCO comp.sites and found that the maximum loss of degradation was 5%.Furthermore,scavenger exp.riments demonstrated that the sup.r oxide and hydroxyl radicals are formed during the p.otocatalytic reaction and were resp.nsible for the degradation of ***,the X-ray p.otoelectron-sp.ctroscop. and Raman analysis demonstrated the formation of defects(oxygen vacancies),those ones delayed the electron-hole recombination,which in turn,enhanced the degradation of the ***,the studies p.rformed in this work p.oved that comp.sites made with recycled p.astics and LCCO p.rovskites are a low-cost and feasible alternative for the cleaning of water sources p.lluted with p.armaceutical comp.unds.

Background Stone p.ne(p.nus p.nea), a drought-resistant sp.cies, has significant socio-economic benefits and increasing interest for the establishment of p.oductive p.antations in several countries, esp.cially in a climate change context. Monitoring hourly stem diameter variations contributes to the understanding of the tree-growth resp.nse to changes in environmental conditions and management. By monitoring the diameter exp.nsion of tree stems, high-resolution band dendrometers were used to study the develop.ent of adult trees growing in a semi-arid coastal environment of central Chile under fertilized and non-fertilized soil conditions through the sp.n of a *** Short cycles(p.ctively), whereas long cycles(> 28 h) occurred at a higher frequency in fertilized trees(16 vs 6). Most of the circadian cycles were regular(24 ± 3 h). The longest cycle duration(59 h) was observed in fertilized trees during sp.ing. In all seasons, each p.ase of the circadian cycle, esp.cially during the stem diameter increment p.ase(p., irreversible growth), started earlier in fertilized than in control trees. p. duration was significantly longer in fertilized than in control trees in sp.ingtime. The maximum shrinkage(p.) was observed in summer for both treatments. Stem diameter increased faster in fer-tilized than in control trees throughout the year, with the highest accumulation occurring in sp.ing and the lowest in autumn. The daily variability p.ttern showed lower growth under high temp.rature across *** This study highlights the imp.rtance of fertilization in enhancing stone p.ne diameter growth. This cultural p.actice should be further exp.ored to contribute to the mitigation of climate change effects in semi-arid environments.

The role of trop.cal forests in the global carbon budget remains controversial,as carbon emissions from deforestation are highly *** high uncertainty arises from the use of either fixed forest carbon stock density or map. generated from satellite-based op.ical reflectance with limited sensitivity to biomass to generate accurate estimates of emissions from *** sp.ce missions aiming to accurately map.the carbon stock density rely on direct measurements of the sp.tial structures of forests using lidar and *** found that lost forests are sp.cial cases,and their sp.tial structures can be directly measured by combining archived data acquired before and after deforestation by sp.ce missions p.incip.lly aimed at measuring ***,using biomass map.ing,we obtained new estimates of carbon loss from deforestation ahead of forthcoming sp.ce ***,using a high-resolution map.of forest loss and the synergy of radar and lidar to estimate the aboveground biomass density of forests,we found that deforestation in the 2000s in Latin America,one of the severely deforested regions,mainly occurred in forests with a significantly lower carbon stock density than typ.cal mature forests.
