Combination of CO_(2) cap.ure using inorganic alkali with subsequently electrochemical conversion of the resultant HCO_(3)^(-)to high-value chemicals is a p.omising route of low cost and high *** electrochemical reduction of HCO_(3)^(-)is challenging due to the inaccessible of negatively charged molecular group. to the electrode ***,we adop. a comp.ehensive strategy to tackle this challenge,i.e.,cascade of in situ chemical conversion of HCO_(3)^(-)to CO_(2) and CO_(2) electrochemical reduction in a flow *** a tailored Ni-N-S single atom catalyst(SACs),where sulfur(S)atoms located in the second shell of Ni center,the CO_(2)electroreduction(CO_(2)ER)to CO is *** exp.rimental results and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the introduction of S increases the p.electron density of N atoms near Ni atom,thereby stabilizing^(*)H over N and boosting the first p.oton coup.ed electron transfer p.ocess of CO_(2)ER,i.e.,^(*)+e^(-)+^(*)H+^(*)CO_(2)→^(*)*** a result,the obtained catalyst exhibits a high faradaic efficiency(FE_(CO)~98%)and a low overp.tential of 425 mV for CO p.oduction as well as a sup.rior turnover frequency(TOF)of 47397 h^(-1),outcomp.ting most of the rep.rted Ni *** imp.rtantly,an extremely high FECOof 90%is achieved at 50 mA cm^(-2)in the designed membrane electrode assembly(MEA)cascade electrolyzer fed with liquid *** work not only highlights the significant role of the second coordination on the first coordination shell of the central metal for CO_(2)ER,but also p.ovides an alternative and feasible strategy to realize the electrochemical conversion of HCO_(3)^(-)to high-value chemicals.

Op.imizing the intrinsic activity of non-noble metal by p.ecisely tailoring electronic structure offers an ap.ealing way to construct cost-effective catalysts for selective biomass ***,we rep.rted a p.dop.ng bifunctional catalyst(Ni-p.mSiO_(2))that achieved 96.6%yield for the hydrogenation rearrangement of furfural to cyclop.ntanone at mild conditions(1 Mp.H_(2),150°C).The turnover frequency of Ni-p.mSiO_(2)was 411.9 h^(-1),which was 3.2-fold than that of Ni/mSiO_(2)(127.2 h^(-1)).Detailed characterizations and differential charge density calculations revealed that the electron-deficient Niδ+sp.cies were generated by the electron transfer from Ni to p.which p.omoted the ring rearrangement *** functional theory calculations illustrated that the p.esence of p.atoms endowed furfural tilted adsorb on the Ni surface by the C=O group.and facilitated the desorp.ion of *** work unraveled the connection between the localized electronic structures and the catalytic p.op.rties,so as to p.ovide a p.omising reference for designing advanced catalysts for biomass valorization.

Stoichiometry p.ays a crucial role in biogeochemical cycles and can modulate soil nutrient availability and functions. In agricultural ecosystems,p.osp.orus(p. fertilizers(organic or chemical) are often ap.lied to achieve high crop.yields. However, p.is readily fixed by soil p.rticles, leading to low p.use efficiency. Therefore, understanding the role of carbon:nitrogen:p.stoichiometries of soil and microorganisms in soil p.transformation is of great significance for p.management in agriculture. This p.p.r p.ovides a comp.ehensive review of the recent research on stoichiometry effect on soil p.transformation in agricultural ecosystems. Soil microorganisms p.ay an imp.rtant role in the transformation of soil non-labile inorganic p.to microbial biomass p.by regulating microbial biomass stoichiometry. They also mobilize soil unavailable organic p.into available p.by changing ecoenzyme stoichiometry. Organic materials, such as manure and straw, p.ay an imp.rtant role in p.omoting the transformation of insoluble p.into available p.as well. Additionally, p.rip.ytic biofilms can reduce p.loss from rice field ecosystems. Agricultural stoichiometries are different from those of natural ecosystems and thereby should receive more attention due to the influences of anthrop.genic factors. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct further stoichiometry research on the soil biochemical mechanisms underlying p.transformation in agricultural ecosystems. In conclusion, understanding stoichiometry imp.ct on soil p.transformation is crucial for p.management in agricultural ecosystems.

Mounting evidence suggests that strategies combining DNA-damaging agents and stimulator of interferon genes(STING) agonists are p.omising cancer therap.utic regimens because they can amp.ify STING activation and remodel the immunosup.ressive tumor microenvironment. However, a single molecular entity comp.ising both agents has not yet been develop.d. Herein, we designed two p.IV-MSA-2 conjugates(Ⅰand Ⅱ) containing the DNA-damaging chemotherap.utic drug cisp.atin and the innate immuneactivating STING agonist MSA-2; these conjugates showed great p.tential as multisp.cific small-molecule drugs against p.ncreatic cancer. Mechanistic studies revealed that conjugate Ⅰ up.egulated the exp.ession of transcrip.s associated with innate immunity and metabolism in cancer cells, significantly differing from cisp.atin and MSA-2. An analysis of the tumor microenvironment demonstrated that conjugate I could enhance the infiltration of natural killer(NK) cells into tumors and p.omote the activation of T cells, NK cells and dendritic cells in tumor tissues. These findings indicated that conjugate I, which was created by incorp.rating a p. chemotherap.utic drug and STING agonist into one molecule, is a p.omising and p.tent anticancer drug candidate, op.ning new avenues for small-molecule-based cancer metalloimmunotherap..

Motivated by exp.riments with interacting quantum gases across high p.rtial wave resonance,we investigate the thermodynamic p.op.rties and single-p.rticle sp.ctra of Bose gases in normal p.ase for different interaction strengths for both p.and d-wave *** equation of state,contact density,momentum distributions and self-energies of single-p.rticle Green’s functions are obtained in the sp.rit of ladder diagram *** radio-frequency(RF)sp.ctrum,as an imp.rtant exp.rimental ap.roach for detecting Feshbach molecules or the interaction effect,is calculated at different temp.ratures.A reversed temp.rature dep.ndence on the Bose–Einstein condensation side and Bardeen–Coop.r–Schrieffer side is identified for both p.and d-wave *** estimate for the signal of RF sp.ctra under typ.cal exp.rimental conditions is also p.ovided.
