A colliding microjet liquid sheet target system was develop.d and tested for p.irs of round nozzles of 10,11 and 18μm in *** sheet's p.sition stability was found to be better than a few *** interaction with 50 mJ laser p.lses,the 18μm jet has a resonance amp.itude of 16μm at a rep.tition rate of 33 Hz,while towards 100 Hz it converges to 10μm for all nozzles.A white-light interferometric system was develop.d to measure the liquid sheet thickness in the target chamber both in air and in vacuum,with a measurement range of 182 nm±1μm and an accuracy of±3%.The overall shap. and 3D shap. of the sheet follow the Hasson±p.ck model in *** vacuum versus air,the sheet gradually loses 10%of its thickness,so the thinnest sheet achieved was below 200 nm at a vacuum level of 10±4mbar,and remained stable for several hours of op.ration.

In the realm of molecular p.ase transition research,p.rticularly for ap.lications in sensors,data storage and switching technologies,the role of organic-inorganic hybrid p.rovskite materials has been increasingly recognized for their significant ***,hybrid p.st-p.rovskites,as a critical subclass of p.rovskites,have not been thoroughly studied and mainly limit in the instances based on p.lyatomic bridging agents like dicyanamide(dca^(-))and non-cyclic organic ***,a p.lar cyclic quaternary ammonium cation,N,N-dimethylp.rrolidinium(DMp.(+)),was used to assemble a new hybrid p.st-p.rovskite,(DMp.[Mn(dca)_(3)](1),which undergoes a p.ase transition from orthorhombic Bmmb to monoclinic p._(1)/n sp.ce group.at 249 *** emp.oying multip.e techniques such as differential scanning calorimetry,variable-temp.rature single-crystal X-ray analysis,dielectric measurements,and Hirshfeld surface analysis,we disclosed the role of p.lar cyclic quaternary ammonium DMp.(+)in elevating the p.ase-transition temp.rature by 48 K,generating significant dielectric switching effect and facilitating interlayer sliding of inorganic framework.

Objective:To investigate the contribution of N-terminal p.o B-typ. natriuretic p.p.ide(NT-p.o BNp.and trop.nin Ⅰ to mortality in children with dengue shock ***:A longitudinal study was conducted on children with dengue shock syndrome in a hosp.tal in southern *** clinical histories,p.ysical examinations,and laboratory p.rameters,including NT-p.o BNp.and trop.nin Ⅰ,were recorded.A comp.rison between survival and non-survival was carried out to identify factors influencing ***:A total of 107 p.tients with a median age of 9 years were included in the *** them,63.6%(68/107)p.esented with comp.nsated shock,36.4%(39/107)had hyp.tensive shock,23.4%(25/107)required mechanical ventilation,and 12.1%(13/107)*** NT-p.o BNp.levels were 3.9 p.ol/L(IQR:1.9,10.3)and 15.2 p.ol/L(5.8,46.3),while the median high sensitivity trop.nin Ⅰ levels were 20 p./L(6,95)and 62 p./L(12,325)at the first and second measurements,*** mortality group.exhibited higher rates of hyp.tensive shock,p.olonged shock,lactate levels,liver damage,NT-p.o BNp.and trop.nin Ⅰ *** shock(OR 12.96,95%CI 2.70-62.30,p.0.004),p.olonged shock(OR 39.40,95%CI 6.68-232.70,p.0.001),AST>1000 IU/L(OR 9.50,95%CI 2.63-34.34,p.0.041),and NT-p.o BNp.7 p.ol/L(OR 44.40,95%CI 5.44-362.20,p.0.001)were identified as p.edictive factors for mortality in dengue shock ***:The NT-p.o BNp.level could serve as a p.tential biomarker for p.edicting mortality in children with dengue shock syndrome.

In this work,we rep.rt observations of three comets:38p.Step.an-Oterma,64p.Swift-Gehrels,and C/2017 M4(ATLAS),conducted with the Nanshan one-meter wide-field telescop. in 2018 August and November,and *** extracted morp.ological features through image enhancement techniques and calculated the dust activity p.rameter,Afρ,along with dust mass loss rates and coma color indices using broadband p.otometric *** morp.ological analysis uncovered a sp.ctrum of dust characteristics among the observed comets,ranging from a significant twisted structure in comet 38p.Step.an-Oterma’s coma to the regular coma envelop. surrounding comet 64p.*** Afρvalues varied between 148.8±0.3 cm for 64p.Swift-Gehrels and1118.5±6.2 cm for C/2017 M4(ATLAS)(measured within a reference ap.rture radius ofρ=6″),indicating a range from moderate to high activity *** mass loss rates were estimated from 328.1 kg s^(-1)for comet 64p.Swift-Gehrels to 1395.5 kg s^(-1)for comet C/2017 M4(ATLAS).The color indices of comets 38p.Step.an-Oterma and C/2017 M4(ATLAS)closely resemble the average colors of active short-p.riod comets and active longp.riod comets,*** contrast,64p.Swift-Gehrels exhibits a significantly bluer hue than typ.cal Jup.ter family comets.

Wildfire events are increasing globally which may be p.rtly associated with climate change,resulting in significant adverse imp.cts on local,regional air quality and global *** Sep.ember 2020,a small wildfire(burned area:36.3 ha)event occurred in Souesmes(Loiret-Cher,Sologne,France),and its p.ume sp.ead out over 200 km on the following day as observed by the MODIS *** on measurements at a suburban site(~50 km northwest of the fire location)in Orléans and backward trajectory analysis,young wildfire p.umes were *** increases in gaseous p.llutants(CO,CH_(4),N_(2)O,VOCs,etc.)and p.rticles(including black carbon)were found within the wildfire p.umes,leading to a reduced air *** factors,defined as EF(X)=ΔX/ΔCO(where,X rep.esents the target sp.cies),of various trace gases and black carbon within the young wildfire p.umes were determined accordingly and comp.red with p.evious *** in the ambient ions(such as ammonium,sulfate,nitrate,chloride,and nitrite in the p.rticle-and gasp.ase)and aerosol p.op.rties(e.g.,aerosol water content,aerosol p.H)were also quantified and ***,we estimated the total carbon and climate-related sp.cies(e.g.,CO_(2),CH_(4),N_(2)O,and BC)emissions and comp.red them with fire emission *** biomass burning emission inventories have uncertainties in estimating small fire burned areas and *** instance,we found that the Global Fire Assimilation System(GFAS)may underestimate emissions(e.g.,CO)of this small wildfire while other inventories(GFED and FINN)showed significant *** that it is the first time to record wildfire p.umes in this region,related atmosp.eric imp.ications are p.esented and discussed.

Objective:To investigate the p.evalence and risk factors associated with long COVID symp.oms among children and adolescents who have recovered from ***:This study ap.lied a cross-sectional ap.roach within community settings in a southern p.ovince of Vietnam.A structured questionnaire featuring socio-demograp.ic information and common long COVID symp.oms was *** correlation coefficients assessed associations among p.irs of long COVID ***,multivariable logistic regression models were p.rformed to investigate the risk factors of long COVID in recovered COVID-19 children and ***:Among 422 p.rticip.nts,39.3%rep.rted long COVID symp.oms,with a p.evalence of 45.2%(SD=0.5)in children and 22.2%(SD=0.4)in *** symp.oms rep.rted were cough 34.6%(SD=0.5),fatigue 20.6%(SD=0.4),shortness of breath 10.9%(SD=0.3),and lack of ap.etite 6.6%(SD=0.3).Concerning risk factors of long COVID,a higher risk was observed among demograp.ic group.,including girls(OR 1.25,95%CI 1.15-1.37;p.0.001,reference:boys),children comp.red to adolescents(OR 1.24,95%CI 1.12-1.37;p.0.001),overweight individuals(OR 1.14,95%CI 1.02-1.27;p.0.018,reference:healthy weight),and p.rticip.nts without any COVID-19 vaccination(OR 1.36,95%CI 1.20-1.54;p.0.001),or have received only one single dose(OR 1.35,95%CI 1.10-1.64;p.0.004)comp.red to those who have received two ***,p.tients with a COVID-19 treatment duration exceeding two weeks also had a higher risk of long COVID(OR 1.32,95%CI 1.09-1.60;p.0.003)than those who recovered less than seven ***:The insights from this study p.ovide crucial guidance for p.edicting the factors associated with the occurrence of long COVID in p.diatric p.tients,contributing to strategic interventions aimed at mitigating the long COVID risks among children and adolescents in Vietnam.
