Cross-resistance and genetics of field-evolved resistance to chlorfenap.r in p.utella xylostella

Chlorfenap.r is a broad-sp.ctrum halogenated p.rrole insecticide with a unique mode of *** to the misuse and overuse of this chemical,resistance has been rep.rted in several arthrop.ds,including p.utella xylostella,which is one of the most destructive insect p.sts afflicting crucifers worldwide.A better understanding of the cross-resistance and genetics of field-evolved chlorfenap.r resistance could effectively guide resistance management ***,the chlorfenap.r resistance of a fieldderived p.p.lation of p.xylostella was introgressed into the suscep.ible Ip.-S strain using a selection-assisted multigenerational backcrossing *** constructed nearisogenic strain,TH-BCsF2,shared 98.4%genetic background with the recurrent p.rent Ip.-S *** TH-BCsF2 strain showed 275-fold resistance to chlorfenap.r,but no significant cross-resistance to sp.nosad,abamectin,chlorp.rifos,β-cyp.rmethrin,indoxacarb,chlorantranilip.ole,or broflanilide(no more than 4.2-fold).Genetic analysis revealed that resistance was autosomal,incomp.etely dominant,and conferred by 1 major gene or a few tightly linked *** synergism of metabolic inhibitors(p.O,DEM,and DEF)to chlorfenap.r was very weak(p.red with the Ip.-S *** results enhances our understanding of the genetic traits of chlorfenap.r resistance,and p.ovides essential information for imp.oving resistance management strategies.

BACKGROUND Advanced gastric cancer(AGC)remains a challenging malignancy with p.or *** combination of oxalip.atin and trastuzumab has shown p.omising results in AGC *** study aimed to investigate the effects of oxalip.atin and trastuzumab combination therap. on serum tumor markers and T lymp.ocyte subsets in p.tients with AGC and to exp.ore their p.tential as p.edictive biomarkers for treatment *** To investigate the imp.ct of oxalip.atin and trastuzumab combination therap. on serum markers and T cell subsets in p.tients with *** This p.osp.ctive study enrolled 60 p.tients with *** p.tients received oxalip.atin(130 mg/m^(2),every 3 weeks)and trastuzumab(8 mg/kg loading dose,followed by 6 mg/kg every 3 weeks)for six *** carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),cancer antigen 19-9(CA19-9),and cancer antigen 72-4(CA72-4)were measured before and after treatment.T-lymp.ocyte subsets,including CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,and CD4+/CD8+ratios,were also *** clinical resp.nse was assessed using the Resp.nse Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version *** After six cycles of treatment,the CEA,CA19-9,and CA72-4 serum levels significantly decreased comp.red to baseline levels(p.0.001).The p.rcentages of CD3+and CD4+T lymp.ocytes increased significantly(p.0.05),whereas the p.rcentage of CD8+T lymp.ocytes decreased(p.0.05).The CD4+/CD8+ratio also significantly increased after treatment(p.0.05).p.tients with a higher decrease in serum tumor markers(≥50%reduction)and a higher increase in CD4+/CD8+ratio(≥1.5-fold)showed better clinical resp.nse rates(p.0.05).CONCLUSION Oxalip.atin and trastuzumab combination therap. effectively reduced serum tumor marker levels and modulated T lymp.ocyte subsets in p.tients with *** therap. not only has a direct antitumor effect,but also enhances the immune resp.nse in p.tients with *** tumor markers and T lymp.ocyte subsets may serve as p.tential p.edictive biomarkers for treatment resp.n
