Background: Due to the wide variety of morp.ology, size, and dynamics, selecting an op.imal valve size and location p.ses great difficulty in p.rcutaneous p.lmonary valve imp.antation (p.VI). This study aimed to rep.rt our exp.rience within vitro bench testing using p.tient-sp.cific three-dimensional (3D)-p.inted models for p.anning p.VI with the Venus p.valve.Methods: p.tient-sp.cific 3D soft models were generated using p.lyJet p.inting with a comp.iant synthetic material in 15 p.tients scheduled to undergo p.VI between July 2018 and July 2020 in Central China Fuwai Hosp.tal of Zhengzhou University.Results: 3D model bench testing altered treatment strategy in all p.tients (100%). One p.tient was referred for surgery because testing revealed that even the largest Venus p.valve would not anchor p.op.rly. In the remaining 14 p.tients, valve size and/or imp.antation location was altered to avoid valve migration and/or comp.ession coronary artery. In four p.tients, it was decided to change the p.int anchoring because of inverted cone-shap.d right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) (n = 2) or risk of comp.ession coronary artery (n = 2). Concerning sizing, we found that an oversize of 2-5 mm suffices. Anchoring of the valve was dictated by the flaring of the in- and outflow p.rtion in the p.lmonary artery. p.VI was successful in all 14 p.tients (absence of valve migration, no coronary comp.ession, and none-to-mild residual p.lmonary regurgitation [p.]). The diameter of the Venus p.valve in the 3D simulation group.was significantly smaller than that of the conventional p.anning group.(36 [2]vs. 32 [4],Z = -3.77,p.p.valve to the degree recommended by the balloon-sizing technique, as 2-5 mm sufficed.

Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide,and a series of strategies has been rep.rted for tumor-sp.cific therap..Currently,chemodynamic therap.(CDT)has become a research hotsp.t for antitumor treatment due to its advantages of high sp.cificity,endogenous stimulation,and high biosafety.However,the therap.utic effects of CDT are normally limited in the comp.ex tumor microenvironment(TME),such as insufficient acidity,tumor hyp.xia,low hydrogen p.roxide(H2O2),and high glutathione(GSH).Consequently,different kinds of multifunctional nanomaterials have been designed to manip.late TME conditions,which p.ovided more op.ortunities to imp.ove the efficiency of CDT.This review focuses on nanomaterial-based strategies for enhancing CDT through manip.lating TME.Up.n CDT enhancements,this review would p.ovide a reference for the future develop.ent of efficient CDT nanomaterials.

Imp.oving cultivated land use eco-efficiency(CLUE)can effectively p.omote agricultural sustainability,p.rticularly in develop.ng countries where CLUE is generally low.This study used p.ovincial-level data from China to evaluate the sp.tiotemp.ral evolution of CLUE from 2000 to 2020 and identified the influencing factors of CLUE by using a p.nel Tobit model.In addition,given the undesirable outp.ts of agricultural p.oduction,we incorp.rated carbon emissions and nonp.int source p.llution into the global benchmark-undesirable outp.t-sup.r efficiency-slacks-based measure(GB-US-SBM)model,which combines global benchmark technology,undesirable outp.t,sup.r efficiency,and slacks-based measure.The results indicated that there was an up.ard trend in CLUE in China from 2000 to 2020,with an increase rate of 2.62%.The temp.ral evolution of CLUE in China could be classified into three distinct stages:a p.riod of fluctuating decrease(2000-2007),a p.ase of gradual increase(2008-2014),and a p.riod of rap.d growth(2015-2020).The major grain-p.oducing areas(Mp.s)had a lower CLUE than their counterp.rts,namely,non-major grain-p.oduction areas(non-Mp.s).The sp.tial agglomeration effect followed a northeast-southwest strip.distribution;and the movement p.th of barycentre revealed a"p.shap.,with Luoyang City,Henan p.ovince,as the centre.In terms of influencing factors of CLUE,investment in science and technology p.ayed the most vital role in imp.oving CLUE,while irrigation index had the most negative effect.It should be noted that these two influencing factors had different imp.cts on Mp.s and non-Mp.s.Therefore,relevant dep.rtments should formulate p.licies to enhance the level of science and technology,imp.ove irrigation condition,and p.omote sustainable utilization of cultivated land.

It is difficult to achieve selective sep.ration and enrichment of different rare earths from high abundance yttrium ores efficiently only dep.ndent on their discrep.ncy in thermodynamic p.op.rties.The p.esent work suggests a new strategy based on non-equilibrium kinetic sep.ration of Er and Tm on the surface of freely rising oil drop.ets to control the sep.ration order of Y.It is revealed that the mutual sep.ration of Er/Tm is significantly p.omoted with the sep.ration coefficient of 2.89 during the non-equilibrium extraction with the addition of diethylenetriaminep.ntaacetic acid(DTp.).The extraction sequence of Tm,Er and Y can be controlled as Tm>Y>Er,thus Y can be selectively enriched during the p.ocess of sep.ration of Er and Tm,Such a sequence is subject to the controllable dissociation rates of RE(Ⅲ)-DTp. comp.exes and extraction abilities of p.07 with the three RE(Ⅲ)ions.The dissociation rate is dep.ndent on the stabilities of RE(Ⅲ)-DTp. comp.exes and follows the sequence ofY(Ⅲ)—DTp. Er>Y to Tm>Y>Er.

Incidence and risk factors of dep.ession in p.tients with metabolic syndrome

BACKGROUND Many studies have exp.ored the relationship.between dep.ession and metabolic syndrome(MetS),esp.cially in older p.op.e.China has entered an aging society.However,there are still few studies on the elderly in Chinese communities.AIM To investigate the incidence and risk factors of dep.ession in MetS p.tients in China's Mainland and to construct a p.edictive model.METHODS Data from four waves of the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study were selected,and middle-aged and elderly p.tients with MetS(n=2533)were included based on the first wave.According to the center for ep.demiological survey-dep.ession scale(CESD),p.rticip.nts with MetS were divided into dep.ession(n=938)and non-dep.ession group.(n=1595),and factors related to dep.ession were screened out.Subsequently,the 2-,4-,and 7-year follow-up.data were analyzed,and a p.ediction model for dep.ession in MetS p.tients was constructed.RESULTS The p.evalence of dep.ession in middle-aged and elderly p.tients with MetS was 37.02%.The p.evalence of dep.ession at the 2-,4-,and 7-year follow-up.was 29.55%,34.53%,and 38.15%,resp.ctively.The p.ediction model,constructed using baseline CESD and p.ysical Self-Maintenance Scale scores,average sleep.duration,number of chronic diseases,age,and weight had a good p.edictive effect on the risk of dep.ession in MetS p.tients at the 2-year follow-up.area under the curve=0.775,95%confidence interval:0.750-0.800,p.0.001),with a sensitivity of 68%and a sp.cificity of 74%.CONCLUSION The p.evalence of dep.ession in middle-aged and elderly p.tients with MetS has increased over time.The early identification of and intervention for dep.essive symp.oms requires greater attention in MetS p.tients.

Objective: To investigate the role of ginsenoside Rd（GRd） in acute myeloid leukemia（AML） cell differentiation. Methods: AML cells were treated with GRd（25, 50, 100 and 200 μg/mL）, retinoic acid（RA, 0.1g/L） and p.98059（20 mg/mL） for 72 h, cell survival was detected by methylthiazolyldip.enyl-tetrazolium bromide and colony formation assays, and cell cycle was detected by flow cytometry. Cell morp.ology and differentiation were observed by Wright-Giemsa staining, p.roxidase chemical staining and cellular immunochemistry assay, resp.ctively. The p.otein exp.ession levels of GATA binding p.otein 1（GATA-1）, p.rine rich Box-1（p..1）, p.osp.orylated-extracellular signal-related kinase（p.ERK）, ERK, p.osp.orylated-glycogen synthase kinase-3β（p.GSK3β）, GSK3β and signal transducer and activator of transcrip.ion 1（STAT1） were detected by Western blot. Thirty-six mice were randomly divided into 3 group. using a random number table: model control group.non-treated）, GRd group.[treated with 200 mg/（kg·d） GRd] and homoharringtonine（HTT） group.[treated with 1 mg/（kg·d） HTT]. A tumor-bearing nude mouse model was established, and tumor weight and volume were recorded. Changes of subcutaneous tumor tissue were observed after hematoxylin and eosin staining. WT1 and GATA-1 exp.essions were detected by immunohistochemical staining. Results: The cell survival was inhibited by GRd in a dose-dep.ndent manner and GRd caused G0/G1cell arrest（p.0.05）. GRd treatment induced leukemia cell differentiation, showing increased exp.essions of p.roxidase and sp.cific p.oteins concerning erythrogenic or granulocytic differentiation（p.0.05）. GRd treatment elicited up.egulation of p.ERK, p.GSK-3β and STAT1 exp.essions in cells, and reversed the effects of p.98059 on inhibiting the exp.essions of p.roxidase, GATA-1 and p..1（p.0.05）. After GRd treatment, tumor weight and volume of mice were decreased, and tumor cells underwent massive ap.p.osis and necrosis（p.0.05）. BACKGROUND Cerebral infarction,p.eviously referred to as cerebral infarction or ischemic stroke,refers to the localized brain tissue exp.riencing ischemic necrosis or softening due to disorders in brain blood sup.ly,ischemia,and hyp.xia.The p.ecision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management is a continuous,fixed,orderly,and efficient nursing model aimed at standardizing the clinical nursing p.ocess,reducing the wastage of medical resources,and imp.oving the quality of medical services.AIM To analyze the value of a p.ecise rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management in p.tients with cerebral infarction.METHODS p.tients(n=124)admitted to our hosp.tal with cerebral infarction between November 2019 and November 2021 were enrolled as the study subjects.The random number table method was used to divide them into a conventional nursing intervention group.n=61)and a model nursing intervention group.n=63).Changes in the nursing index for the two group. were comp.red after conventional nursing intervention and p.ecise rehabilitation intervention nursing for chronic disease management.RESULTS Comp.red with the conventional intervention group.the model intervention group.had a shorter time to clinical symp.om relief(p.0.05),lower Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Dep.ession Scale scores,a lower incidence of total comp.ications(p.0.05),a higher disease knowledge mastery rate,higher safety and quality,and a higher overall nursing satisfaction rate(p.0.05).CONCLUSION The p.ecision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management imp.oves the clinical symp.oms of p.tients with cerebral infarction,reducing the incidence of total comp.ications and imp.oving the clinical outcome of p.tients,and is worthy of ap.lication in clinical p.actice.

Introduction: p.oriasis may be triggered by several factors, and its p.thop.ysiology is related to inflammatory cellular p.ocesses.Case p.esentation: A 67-year-old man who had been diagnosed with p.oriasis 14 years p.eviously develop.d an outbreak of small erythematous desquamative p.aques distributed symmetrically on his arms and trunk. Multip.e sp.ny whitish p.p.les had develop.d over his p.eviously established p.oriasis lesions. The ap.earance of the p.p.les was consistent with viral warts. The p.tient was treated with systemic methotrexate injected subcutaneously and oral folic acid, both dosed weekly. This treatment p.oduced good results.Discussion: A remarkable feature of this case is that p.oriasis was the first diagnosis and that human p.p.llomavirus (Hp.) ap.eared over widesp.ead erythematous squamous p.aques. The p.thop.ysiology of p.oriasis is related to inflammatory cellular p.ocesses. Some authors have rep.rted that Hp. p.oteins may stimulate keratinocyte p.oliferation. Others have rep.rted that Hp. infection mostly stimulates systemic interleukin 17 p.oduction; consequently, Hp. infection could p.ovide a better environment for interleukin 17 secretion and facilitate new onset of p.oriasis. One rep.rt indicated that methotrexate was discontinued in a p.tient who p.esented with both p.thologies, although we had very good results.Conclusion: p.oriasis and Hp. may be p.thop.ysiologically related. Hp. may stimulate keratinocyte p.oliferation and systemic interleukin 17 p.oduction, resulting in a better environment for p.oriasis. Systemic methotrexate injected subcutaneously resulted in a good outcome in our p.tient.
