The plausibility of human exposure to particulate matter(PM)has witnessed an increase within the last several *** of different sizes has been discovered in the atmosphere.given the role of dust transport in weather and climate *** a regulator,the lung epithelium orchestrates the innate response to local ***,we developed a lung epithelium-ona-chip platform consisting of easily moldable polydimethylsiloxane layers along with a thin,flexible,and transparent ionic liquid-based poly(hydroxyethyl)methacrylate.gel *** epithelium was formed through the culture of human lung epithelial cells(Calu-3)on this *** mechanical stress at the air–liquid interface during inhalation/exhalation was recapitulated using an Arduino-based servo motor system,which applied a uniaxial tensile stre.gth from the two sides of the chip with 10%strain and a frequency of 0.2 ***,the administration of silica nanoparticles(PM0.5)with an average size of 463 nm to the on-chip platform under static,dynamic,and dynamic+mechanical stress(DMS)conditions demonstrated the effect of environmental pollutants on lung *** viability and release of lactate dehydrogenase were determined along with proinflammatory response through the quantification of tumor necrosis factor-α,which indicated alterations in the epithelium.

In this editorial,the roles of tata-box-binding protein-associated factor 15(TAF15)in oncogenesis,tumor behavior,and as a therapeutic target in cancers in the context of gastrointestinal(gI)tumors are discussed concerning the publication by guo et ***15 is a member of the FeT protein family with a comprehensive range of cellular ***,evidence has shown that TAF15 is involved in many diseases,including ***15 contributes to carcinogenesis and tumor behavior in many ***,its relationship with the mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPK)signaling pathway makes TAF15 a new target for ***,the fact that there is few studies investigating the expression of TAF15 constitutes a potential limitation in gI system,the association of TAF15 expression with aggressive tumor behavior and,similar to other organ tumors,the influence of TAF15 on the MAPK signaling pathway emphasize that this protein could serve as a new molecular biomarker to predict tumor behavior and target therapeutic intervention in gI *** conclusion,more studies should be performed to better understand the prognostic and therapeutic role of TAF15 in gI tumors,especially in tumors resistant to therapy.

In this study,phenolic profile of Allium scorodoprasum *** and its bioactivity in multiway approach including antioxidant,antimicrobial,antidiabetic,cytotoxic and antiinflamatory activities were *** extraction of phenolic and flavonoid compounds from Allium scorodoprasum *** was optimized as a function of ethanol percentage,extraction temperature and extraction time by employing a response surface *** optimal extraction conditions were found as 79℃extraction temperature,28%ethanol and 118 min duration of the *** was determined as the major phenolic compound of the extract obtained under the optimal conditions and followed by vanillic,caffeic,2,4 hydroxybenzoic and ellagic *** addition to high antioxidant capacity,the obtained extract showed antimicrobial activity,against different bacteria and *** concentrations of the extract obtained at the optimal conditions that inhibited 50%of Aspe.gillus oryzae and pancreaticα-amylases andα-glycosidase activities were calculated as 11.56,14.35 and 19.35 mg extract/mL,*** antiinflammatory effect of the obtained extract was also examined,and it was more inhibitory against xanthine oxidase activity than against lipoxygenase *** cytotoxicity of the optimized extract was observed against breast and bone cancer cells,and it showed significant cytotoxic activity especially on bone cancer *** a result,Allium scorodoprasum *** could serve as a promising source of natural bioactive compounds for application in food and non-food products.

BACKgROUND In cases of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),favipiravir is commonly included to the therapy *** interactions between favipiravir and other COVID-19 therapy drugs are frequently ***,no research on possible drug interactions between Favipiravir and radiocontrast agents,which have become almost crucial in diagnostic processes while not being part of the treatment,has been *** To determine potential medication interactions between Favipiravir and radiocontrast *** The study comprised patients who were taking Favipiravir for COVID-19 therapy and underwent a contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CT)or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)test while taking the *** computerized patient files of the cases included in the study,as well as the pharmacovigilance forms in the designated hospital,were evaluated for this *** The study included the evaluation of data from 1046 *** study sample's mean age was 47.23±9.48 *** mean age of cases with drug interactions was statistically significant greater than that of cases with no drug interactions(P=0.003).When evaluated with logistic regression analysis,a 1-year raises in age increases the risk of developing drug interactions by 1.63 times(P=0.023).There was no statistically significant difference in the occurrence of medication interactions between the sexes(P=0.090).Possible medication interactions were discovered in 42 cases(4%).CONCLUSION The findings of this study revealed that the most notable findings as a result of the combined use of contrast agents and favipiravir were increased creatinine and transaminase values,as well as an increase in the frequency of nausea and *** majority of drug interactions discovered were modest enough that they were not reflected in the *** interactions become more common as people.get older.

The management of Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) infection treatment differs from the common treatment protocol for other infectious diseases. Because culture-or molecular-guided approaches face several practical issues, such as the invasive procedures required to obtain gastric biopsy specimens and the lack of availability of routine laboratory testing in some places, H. pylori treatment includes the administration of two or three empirically selected antibiotics combined with a proton pump inhibitor rather than evidence-based eradication treatment. The efficacy of empirical therapy is decreasing, mostly due to increasing multiple resistance. Multiresistance to levofloxacin, clarithromycin, and metronidazole, which are commonly used in empirical treatments, appears to have increased in many countries. Mutations play a primary role in the antimicrobial resistance of H. pylori, but many different mechanisms can be involved in the development of antibiotic resistance. Determining and understanding these possible mechanisms might allow the development of new methods for the detection of H. pylori and the determination of antimicrobial resistance. A treatment based on the detection of antimicrobial resistance is usually more effective than empirical treatment. Nevertheless, such an approach before treatment is still not recommended in the Maastricht guidelines due to the difficulty associated with the routine application of available cultureor molecular-based susceptibility tests, which are usually administered in cases of treatment failure. The management of first and rescue treatments requires further research due to the steadily increase in antimicrobial resistance.
