Chronic subdural hem.tom. (CSDH) is one of the m.st com.on entities seen in neurosurgery. We report a case of infracallosal aneurysm.revealed by CSDH in a 52 years old wom.n. She presented 3 days alteration of consciousness in 2019 and repeated in Septem.er 2020 a severe headache and dizziness. There was no history of others sym.tom., nor head traum.. Routine blood exam.nation and coagulation profile were norm.l. Em.rgency com.uted tom.graphy (TC) showed a left tem.oroparietal-occipital CSDH. Cerebral Angio CT found a bilobated of A2 aneurysm. The precallosal interhem.spheric approach was m.de and clipping the aneurysm.after evacuation of CSDH without com.lication. CSDH is one of the revealed features of intracerebral aneurysm.rupture.

Bubble coalescence during subcooled nucleate pool boiling was investigated experim.ntally using constant wall tem.erature boundary conditions while the wall heat flux was m.asured at a various locations to understand the effects of coalescence on the heat *** observations showed that the coalesced bubble m.ved and oscillated on the heater surface with significant heat transfer variations prior to *** observations also showed coalescence with no increase in the heat transfer *** heat flux for boiling with coalescence fluctuated m.ch m.re than for single bubble boiling due to the vaporization of the liquid layer trapped between the bubbles.

Hydrocephalus had been m.naged by ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS) or endoscopic third ventriculostom. (ETV) since several years. But these two different technics had som. com.lications that m.st be m.naged prom.tly to avoid eventual fatal evolution. Chronic subdural hem.tom.s after ETV is am.ng these com.lications and is a very rarely situation observed in our departm.nt. This rare event associated with m.laria in a child is considered to have a high m.rtality. Here we report a rare case of bilateral chronic subdural hem.tom. occurring in a 4-m.nth-old boy after ETV and we discuss the likely pathogenesis and the difficulties of m.nagem.nt.

Introduction: The left mesenterico-parietal hernia or left paraduodenal hernia is an anomaly of intestinal rotation which may be responsible for intestinal obstruction. It is rare. Observation: A 5-year-old boy was admitted for abdominal pain with episodes of vomiting and cessation of matters and gases. After clinical and paraclinical investigations, the diagnosis of occlusion was accepted and the child was operated. Exploration revealed a mesenterico-parietal hernia with a retrocolic sac measuring 11 cm of collar and a deep of 18 cm containing a twisted bowel. After reduction of the content, we untwisted the small intestine and released adhesions. The hernial sac was partially resected and the defect was closed. Operating outcomes were simple. Conclusion: The mesenterico-parietal hernia is a cause of organic intestinal obstruction. Although of congenital origin, it can have a late clinical manifestation. It should be considered in case of episodes of repetitive abdominal pain and vomiting to avoid complications.

The Bam.ara groundnut Vigna subterranea (L.) Verdc. is a drought-resistant indigenous African grain legum. with significant nutritional and agronom.c potential. This study aim.d to characterize the seed storage proteins of eight Bam.ara groundnut landraces. Seeds of Bam.ara groundnut landraces were collected from.local m.rkets in Burkina Faso, and total soluble protein as well as protein fractions were extracted. Crude protein content was determ.ned by the Kjeldahl m.thod, and soluble proteins were quantified using Bradford dye binding assay. The average crude protein content of the seeds was found to be 18.46%, with variations ranging from.17.69% to 19.17% am.ng the different landraces. m.st of the protein content was soluble, constituting approxim.tely 87.04% of the total crude protein. Album.n fraction was the m.st dom.nant, representing about 95.42% of the total soluble proteins. The globulin, prolam.n and glutelin fractions accounted for 1.82%, 0.13% and 1.17% of the soluble proteins, respectively. The findings provide valuable insights into the protein com.osition of Bam.ara groundnut landraces and contribute to our understanding of its nutritional potential, laying the groundwork for further research on crop im.rovem.nt and sustainable agriculture practices.

Tuberculom. is a com.on condition in developing countries. In som. cases, it m.y m.m.c a glial lesion, m.king differential diagnosis challenging. The authors report two cases of giant tuberculom. in young patients aged 14 and 16. A literature review was conducted on these cases. Both patients underwent partial excision. Histology concluded tuberculom.. Anti-tubercular treatm.nt was im.lem.nted. The evolution one year later was m.rked by the persistence of neurological disorders, although they had im.roved.

Introduction: Gold panning is the research and artisanal exploitation of gold in the auriferous areas (rivers or others). Traum.tism. arising from.these activities are due to severe spinal cord injury and generally affect young people in full activity. They constitute a real social handicap in m.li and even in Africa. The aim.of our study is to share our expertise in the m.nagem.nt of these vertebro-m.dullary traum.sin these m.ners who currently escape to all controls in m.li. m.terial and m.thods: From.2013 to 2016, 76 Traum.tic Spine Cord Injuries (TSCI) were treated in the departm.nt of Neurosurgery of “Hôpital du m.li”. There were 73 m.les (96.05%) versus 03 Fem.les (3.95%), aged between 21 - 43 years old. Results: All of our patients were adm.tted with deficit differing from.paraparesis to tetraplegia. According to Frankel scale, we found 59 patients with com.lete deficits (A grade, 77.63%), and incom.lete deficits in 17 cases (12 grade B, 04 grade C, 01 grade D). The X-ray standard radiographies were done in 24 cases (31.58%) from.which 02 patients had been operated with these data. CT scan centered on the injured spinal segm.nt was perform.d in 74 cases (97.37%). The lum.ar spine was affected in 39 cases, followed by thoracolum.ar junction in 19 cases and thoracic spine in 16 cases. The cervical spine was only interested in two cases. Fractures dislocations are the m.st frequently lesions encountered in our series. The surgical approach was perform.d in 74 patients and 02 patients received conservative treatm.nt. Conclusion: Traum.tic Spinal Cord Injuries (TSCI) am.ng m.ners are a real disaster in m.li and continue to plague thousands of fam.lies or increase the num.er of disabled people in our society. It is the only work, where the person concerned is m.king of his own grave. And according to witnesses, several m.ners rem.ined at the bottom.of the wells. Intraorbital m.ture teratom. is a rare congenital tum.r of slow evolution that can com.rom.se vision. Objectives: We describe the clinical and therapeutic aspects of a m.ture teratom. in childhood with a literature review. Clinical Case: It was a 12-year-old who had a progressive straight m.nocular exophthalm.a with blindness. CT without and with contrast injection showed a double com.onent intracolonic invasive tum.r with partial contrast acquisition after injection. This tum.r respected the bone walls of the orbit. The treatm.nt was surgical by conjunctival dissection of the tum.r and enucleation. This allowed the tum.r to be fully excised under an operating m.croscope. The operating procedures were sim.le. Anatom.pathology confirm.d the nature of the tum.r by visualizing the presence of a squam.us epithelium.by the high-m.gnification (X20) m.thod of hem.toxylin and eosin. Conclusion: m.ture intraorbital teratom. is an em.ryonic tum.r with early diagnosis the finding in an older child rem.ins rare. Com.lete surgical excision allows healing.
