Production of polysaccharides by lactic acid bacteria is vital and its technology is very im.ortant, too in dairy study. The selection ofexpolysaccharides producing encapsulated Lactobacillus bulgaricus in alginate gel and the factors affecting the production of polysaccharides such as tim., tem.erature, pH and the growth with Streptococcus therm.philus were studied, pH 5.5 and tem.erature 35℃/18hr were found to be optim.l for exopolysaccharides production by encapsulated L. bulgaricus and free culture yielding 600 m./L and 380 m./L respectively. Co-culturing L. bulgaricus with S. therm.philus increased exopolysaccharides production at 35 ℃/18hr to 660 m./L by encapsulated cells and 400 m./L by free culture. Results of this study were applied in the m.nufacture of Labneh cheese vitally containing probiotic species ofL. acidophilus, L. gasseri, L. johnsonii and protection of these bacteria by polysaeeharide produced encapsulated L. bulgaricus. The use of exopolysaccharides producing encapsulated L. bulgaricus and probiotic bacteria can provide acceptable quality to functional Labneh. This product can be used as therapeutic and diabetic m.lk product with highly acceptable qualities. It is noted that all of the results are the m.ans of triplicate experim.nts.

A hybrid optical switch （HOS） with physical layer of wavelength division m.ltiplexing and optical code division m.ltiplexing （WDm.OCDm. schem. is proposed. An additional feature to the HOS than optical cross connect （OXC） is that the controller can process requests for both circuit establishm.nt and burst scheduling. In our study, the m.asurem.nt criteria of HOS are the blocking probability, probability of error, and probability of outage. To sim.lify the analysis, no distinction is m.de between a circuit in progress and a burst in progress. m.reover, a m.nim.m.fit （m.nF） resource allocation strategy is applied in order to increase the bandwidth efficiency and control the m.ltiplexing interference of the OCDm. A 2D m.rkov m.del for the HOS is presented using the m.nF strategy. Num.rical results reveal that the code param.ters and the resource allocation strategy greatly affect the perform.nce. Certain periority can be achieved by assigning shorter codes to high periority users and longer codes to low periority users. Also, the probability of error and outage are reduced bv aonling the m.nF strategy.

Brain tum.r is one of the m.st dreadful worldwide types of cancer and affects people leading to *** resonance im.ging m.thods capture skull im.ges that contain healthy and affected *** checked the affected tissue in the slice-by-slice m.nner,which was tim.consum.ng and hectic ***,auto segm.ntation of the affected part is needed to facilitate ***,we have considered a hybrid m.del that inherits the convolutional neural network(CNN)properties to the support vector m.chine(SVm.for the auto-segm.nted brain tum.r *** CNN m.del is initially used to detect brain tum.rs,while SVm.is integrated to segm.nt the tum.r region *** proposed m.thod was evaluated on a publicly available BraTS2020 *** statistical param.ters used in this work for the m.them.tical m.asures are precision,accuracy,specificity,sensitivity,and dice ***,our m.thod achieved an accuracy value of 0.98,which is m.st prom.nent than existing ***,the proposed approach is m.re suitable for m.dical experts to diagnose the early stages of the brain tum.r.

Online reviews are considered of an im.ortant indicator for users to decide on the activity they wish to do, whether it is watching a m.vie, going to a restaurant, or buying a product. It also serves businesses as it keeps tracking user feedback. The sheer volum. of online reviews m.kes it difficult for a hum.n to process and extract all significant inform.tion to m.ke purchasing choices. As a result, there has been a trend toward system. that can autom.tically sum.arize opinions from.a set of reviews. In this paper, we present a hybrid algorithm.that com.ines an auto-sum.arization algorithm.with a sentim.nt analysis (SA) algorithm. to offer a personalized user experiences and to solve the sem.ntic-pragm.tic gap. The algorithm.consists of six steps that start with the original text docum.nt and generate a sum.ary of that text by choosing the N m.st relevant sentences in the text. The tagged texts are then processed and then passed to a Naive Bayesian classifier along with their tags as training data. The raw data used in this paper belong to the tagged corpus positive and negative processed m.vie reviews introduced in [1]. The m.asures that are used to gauge the perform.nce of the SA and classification algorithm.for all test cases consist of accuracy, recall, and precision. We describe in details both the aspect of extraction and sentim.nt detection m.dules of our system.

The problem.with fixed valve tim.ng that the valve train is set by the autom.ker for peak efficiency running at a specific point in the engine’s operating range. When the vehicle is m.ving slower or faster than this ideal operating point the engine’s com.ustion cycle fails to properly burn the air/fuel m.xture leading to considerably com.rom.sed engine perform.nce and wastes fuel. Variable Valve Tim.ng (VVT) is a solution developed to overcom. this engine deficiency, dynam.cally altering the valve's opening and closing for optim.l perform.nce at any speed. The intension in this work is to contribute towards pursuing the developm.nt of variable valve tim.ng (VVT) for im.roving the engine perform.nce. This investigation covers the effect of exhaust valve opening (EVO), and closing (EVC) angle on engine perform.nce and em.ssions. The aim.is to optim.ze engine power and brake specific fuel consum.tion (BSFC) where the effect of engine speed has also been considered. Power, Bm.P, BSFC, NO, and CO were calculated and presented to show the effect of varying valve tim.ng on them.for all the valve tim.ng cases. The calculations of engine perform.nce were carried out using the sim.lation and analysis engineering software: LOTUS”, and engine em.ssions were calculated using “ZINOX” program. Sensitivity analysis shows that the reduction of 10% of (EVO) angle gave a reduction of around 2.5% in power and volum.tric efficiency, also a slight increase in nitrogen oxide (NO) and carbon m.noxide (CO), while a 10% decrease in (EVC) causes around 1% im.rovem.nt in Power. The effects of different (VVT) from.the sim.lations are analyzed and com.ared with those in the reviewed literature.

This study evaluates the extent of voluntary disclosure in the annual reports of non-financial com.anies listed at the Am.an Stock Exchange （ASE） for the year 2006. The study adopts the disclosure index suggested by Haddad, AI-Shattarat ＆ Nobanee （2009） and evaluates the voluntary disclosure for the Jordanian com.anies for the year 2006 at three levels： the first provides a description and analysis of the overall voluntary disclosure; the second covers the extent to which each individual item.of inform.tion is disclosed; the third covers the type of inform.tion （e.g., financial inform.tion, historical inform.tion, m.nagem.nt discussion）. The results of the study reveal that there was a considerable variation in the disclosure of the index item. and also am.ng the listed com.anies. On average, a com.any disclosed about 28.95% of the item. applicable to it, and only six out of the 53 com.anies received disclosure scores greater than 50%. It was also found that 50 item. out of 62 item. included in the index had a disclosure below 50%, and 10 item. had disclosure of less than 10%. With respect to the evaluation of different types of inform.tion, the analyses indicated that the category of the background inform.tion, the category of financial ratios and the category of m.nagem.nt discussions were better disclosed in corporate annual reports than the other types of inform.tion.

The Qassim.province is one of the m.st arid regions of Saudi Arabia, however heavy rainfall events have led to water logging problem. in the populated centers like Buraidah m.inly as a consequence of construction in low lying areas and valleys. Urban rain storm.water logging problem.were reported at 4 localities in the Buraidah m.nicipal area after heavy rainfall in Novem.er 2008 and m.rch 2009. The logged water from.these sites were directed to 4 m.nm.de lakes however the stagnant water in these lakes posed a serious environm.ntal threat m.inly in the form.of water borne disease. Keeping this problem.in m.nd, a detailed geophysical investigation in the form.of electrical Resistivity Tom.graphy was carried out using the SYSCAL Pro Unit at these 4 locations with a dipole-dipole configuration. The survey was helpful in delineating the wet zones from.the dry ones and based on the interpretations the optim.m.depth and sites of 4 injections bore-wells were determ.ned at each locality. These injection bore-well would serve the dual propose of getting rid of the stagnant water in these lakes and also recharging the underlying aquifers.

This paper presents a dual band Band Pass Filter (BPF) operating at both the downlink and uplink frequency bands for Ku-band satellite applications. The com.only used frequency band in m.bile com.unications satellites is the Ku-band. These m.bile satellite system. help connect rem.te regions, vehicles, ships, people and aircraft to other parts of the world and/or other m.bile or stationary com.unications units, in addition to serving as navigation system.. The structure of the proposed filter is based on parallel coupled m.crostrip lines and four sections are used. Tuning the two operational bands can be achieved using two open-circuited stubs at the first and last sections of the parallel coupled m.crostrip lines. The proposed filter is adjusted to operate at 12.54 GHz and 14.14 GHz for downlink and uplink bands, respectively. The proposed dual band BPF is fabricated, m.asured, and good agreem.nt is obtained between sim.lated and m.asured results.

Apis m.llifera syriaca exhibits a high degree of tolerance to pests and pathogens including varroa m.tes. This native honey bee subspecies of Jordan expresses behavioral adaptations to high tem.erature and dry seasons typical of the region. However, persistent honey bee im.orts of com.ercial breeder lines are endangering local honey bee population. This study reports the use of next-generation sequencing （NGS） technology to study the A. m. syriaca genom. and to identify genetic factors possibly contributing toward m.te resistance and other favorable traits. We obtained a total of 46.2 m.llion raw reads by applying the NGS to sequence A. m. syriaca and used extensive bioinform.tics approach to identify several candidate genes for Varroa m.te resistance, behavioral and im.une responses char- acteristic for these bees. As a part of characterizing the functional regulation of m.lecular genetic pathway, we have m.pped the pathway genes potentially involved using inform.tion from.Drosophila m.lanogaster and present possible functional changes im.licated in responses to Varroa destructor m.te infestation toward this. We perform.d in-depth functional annotation m.thods to identify -600 candidates that are relevant, genes involved in pathways such as m.crobial recognition and phagocytosis, peptidoglycan recognition protein fam.ly, Gram.negative binding protein fam.ly, phagocytosis receptors, serpins, Toll signaling pathway, Im. pathway, Tnf, JAK-STAT and m.PK pathway, heam.topioesis and cellular response pathways, antiviral, RNAi pathway, stress factors, etc. were selected. Finally, we have cataloged function-specific polym.rphism. between A. m.llifera and A. m. syriaca that could give better understanding of varroa m.te resistance m.chanism. and assist in breeding.
