Two br othe.s born from.a consanguine.us m.rriage. pre.e.ting with the.phe.otype.of the.dise.se. the.r pare.ts, brothe.s and siste.s we.e.e.am.ne.. m.gne.ic re.onance.im.ging of the.brain was pe.form.0} for the.two patie.ts. Se.ue.ce.analysis of m. C1 (Ge.Bank m.NA acce.sion no. Nm.015166) was pe.form.0} for the.patie.ts using i ntronic prim.0}s. PCR re.triction fragm.0}t le.gth polym.rphism.analysis was done.in patie.ts, the.r pare.ts and in 100 Le.ane.e.controls in orde. to e.clude.ge.e.***. The.clinical fe.ture. we.e.characte.istic of the.dise.se. consisting of an e.rly-onse. m.croce.haly followe. by slowly progre.sive.ataxia , pyram.dal tract involve.e.t and e.ile.tic se.zure..
