bACKGROUND Schistosomiasis,officially named as a neglected tropical disease by The World Health Organization,is a serious parasitic disease caused by trematode flukes of the genus *** is a common infectious disease,endemic in more than 78 *** disease can involve various organs and poses far-reaching public health *** SUMMARY Here,we present a series of five patients with variable presentations:an asymptomatic patient who was diagnosed with colonic schistosomiasis upon screening colonoscopy;2 patients with clinical suspicion of colonic cancer;and 2 patients with a clinical diagnosis of inflammatory bowel *** patients were subsequently confirmed to have colonic schistosomiasis after colonoscopy and histopathologic *** clinical manifestations,colonoscopy features and histologic findings of the patients are *** of the patients showed significant clinical improvement following administration of oral *** Intestinal schistosomiasis can present with features mimicking other gastrointestinal *** disease should be a diagnostic consideration in patients who live in or have traveled to endemic areas.

Software development is getting a transition from centralized version control systems(CVCSs)like Subversion to decentralized version control systems(DVCDs)like Git due to lesser efficiency of former in terms of branching,fusion,time,space,merging,offline commits&builds and repository,*** is having a share of 77%of total VCS,followed by Subversion with a share of 13.5%.The majority of software industries are getting a migration from Subversion to *** a few migration tools are available in the software ***,these too lack in many features like lack of identifying the empty directories as premigration check,failover capabilities during migration due to network failure or disk space issue,and detailed report generation as post-migration *** this work,a holistic,proactive and novel approach has been presented for pre/during/post-migration validation from Subversion to *** scripts have been developed and executed run-time over various projects for overcoming the limitations of existing migration software tools for a Subversion to Git *** premigration,none of the available migration tools has the capability to fetch empty directories of Subversion,which results in an incomplete migration from Subversion to *** Scripts have been developed and executed for pre-migration validation and migration preparation,which overcomes the problem of incomplete *** was conducted in SRLC Software Research Lab,Chicago,*** the migration process,in case of loss of network connection or due to any other reason,if migration stops or breaks,available migration tools do not have capabilities to start over from the same point where it *** Scripts have been developed and executed to keep the migration revision history in the cache(elastic cache)to start from the same point where it was left due to connection *** post-migration,none of the available version control migration tools generate a detailed repo

Remote sensing image processing engaged researchers’attentiveness in recent years,especially *** main problem in classification is the ratio of the correct predictions after *** extraction is the foremost important step to build high-performance image *** convolution neural networks can extract images’features that significantly improve the image classifiers’*** paper proposes two efficient approaches for remote sensing images classification that utilizes the concatenation of two convolution channels’outputs as a features extraction using two classic convolution models;these convolution models are the ResNet 50 and the DenseNet *** elicited features have been used by the fully connected neural network classifier and support vector machine classifier as input *** results of the proposed methods are compared with other antecedent approaches in the same experimental *** is based on learning curves plotted during the training of the proposed classifier that is based on a fully connected neural network and measuring the overall accuracy for the both proposed *** proposed classifiers are used with their trained weights to predict a big remote sensing scene’s classes for a developed *** results ensure that,compared with the other traditional classifiers,the proposed classifiers are further accurate.

Gut microbiota has a significant role in gut development,maturation,and immune system *** exerts considerable effects on the child's physical and mental *** gut microbiota composition and structure depend on many host and microbial *** host factors include age,genetic pool,general health,dietary factors,medication use,the intestine's pH,peristalsis,and transit time,mucus secretions,mucous immunoglobulin,and tissue oxidation-reduction *** microbial factors include nutrient availability,bacterial cooperation or antagonism,and bacterial *** part of the gut has its microbiota due to its specific *** gut microbiota interacts with different body parts,affecting the pathogenesis of many local and systemic *** is a common finding in many childhood disorders such as autism,failure to thrive,nutritional disorders,coeliac disease,Necrotizing Enterocolitis,helicobacter pylori infection,functional gastrointestinal disorders of childhood,inflammatory bowel diseases,and many other gastrointestinal *** is also observed in allergic conditions like atopic dermatitis,allergic rhinitis,and *** can also impact the development and the progression of immune disorders and cardiac disorders,including heart *** supplements could provide some help in managing these ***,we are still in need of more *** this narrative review,we will shed some light on the role of microbiota in the development and management of common childhood disorders.

Prevalence and antimicrobial resistance pattern of bacterial strains isolated from patients with urinary tract infection in Messalata Central Hospital, Libya

Objective: To investigate the prevalence of urinary tract infection among patients at Messalata Central Hospital, Libya, to identify the causative bacteria, and to explore their resistance pattern to antimicrobials. Methods: A total number of 1 153 urine samples were collected from patients, who attended daily to Messalata Central Hospital, Libya, in a study extended for one year. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing and isolates typing were done using Phoenix bD(bD diagnostic). Resistance was confirmed manually using agar disk diffusion method. Results: Of the 1 153 urine samples tested, 160(13.9%) samples were positive, from which 17 different, solely Gram negative, uropathogens were identified. Escherichia coli were the most prevalent(55.6%) bacteria, followed by Klebsiella pneumoniae subspecies pneumoniae(16.3%), Proteus mirabilis(6.3%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa(5.6%), Enterobacter cloacae and Klebsiella oxytoca(2.5%, each), Citrobacter koseri and Providencia rettgeri(1.9%, each), Acinetobacter baumannii, Enterobacter aerogenes and Proteus vulgaris(1.3%, each), and Aeromonas caviae, Citrobacter freundii, Cronobacter sakazakii, Enterobacter amnigenus biogroup 2, Pseudomonas putida and Serratia marcescens(0.6%, each). The isolated uropathogens showed increased levels of resistance ranged from 10.5% to 64.5%, with an overall resistance of 28.9%. Amikacin was the most effective antimicrobial followed by Imipenem and Meropenem(0%, 0.6% and 2.5% resistance, respectively); while, Cephalothin and Ampicillin were the least(80.6% and 90.0% resistance, respectively) effective. Conclusions: The obtained results emphasized the emergence of highly resistant bacteria to most of tested antimicrobials and raise the alarm for physicians to change their treatment pattern depending on antimicrobial susceptibility results.

Evaluation of the microstructure,thermal and mechanical properties of Cu/SiC nanocomposites fabricated by mechanical alloying

Nano-sized silicon carbide(SiC:0wt%,1wt%,2wt%,4wt%,and 8wt%)reinforced copper(Cu)matrix nanocomposites were manufactured,pressed,and sintered at 775 and 875℃in an argon atmosphere.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy were performed to characterize the microstructural *** density,thermal expansion,mechanical,and electrical properties were *** analyses showed that with increasing SiC content,the microstrain and dislocation density increased,while the crystal size *** coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE)of the nanocomposites was less than that of the Cu *** improvement in the CTE with increasing sintering temperature may be because of densification of the ***,the mechanical properties of these nanocomposites showed noticeable enhancements with the addition of SiC and sintering temperatures,where the microhardness and apparent strengthening efficiency of nanocomposites containing 8wt%SiC and sintered at 875℃were 958.7 MPa and 1.07 vol%^(−1),*** electrical conductivity of the sample slightly decreased with additional SiC and increased with sintering *** prepared Cu/SiC nanocomposites possessed good electrical conductivity,high thermal stability,and excellent mechanical properties.

Usually,rural areas can be electrified via three-phase distribution transformers with relatively large *** such areas,low voltage lines are used for long distances,which cause power losses and voltage drop for different types of *** losses and improving voltage profiles in rural distribution networks are significant challenges for electricity distribution *** different solutions were proposed in the literature to overcome these challenges,most of them face difficulties when applied in the conventional distribution *** address the above issues,an applicable solution is proposed in this paper by installing a number of small-capacity distribution transformers instead of every single large-capacity transformer in rural *** proposed approach is implemented in the branch network of Al-Hoqool village,which belongs to the Nineveh distribution *** network has been inspected on-site,drawn,and analyzed using the electrical systems analysis program(ETAP).The analysis showed that using the single-phase pole-mounted transformers can improve the voltage in the network’s end by 29%and enhance the voltage profile for all *** analysis has also demonstrated that the modification can reduce the total power losses by 78%compared to the existing *** the economic aspect,the payback period for the proposed network is assigned to be 20 months.

Objective:The current study aimed to assess the knowledge and attitudes of nurses toward the current COVID-19 pandemic and Omicron *** and Methods:A cross-sectional online survey was *** 277 Egyptian nurses completed an electronic questionnaire comprising demographics with 5 items,nurses’knowledge on Omicron with 18 questions,and nurses’attitudes on Omicron with 5 *** data collected were expressed using numbers,percentages,and mean and standard ***:The mean age of nurses was 27±5 years,nearly 50%of the nurses were bachelor *** total score of correct answers related to knowledge was 75%,showing the different degrees of knowledge about *** majority of nurses showed positive attitudes toward controlling and managing the COVID-19 ***:Egyptian nurses have average knowledge about Omicron and a positive attitude toward controlling the COVID-19 *** should be scope for further assessment to enhance understanding about ***,health education programs should be developed for nursing staff to improve information,beliefs,behaviors,and attitudes towards the Omicron variant in particular and the COVID-19 pandemic in general.

Tissue Doppler,speckling tracking and four-dimensional echocardiographic assessment of right ventricular function in children with dilated cardiomyopathy

bACKGROUND Right ventricular(RV)function is frequently overlooked during dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM)*** To evaluate RV function in children with idiopathic DCM using relatively recent echocardiographic *** We prospectively studied the cardiac function in 50 children with idiopathic DCM and 50 healthy children as a control group,using four-dimensional echocardiography(4-DE),Tissue Doppler Imaging(TDI),and two-dimensional-speckles tracking echocardiography(2-D-STE).RV EF was measured by *** The auto left(LV)ejection fractions(EF)measured by 2-D-STE were significantly lower in the patients'group than in the *** sphericity index was also significantly lower in children with DCM than in the *** EF measured by 4-DE was significantly lower in the patient's group than the *** S wave,e´/a'ratio,myocardial performance index(MPI),and tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion(TAPSE)were significantly impaired in children with DCM than in *** LV and RV global longitudinal strains(GLS)were significantly reduced in children with DCM than in *** was significantly associated with the duration since diagnosis,tricuspid annulus S wave,RV MPI,and TAPSE,but not with the age of the patients,RV EF,or e´/a'*** There was impairment of the RV LGS and other systolic and diastolic parameters in children with *** and TDI can help to detect the early decline of RV function.

Improvement of sintering,nonlinear electrical,and dielectric properties of ZnO-based varistors doped with TiO2

The effects of TiO2 on sintering and nonlinear electrical properties of（98.5-x）ZnO–0.5MnO2–0.5Co2O3-0.5bi2O3–xTiO2（x = 0.3,0.5,0.7,0.9 mol%） ceramic varistors prepared by the ceramic technique are investigated in this *** optimum sintering temperature of the prepared samples is deduced by determining the firing shrinkage and water absorption *** optimum sintering temperature is found to be 1200℃,at which each of the samples shows a maximum firing shrinkage and minimum water *** minimum water absorption appears in a sample of x = 0.9 mol%.Higher sintering temperature and longer sintering time give rise to a reduction in bulk density due to the increased amount of porosity between the large grains of ZnO resulting from the rapid grain growth induced by the liquid phase *** crystal size of ZnO decreases with increasing TiO2 *** addition of TiO2 improves the nonlinear coefficient and attains its maximum value at x = 0.7 mol% of TiO2,further addition negatively affects it.A decrease in capacitance consequently in the dielectric constant is recorded with increasing the frequency in a range of 30 kHz–200 *** temperature and composition dependences of the dielectric constant and AC conductivity are also *** increase of temperature raises the dielectric constant because it increases ionic response to the field at any particular frequency.
