Cervical Cancer Prediction Empowered with Federated Machine Learning

Cervical cancer is an intrusive cancer that imitates various women around the world. Cervical cancer ranks in thefourth position because of the leading death cause in its premature stages. The cervix which is the lower end of thevagina that connects the uterus and vagina forms a cancerous tumor very slowly. This pre-mature cancerous tumorin the cervix is deadly if it cannot be detected in the early stages. So, in this delineated study, the proposed approachuses federated machine learning with numerous machine learning solvers for the prediction of cervical cancer totrain the weights with varying neurons empowered fuzzed techniques to align the neurons, Internet of MedicalThings (IoMT) to fetch data and blockchain technology for data privacy and models protection from hazardousattacks. The proposed approach achieves the highest cervical cancer prediction accuracy of 99.26% and a 0.74%misprediction rate. So, the proposed approach shows the best prediction results of cervical cancer in its early stageswith the help of patient clinical records, and all medical professionals will get beneficial diagnosing approachesfrom this study and detect cervical cancer in its early stages which reduce the overall death ratio of women due tocervical cancer.

Cardiotocography measures the fetal heart rate in the fetus during pregnancy to ensure physical health because cardiotocography gives data about fetal heart rate and uterine shrinkages which is very beneficial to detect whether the fetus is normal or suspect or *** cardiotocography measures infer wrongly and give wrong predictions because of human *** traditional way of reading the cardiotocography measures is the time taken and belongs to numerous human errors as *** condition is very important to measure at numerous stages and give proper medications to the fetus for its *** the current period Machine learning(ML)is a well-known classification strategy used in the biomedical field on various issues because ML is very fast and gives appropriate results that are better than traditional *** techniques play a pivotal role in detecting fetal disease in its early *** research article uses Federated machine learning(FML)and ML techniques to classify the condition of the *** study proposed a model for the detection of bio-signal cardiotocography that uses FML and ML techniques to train and test the ***,the proposed model of FML used numerous data preprocessing techniques to overcome data deficiency and achieves 99.06%and 0.94%of prediction accuracy and misprediction rate,respectively,and parallel the proposed model applying K-nearest neighbor(KNN)and achieves 82.93%and 17.07%of prediction accuracy and misprediction accuracy,***,by comparing both models FML outperformed the KNN technique and achieved the best and most appropriate prediction results as compared with previous studies the proposed study achieves the best and most accurate results.

Robust Stabilization of Load Frequency Control System Under Networked Environment

The deregulation of the electricity market made the open communication infrastructure an exigent need for future power system. In this scenario dedicated communication links are replaced by shared networks. These shared networks are characterized by random time delay and data loss. The random time delay and data loss may lead to system instability if they are not considered during the controller design stage. Load frequency control systems used to rely on dedicated communication links. To meet future power system challenges these dedicated networks are replaced by open communication links which makes the system stochastic. In this paper, the stochastic stabilization of load frequency control system under networked environment is investigated. The shared network is represented by three states which are governed by Markov chains. A controller synthesis method based on the stochastic stability criteria is presented in the paper. A one-area load frequency control system is chosen as case study. The effectiveness of the proposed method for the controller synthesis is tested through simulation. The derived proportion integration （PI） controller proves to be optimum where it is a compromise between compensating the random time delay effects and degrading the system dynamic performance. The range of the PI controller gains that guarantee the stochastic stability is determined. Also the range of the PI controller gains that achieve the robust stochastic stability is determined where the decay rate is used to measure the robustness of the system.

Statistical Relationship Between UVB(280-320nm) and Broadband Solar Radiation(295-2800nm) at a Subtropical Location(Qena,Egypt)

The present study quantifies the relationship between ultraviolet-B(UVB) and broadband solar radiation(G) at Qena,*** from 10-year hourly integrated totals for both UVB and G on a horizontal surface were used to determine the best fit between the two radiation *** the basis of the correlation of determination(r2),a second-order polynomial was determined to provide the best *** the purpose of developing an empirical model to estimate UVB,all of the cases of UVB and G from a nine-year study from 2001 to 2009 were *** and seasonal empirical models,as well as a general expression,were established for UVB as a function of *** values of r2 ranged from 0.90 to *** using a new dataset of G,the estimated and the corresponding measured values of UVB were determined to be in good agreement whereby the values of r2 between the two ranged from 0.91 to *** addition,the significance and performance of the regression forms were evaluated with the aid of several statistical analysis *** values of the index of modeling(d) and coefficient of modeling efficiency(ME) were close to ***,the values of RMSE,mean bias error(MBE),and mean absolute error(MAE) were lower than the experimental *** the basis of this analysis,it has been determined that the suggested regression forms can be used to estimate UVB when it difficult to obtain measurements or when measurements are available only for limited periods at the studied region.

Association of LOXL1 gene common sequence variants in Jordanian patients with exfoliation syndrome and exfoliative glaucoma

AIM：To investigate the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs） in the LOXL1 gene with exfoliation syndrome/glaucoma （XFS/XFG） among ***：Sixty-one patients with XFS/XFG and 59 healthy control individuals were recruited in the *** were diagnosed with XFS/XFG using standard clinical examination techniques. The exonic rs1048661SNP and the intronic rs2165241 SNP in LOXL1 gene were genotyped using sequencing technique. Allele and genotype frequencies were compared between cases and controls using Chi-square ***：The G allele of the rs1048661 SNP and the T allele of the rs2165241 SNP were common in the sample with frequencies of 86.4% and 81.4%, respectively. In addition, there were no significant differences in the genotypic and allelic distributions between patients and controls for rs1048661 SNP （P=0.770, OR=1.21, 95%CI：0.56-2.60） and for rs2165241 SNP （P=0.605, OR=1.12,95%CI：0.59-2.09）. In addition, no significant associations were found between haplotypes of the examined SNPs and XFS/XFG in the sample （P〉0.05）. CONCLUSION：Variations in LOXL1 gene may not be associated with XFS/XFG in the Jordanian *** studies are required to confirm the current findings.

Alveolar Ridge Preservation Utilizing Composite (Bioceramics/Collagen) Graft: A Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Assessment in a Randomized Split-Mouth Controlled Trial

Background: The vast percentage of the alveolar bone resorption process happens within the first 12 to 24 weeks post extraction;however, this phenomenon is chronic, and the alveolar ridge continues to resorb. In order to prevent this reduction or at least recompense the loss of bone dimensions, the alveolar ridge preservation (ARP) technique was developed. Objectives: This research studied the vertical and horizontal bone dimensional changes as a result of non-molar teeth extraction alone against extraction with alveolar ridge preservation utilizing composite (bioceramics/collagen) graft by cone-beam computed tomography radiographies analyses. Material and Methods: This research was a randomized split-mouth controlled trial. 12 patients need extraction of the maxillary non-molar teeth were enrolled and allocated into 2 groups. 12 sockets after atraumatic extraction were filled with a composite graft in the role of the test group, 12 sockets left to unassisted healing after atraumatic extraction without any graft materials in the role of the control group. Two CBCT radiographs were taken at baseline and at 4 months after extraction for comparison. Both vertical and horizontal resorptions of the alveolar ridge were analyzed between test and control group by CBCT radiographs. Results: 4 months after extraction, there was a mean of vertical alveolar bone resorption compared with the baseline (0.56 ± 0.15 mm) in the test group and (1.47 ± 0.30 mm) in the control group. Whereas it was a mean of horizontal alveolar bone resorption compared with the baseline (0.90 ± 0.16 mm) in the test group and (2.26 ± 0.30 mm) in the control group. Therefore, there was a significant difference between the two groups. Automatic Analysis Reporting for Hydro-Chemical Data Using Updated DurovPwin Program

Graphical representation of groundwater major dissolved constituents greatly help researchers in understanding the hydro-chemical evolution, grouping and areal distribution. Durov diagram is one of the most widely used technique but it requires a lot of tedious calculations. The DurovPlot program, which is used to plot the expanded Durov diagram as a graphical representation of groundwater major dissolved constituents is working on Disk Operating System （DOS） environment. Therefore, the need of a new program working under windows is a must. The program termed as DurovPwinis developed using Microsoft visual studio 2010. The DurovPwin program not only calculates the Durov coordinates and plot it, but also plots the total dissolved solids （TDS） on logarithmic scale and the measure of the activity of hydrogen ion （pH） of the given samples. The updated DurovPwin adds many features such as interface with Microsoft Office package （Word and Excel） to read the input chemical elements and automatically write result interpretation report. The user facility to group wells based on data features is added and the selection of the electric balance tolerance （10% as default） value is given. Another feature of the modified DurovPwinis has the ability to do useful X-Y plot for different hydro-chemical parameters to assist in data interpretation. The sodium adsorption ratio （SAR） is also calculated and written in the final report. Also, in the present study, the usability of the new version of DurovPwin program has been tested on the chemical data from 59 groundwater samples collected from A1-Jawf area, Saudi Arabia. The collected water samples were mainly from the Secondary-Tertiary-Quaternary （STQ） aquifer and some from Tawil and Jaufaquifers. The grouping of the major ions in the three aquifers have been displayed and presented using the DurovPwin program. Ultrasound Role in Diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Postoperative Evaluation in Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) represents about 90% of all entrapment neuropathies and is caused by entrapment of the median nerve while passing in the carpal tunnel. US has revealed equal effectiveness as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in diagnosis of CTS;however further attention should be given in case of equivocal results from nerve conduction studies (NCS) and/or before endoscopic surgical intervention. This study was conducted to evaluate the role of US in diagnosis and treatment of CTS which was done by endoscopic release. This is a prospective study including patients having CTS who were treated by endoscopic release between December 2017 and December 2018. All cases were evaluated by electrophysiological studies and US at the preoperative period. US was used to measure the cross sectional area (CSA) of the median nerve. Patients underwent endoscopic carpal tunnel release and were called for follow up after 1, 3, and 6 months for clinical and US assessment of the median nerve. Forty cases were included with mean age of 27.85 years. Numbness was the predominant symptom (92.5%) followed by wrist pain (85%). The mean diameter of median nerve showed a significant decrease at different time points (P < 0.001). The sensitivity of US in diagnosis of CTS was 87.5% in the preoperative assessment as compared to electrophysiological study. The sensitivity of US in detecting the improvement of CTS as compared to clinical examination increased from 28% at 1 month postoperative, 53.4% at 3 months to 92.1% at 6 months. Ultrasonography is a sensitive non-invasive diagnostic tool in diagnosis of CTS preoperative and diagnosis of improvement of the patients postoperatively especially at 6 months.

Effect of Kind Rolling on the Properties of Plasma-Formed Nitride Layers on Fe93Ni4Ti3

The nitriding behavior of cold rolled Fe93Ni4Ti3 specimens was compared with that of hot rolled specimens of the same materials. Radio frequency (rf) nitriding was performed for 10 minutes in a 10-2 mbar nitrogen atmosphere. The continuous plasma power was varied from 300-550 W in steps 50 W or less. Results of optical microscopy (OM), x-ray diffraction (XRD) and microhardness measurements (Hv) are presented and discussed with regard to the influence of kind rolling on the nitriding behavior, particularly nitride formation and nitride layer growth on mechanical properties. The results show a remarkable increase of nitrogen diffusivity and microhardness of cold rolled nitride samples. These best results may be attributed to enhancement of the defect and/or a compressive stress.
